Mister Sparky

Went very well. I was impressed with the level of quality, cost, service, and attention to detail by Everett who came to my house. He fixed a major issue for me caused by a handyman. I would keep doing business with Mister Sparkey and would ask for Everett. He is an asset to your company. Honest and kept me updated throughout the entire process. I learned a lot listening to him.

Excellent! Kevin and Paul were very professional and punctual. Paul and the crew worked around the clock for 2 days. First day they were here over 12 house, didn't leave house until 9:30-10pm. The team cleaned up very nicely each day and were available to answer any questions that I had. Kevin came back for the inspection and everything was approved and signed off. Would definitely recommend.

The provider came to my home to give a bid to install 2 ceiling fans - I almost fell off my chair when the installer told me the bid was $1746.90 to install 2 ceiling fans!!! Ok a box needed to be installed on one fan and some conduit but this is an outrageous price!!! In fact its insane !!! When i complained that the price was really high the installer said " We are not the lest expensive" I do have to say the installer was prompt and quite friendly and professional - but heck this is a 500 to 600 dollar job... ps my building manager gave me a the name of a great service EMC Electrical - $65 an hour - they did the work in 4.5 hours 561-577-7419 ask for Alex

It was very good. We have him in the house and it's a first protector and it is working well. He did a nice job and I am happy with him. They're doing very well the way it was. They live up to their agreement. What they offered they installed and it's been working well. They use standard brands.

Very courteous and professional. Very fair price.

After removing fixture, noticed that there was no junction box in ceiling but a substitute attached to the fixture itself. That was removed when fixture removed. Had to add a junction box. He had everything he needed in his truck and finished the work beautifully.

We didn't use him but he was helpful. He gave us a statement for our insurance. He seemed very professional. He explained that we didn't need the work done. They came and did what they said they were going to do.

Awful. Company never showed up. They reserve a three hour window which tied me up most of the day. What are they a cable company? Give me a break they never showed up then had the nerve to tell me I wasn't in there system. Upon a quick look she found that I was but told me I was scheduled for a day I knew I wasn't even available. What a load of bull. Not to mention you normally end up talking with an answering service. An employee doesn't even answer the phone at 9 in the morning. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

I thought that they were extremely expensive for the additional work I needed. I had them install a couple lights and replace some outlets. The technician did a quality job and was professional. I feel like he did up sell me on the service. I was not expecting to have to pay that much or have all that work done that day. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

They did a great job as usual. We have used them several times in the past.

The owner came by on time and was very friendly. Knows how to have a conversation but not talk your ear off or fill you with useless knowledge. Definitely recommend him for your electrical needs.

Had previously purchased several outdoor lights and other services from them. Two of the light heads had broken from their stands. I wasn't home when it happened, could have been a falling palm frond or the lawn service or something else. Called Mr. Sparky and they came and assessed and ordered replacement heads as close as they could match to originals. Came and installed, no labor charge, just cost of the heads. Tested them and took away the trash from the job. Very courteous and nice.

It went fine. We had a 2,000 sq. ft townhome.

I had Mr. Sparky come to do the following: 1. See if the kitchen under counter lights could be prevented from causing static on the kitchen radio 2. Have the kitchen ceiling fan operate separately and not be connected to the kitchen lights. The technician said the under counter lights were the problem with the static and could not do anything about it. He did change a connection in the ceiling fan so it could operate separately, which took about 10 minutes. After the visit I went on Mr. Sparky web site and sent the following observations to them: ?I would like to pass on our observations of service we got on 11/20/14. 1. We did not get a call prior to the technician showing up. 2. He wanted to use the bathroom when he got here. This is an imposition. 3. He did not wear booties or offer to wear them. 4. He did not tell us the cost before doing the work. 5. the cost was high for rewiring a ceiling fan so it could operate without the kitchen light being on. 6. when he left he had one of the under cabinet lights on low which we didn't notice until the next day. 7. I called about one light being dimmer the next day and was told they would get back to me. About 4 hours later, I still hadn't heard so I called back. They contacted the technician who said he probably left the light on dim and didn't tell us. This did not seem to go along with your add online or with Angie's list rating.? A few days later I received an email thanking me for my comments and followed by a call both from Deena, the General Manager. She said the technician was new and would be retrained concerning my items. She also said that since I was not satisfied, she was going to refund my service fee shortly. I said it was not necessary since some of the work was done, but she insisted. I thought this was a very nice gesture and good customer service. I also felt that $187.00 to just move a wire on the fan from one wire to another in the fan was a bit much. After a week and no refund, I called and asked if she had changed her mind. She said no, she did these types of transactions on the weekend and due to Thanksgiving, she hadn?t got to it but would do it next weekend and would send an email when she did. 2 more weekends had passed and I had received no email or refund. After contact with Deena, she sent me a copy of the refund which had been done a week previously . I contacted Discover who said it could take up to 2 weeks to appear on my account, which seems a bit long. Deena said she thought she had sent me an email, but found she had written it, but did not send it by mistake. I would have contacted Discover first if I had gotten the email, but these things happen, so much of this was just miscommunications on both of our parts. Kevin and his crew were awesome!! He called 20 mintues ahead of schedual to advise he was on his way, which was great to hear from them first, so I could get my puppy placed in the masterbedroom with a small gate. They arrived promptly, asset the placement, and went right to work. They put up the new fixture quickly and suggested the best kind of lights to place in it, I was concerned there may be a short in the wire, from the other fixture; but Kevin checked everything, said it was fine, and did not have to fix any wiring ~ which was great. He could have overcharged me here, but was honest......something rare to find nowadays. Would highly recommend them for any electrical needs!!!! They are friendly, professional and kind!

I've been in the Real Estate development, construction, investing, marketing and sales business in South Palm Beach County for 20 years. During 18 of those years I've been using an electrical contractor who did stellar work. Unfortunately he moved to the Poconos in Pennsylvania. I've tried other contractors and was unhappy about the time it took to get an appointment, the time it took to get the job done and the price. I made an appointment and two days later Joe showed up at 9:00AM for a 8-11AM appointment. Of course my problem was a very difficult one to diagnose and it took 3 hours. For me, that's par for the course. Murphy of Murphy's Law lives with me somewhere. Joe persevered and got the two problems I had fixed. I was there to observe the whole time and was impreseds with his ability to troubleshoot the problems and get them solved. They are not cheap. But 3 hours of an electrician's time for $249??? That is hard to beat. Don't try to beat it, you get what you pay for and I've paid much more for much less service. I will be referring all my clients to Mr. Sparky of Pompano Beach from now on! I couldn't be happier and I'm not that easy to please as I use many subcontractors on the many homes I've owned and sold. I give these guys an A+++ Use them!

Same day service, called ahead of time to let me know technician was coming. Professional, diagnosed problem, and even called FPL to help coordinate service. Would definitely recommend.

First, Brian provided a free, extensive estimate. Mr Sparky was $1,900 less than the previous estimate. The office scheduled an appointment and on the day of the appointment date, the office called to give me a half-hour heads-up. .Brian installed the transfer switch, went step-by-step on the operation of the switch and the generator. I needed a part but didn't have a car, so Brian got the part for me. We have encountered several "Non-Angies" list vendors who were indifferent, not professional , and gouged prices. It was absolutely refreshing to do business with such an outstanding, professional company which cares about it's reputation but more: customer device. We moved to Florida a year ago and we did not know one person who could make a recommendation for services we required. So I joined Angiie's List and can assuredly state that EVERY vendor we used from A.L. was outstanding. Otherwisse we would be in the dark. Every time we use an A.L. vendor we are soooooooo Grateful that such a service exists.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fantastic. There were no additional charges. They were efficient, friendly and got the job done. It was fine.

Quite honestly, this is one of the best experiences I've had with work to be done on a home that we had just purchased! To pass a 4-point inspection, we've had to do quite a bit of work (electrical, plumbing, A/C, etc.) and, frankly, it was a very frustrating time. Other contractors were deceiving and some just flat out bailed on us. Deena, the manager, was very understanding and accommodating. She was prompt in returning phone calls and emails. She even stopped by on site one day and I had gotten to meet her. Bryan, the technician, was very knowledgeable and honest. He was a hard worker and at no time did I feel like we were being pressured in to unnecessary work or services. There were a couple of hiccups and it took a few more trips and longer time than we originally thought, but the work was completed fully and satisfactorily. We do have a few more plans which are going to have to be done in baby steps in the next few years, but I will continue to use Bryan, Deena and Mr. Sparky for our future needs.

Wonderful experience. The electrician who came to my house was really professional and did quick, thorough work. Their pricing for jobs is really simple and honest (flat rates for types of jobs, so you don't have to wonder if you are getting ripped off). I plan to use them for every electrical job I have in the future.

Bryan arrived on the dot. He explained his work carefully and answered all my questions very clearly. When it came time for the bill, he directed me to an on-line coupon that saved me qute a bit. I certainly recomend him and his company.

I feel they over charged for the work done. I had a new timer I was told did not work. The installer told me it was installed wrong (not grounded). After he started the work he decided to move the timer to the other side of the wall. It reminded me of taking my car to some of these auto shops. The mechanic gets paid more for finding something else wrong with the car. I just wanted the timer fixed or replaced. I knew the average price was $35.00 for the timer. What I did not know was it would escalate to $187.00. I wrote the company and got a less than professional call back. I was told my wife signed for the work. Yes she did, however I had stepped out and did not know his pricing until he finished. My bad. I will not do business with Mister Sparky again. The positive was the installer was very professional.

They were very good! Scheduling was very easy and they were right on time. The price was very reasonable and the pump has held up fine since they came out to do the work. It’s just like new!
