I had 2 exterior door frames that were rotted out. I called My Handy Craftsman and was put in touch with Greg. He walked me through the materials that I needed and was a big help even prior to the project. The day of the project, Greg was early, professional and did a great job. He even ran to get some extra material to finish the project. Overall, great experience and would use them again.

I am extremely disgusted with the lack of professionalism and consideration of my time and money. Especially given that I asked more than 3 times, if they were too busy to take this work on. I will be sure to share my displeasure with others here locally.

Kyle was on time, explained what he was going to do and gave the price. He didn't change the price and all work was done perfectly. He was friendly and professional. I would never go with another company, as I have used them several times and found work to be exceptional! Company highly recommended!!!!!

All staff were professional and it was a completely enjoyable experience. They were courteous and arrived on time. They are skilled craftsman and had excellent communication skill. I actually recommended them to my father in law and they provided a fantastic experience for him as well installing 7 new light fixtures and fans. A++++

The date and cost estimate are a complete guess as this was quite some time ago and I don't remember the specific details except that I was very satisfied with the work and the handyman they sent out.

From start to finish they were professional and friendly. Jeff was up-front about how they operate and the way their pricing works. He listened to what we wanted and was back with me within 24 hours. Paul, the craftsman performing the work, was on-time and worked very quickly, efficiently and was surprisingly clean. We originally called only for pressure cleaning and staining but saw that they do so much more on their website and decided to ask if they could do a few other projects as well. I will admit, I was a little concerned because my laundry list of projects was all over the place, but Paul seemed completely confident he would be able to do everything. He walked through it all with me and I could tell he knew what he was doing. And not only was he able, it looked awesome! It took a few days to complete everything but Paul always let us know what the status was and when he would return. My Handy Craftsman did an awesome job! We are so pleased with everything. The price was fair, the work was done quickly, the quality was great and the versatility was amazing. We would definitely use them again for future projects.

I had scheduled for drywall repair of a 2x3 foot hole that had been cut into my master bedroom closet. The cut was made to investigate a potential leak. I had scheduled approximately a week in advance. I was in the process of selling my house and needed the repairs done that day, as agreed upon. I was scheduled for 0830 in the morning. At approximately 0745 I received a call from the business and spoke with Ken. Ken advised there must have been a miscommunication because he did primarily carpentry work and would not be able to repair the hole. Although Ken was nice and apologetic he said all he could do is refer the matter to the "big boss," and hope he could reschedule someone to come out that day. I never received a call from the company about their mistake. I was forced to use a different Angie's List company that did a great job. The cancellation was not due to an emergency or unforeseen event. When a company is scheduled to perform a service and cancels 45 minutes before arrival, makes no effort to correct the mistake, and never calls me they deserve an F.

After first contacting Paul's Home Pro Service (due to good reviews and client response), I ended up giving My Handy Craftsman a call. Paul's Home Pro Service was completely unhelpful nor repsonsive to my request. After an initial call explaining our home needs, he didn't provide me much in the way of how they handle business and just asked that I text him photos of the work to be completed. I did so immediately and he didn't give me a call or response that day, nor the next - I tried to follow up with him to see that he received all of my photos (which sent from my end just fine) and I received zero in return. I understand if companies are busy (maybe too busy to even take on the job(s) we needed help with) and that's totally fine...so long as one can communicate such information; just a simple return call or message would have been suffice enough for me to move on w/o feeling the need to write these comments. To have such good reviews and be left with an experience that was completely the opposite was unfortunate and disappointing. With all of that being said, I will absolutely contact My Handy Craftsman in the future for our home project needs. The guys who came out to complete our projects were punctual, professional and friendly and did a great job for us. They even helped us repair a Little Free Library www.littlefreelibrary.org) that we had come in damaged during shipment, at no additional cost. Communication was clear; they were responsive on the phone and a pleasure to do business with.

Our craftsman John, was excellent. He was on time, well prepared, knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. The sill replacement was done very well, he then sealed and primed the wood he used. The area was clean and he explained every step he took as he took it. The price was very fair,. We had 2 other estimates to compare it to. I would highly recommended My Handy craftsman, and I would use them again for a similar project if needed.

I called and spoke with Jeff Hale to make the appointment. He is a very pleasant gentleman who was happy to schedule an estimate for the work I wanted done. He was unable to take my details when I called but promised to call me back when he was better able and he did. It was a great start! Michael Hale came to provide an estimate for the job. Also a very pleasant gentleman. I was provided an estimate in a timely manner and given time to review and consider the options presented. I let them know that I was going to wait until just after the new year to do the work and that I would follow up at that time. Jeff called the first week of January and we got it booked. Thank you for the follow up! Bob came out to do the work. Very likeable and easy going gentleman. He was punctual and got right to work each day of the job. He ran into a problem that required a little extra time, work and equipment but was up front about how long it would take to cure and how much it would cost in labor. We ran a little over on the number of days the job was scheduled to take because of the issue but I was happy to have the work done the right way by a professional. The shower looks great and is ready for tiling. I am pleased with the work and will certainly call them again for some other projects I have planned around the house. I have already recommended My Handy Craftsman Inc. to friends who need various projects completed in their homes. Thank you!

Everything turned out better than I had hoped. The wood floor looks better than it did when he started and the transitions came out perfectly. All the cuts were clean and the boards are practically seamless. Greg was very friendly and professional. Even though I hovered a little bit (just trying to learn a few things) he didn't seem to mind and answered any questions I had.

We thought all was well. It took longer than I thought it should. We preset the hot and cold water faucets so the grand kids only had to turn on the shower and the water would always be the correct temperature. Over Thanksgiving, I had company that used that bathroom and did use the cold and hot turn off. After they left, I kept smelling a stinking musty mildew smell in the bathroom. I checked the closed and the carpet was wet and the shoes in that closet had molded. I pulled off the access to the tub plumbing and noticed that the pipe where the water comes out of the faucet had been cut as is they measured wrong and then glued back together which obviously did not hold. I have notified My Handy Craftsman by email with a picture and have heard nothing. I would also like to add that the person who came to do the work tried to under cut the company by giving me his business card and letting me know the work could have been done a lot cheaper if I had gone through him directly. Very unprofessional. I would be happy to provide the picture to anyone with any questions.

I called My Handy Craftsman and my call was answered immediately. I didn't have to wait for a call back, which was really nice. I explained the work that I needed done and scheduled my appointment. Bob arrived on time, and was very professional. He repaired a piece of drywall under my window in the master bathroom, painted the entire bathroom, and hung a mirror on a tiled wall. He did a fantastic job and I love my bathroom again!

My house is 60 years old, concrete block, and stucco. John replaced the ceiling fan with ease and it looks and works great! The old window A/C unit was another story. John worked on it for a while, removing layers of caulk and finally got the old unit out. The new unit is quiet and works well. The third piece of the job was to remove a window A/C unit that had been installed in the cinderblock wall. John replaced the concrete blocks, added drywall and finished the inside and outside very well. The inside blends perfectly and you can't tell there was an A/C unit there. The outside needs to be painted, but will blend well.

Steve Malofeld (not sure of spelling of last name, sorry) arrived exactly at the time he said he would. He reviewed and we discussed what I wanted him to do in my garage. Steve provided feedback and suggestions and gave me a written estimate for the work that he was going to perform. Steve is a very personable person. Easy to talk to and he provides great suggestions on how things can be accomplished. Steve did everything I asked in a timely and professional manner. He swept up after himself and left the area in top shape. I was a very happy camper with Steve, my wife and I will be requesting that he come back and fix other projects that we have around the house.

Repairs were needed for the sale of my home and had to be made in a timely manner. ?Jim arrived on time for the quote and ready to work, if quote was accepted. ? He did an outstanding job. ?Extremely pleased with the quality of work and professionalism. ?Will definitely call on them again in the future.

I called and left a message on an identifiable voice mail only to receive a text message from another number saying that they could not talk right now.

Called and scheduled a time for Jeff to come and take a look at job needed to provide an estimate - Jeff arrived on time, was courteous, I received a detailed estimate next day and work started following Monday which was perfect for my schedule. Everything was handled with utmost care and attention to detail - large job to spruce up an aged condo and there were many little things that Mark - my Handyman Craftsman - saw and went ahead and took care of for me that I would not have noticed or thought about. He did an excellent job on the new shower - tore old shower out and down to studs - replaced any areas that appeared to be moldy and rebuilt shower from bottom to top - retiled, new fixtures, hung new shower door. Had all the rooms repainted as well as door trim and baseboards - some areas took more than one coat to cover up spots - in particular the garage walls. Really made a difference overall appearance of the condo. Worth every penny - very reasonably priced for the job - very professional and accommodating people who really cared about the finished work. Would definitely use MyHandyCraftsman Inc again.

It went rather well. Was in and out very quickly and very professional. Applied texture to wall after repairing hole and you can't tell there used to be a hole there.

Told him everything I wanted done and got the estimate on the spot. They stayed true to the original estimate, very professional, and I would use them again in the future. Highly recommended

After doing research on "Do it yourself" projects and updating two small bathrooms, I decided for the sake of time and my lack of tools, I would hire a handyman. I solicited estimates from several companies. My Handy Craftsman took the time to send someone out to see the jobs; whereas, other companies only sent me e-mail estimates according to what I had typed(I sort of took that too mean the "job" wasn't worth their time) . Chris compared what I had described in my estimates to the work that actually had to be done. Chris saw what needed to be done with real time expectations and when I pointed out a few of my "concerns" he spoke of how they could be addressed within the updates with very little extra effort. We decided to divide the work into two Friday's given my time. It also allowed for only one bathroom to be 'out of order' at a time. I appreciated their consideration of this. Chris worked diligently and continually for the two days. He took the time to explain a few of the features of the new fixtures(ie: how the handle tightens, which was different than my prior faucet"). The finished products are awesome!! Our bathrooms more updated with the fresh paint, new fixtures, and my new decorations. I'm very pleased with the work that My Handy Craftsman completed.

I contacted them to get an estimate for water damage to a wall. Told him we were filing a homeowners claim to get work done. He stated "They are not geared up to do that type of work". *I had to select A ratings to complete review. If you have an insurance claim on your property, this company isn't the company. I favored this company by just looking at the reviews on it.

The handyman that came out confirmed by telephone of his arrival. Showed up on time as scheduled. Was courteous proffesional and knowledgable. Took the time to converse about my options and did the work in a timely fashion. I could not be more pleased with this service. Really awesome..
