Excellent, very professional, courteous, and punctual.

I called late on a Friday and the guy said he would call me back on Monday afternoon. Toward the end of the day on Monday I had to call him again because I had not heard from him. I gave him the information including that I had cracked tiles in my kitchen that needed to be replaced. The handyman (different person) came out on that Friday. I showed him everything that needed to be done. When I showed him the tile, he told me that he was told that they were loose tiles, not cracked tiles. He was not sure that he would be able to do that since his specialty was carpentry, but he would try and if not would contact one of their tile guys. He completed all of the other work and attempted the tile work and determined that he would not be able to do it. He told me that he would have his boss contact me to setup a time for the tile guy to come. The following week the carpenter came to finish his work. (The drywall needed to dry before painting.) We had still not received a call from the boss. The carpenter said that he would talk to his boss again. The next day we had still not heard anything. We called and left a message. We were not called back until a week after that. The work that was done was good, but the customer service needs a lot of work.

His price was competitive and he was very professional.

My Handy Craftsman sent the closest handyman they had in the area. After speaking to him and getting an estimate I allowed them to install the tile and perform the other work. The tile was installed and the other work was done. I had them come out on two different tickets so this review will combine both. I was Extremely happy with the work done. It was outstanding. My wife could not be happier with the tile installation and the baseboard work. We had the same tile throughout the house except for the bathroom which we picked out different tile for. The handyman installed the tile, the baseboard, the bathroom door and vanity. He uninstalled the toilet to put the tile in the bathroom then put it back(of course) so the tile level matched the toilet perfect. Oh and very important to mention: we had water damaged plaster. The plaster had pulled away in a sheet from the subsurface(grey concrete looking stuff) and needed to be repaired without looking bad. This guy matched perfectly with some cement or masonry product the texture of the entire wall! Like an artist. I was so pleased that we could fix it and keep the plaster around without pulling it out and installing wall board. True artistry with the trowel. We are completely floored with the high quality of workmanship. I am already planning my next project for them. The house is now rented and the tenant loved the tile work! The work did take longer than expected "but" it was with my blessing after he asked if that was ok. Since the house was not due to be rented for a couple months we where not in a rush and told him to take his time. It was worth it!

No one showed nor called, as the scheduled time came and passed. I would have expected a courtesy call at the very least.

They did a fantastic job, I had it arranged to be done while I was out of town. They called the morning before starting the project and completed it on time and within their estimate. They removed all the debris as well. Definitely recommend the work they do, professional.

Not a good company! I took a day off of work and the guy never showed. Rescheduled for the next day and another day off and they guy suddenly quit the company, so the owner said he could have someone come from Orlando who I'm assuming was not licensed since I found out later on that you need to have permits to install doors. I had my front door ripped out and replaced and my kitchen door ripped out and replaced, neither of which have an installation around them from where gaps were (just molding to cover the air space). The guy who came out couldn't finish the first day so I had a door with a gap all around over night (didn't feel too safe). The stucco on the outside was damaged and patched with concrete, which looks nothing like the stucco. The doorbell was never reinstalled and the keyhole on the kitchen door was damaged due to a nail that was never fixed. The installation of the lights and ceiling fan were done well, but the doors were a definite disappointment.

This is a small job that should have taken about 5 days it took two weeks. Some days the worker did not show up. Then he only worked part of the day. He did not texture the walls, did a poor paint job, left anchors in the wall from the old paper holder, and said it wasn't on his work order to remove them! Texture was on the work order and it wasn't done. I called the company complained about the paint job and they came back out and textured and painted. Lousy job, texture and paint on the chair rail and base boards. We are fixing the paint job ourselves!! I have 2 more bathrooms to remodel and I will not be calling this company for the job.

Great service very happy with the outcome of everything , glad I went with these workers very happy about it .

I made two appointments and they didn't show for either of them. No follow up.

I had an excellent experience with this company. I had tried other handymen companies and either they were overpriced or who they sent I did not feel comfortable with. A couple of companies gave me prices without seeing the work that had to be done. Bob the handyman showed up on time and was quite comfortable to work with. He gave me an estimate and once I agreed, he went right to work on the items. He was very professional, courteous and able to repair all the items. One item required additional work and he gladly came back to work on it some more. While I recognize that a good handyman is difficult to find and can be expensive, I found that working with this company was worth it since others were charging me comparable prices and their response to my calls were not prompt or they sent someone that I did not feel comfortable with. With the assortment of items and Bob having to go to Home Depot for materials, it took all day--but well worth it!

I was somewhat put-off by their stated policy of starting the job at the time of the estimate (if accepted). If you want an estimate from this company and want to compare with others, it would be best to schedule this estimate last. I was told that they "didn't have time to drive all over town providing free estimates". How, then, is a consumer to compare and choose the best provider? They want to lock you in, obviously. In his defense, the owner did oblige me and send out his estimator without making me commit to the work right then. I had pending vacation time to take and wanted to pick the company and schedule the work to begin a certain day. It worked-out. I assisted throughout, so it was finished way early. They got a good hourly rate as a result, and I got it done faster. Mark, the worker, is a super-nice guy and great to work with. I was pleased enough to immediately hire the company (requesting Mark) for more work. Unfortunately, I had a different experience (next review).

The job itself went fine. The mistake I made was handing over the check before it was finished. There was just an hour's worth of work to do, filling in some low spots with leveling concrete...I was assured by Mark, as I was handing him the check, that he would be back to wrap it up - just call to schedule. I did that, spoke to him, and he was supposed to call me regarding a few days we picked-out. He never called back. I called and left him a message. Nothing. I then emailed the owner: "Hello Mike, Mark was supposed to come by and finish my patio (one more bag of leveling cement to fill-in a few low areas). We agreed on this when I handed him the check. The first time I called him within a week after that, we spoke about a few possible mornings that he could do it, and he was going to call me beforehand. Those days came and went. I have since left a message, but he has not returned it. Can you set this up for me? I want to paint the patio floor, but cannot until the cement is done and cured. Thanks." He responded a week later: "I apologize for the late response. I missed your e-mail. I'll coordinate with Mark and let you know when he'll take care of it." Another week went by. Nothing. I sent another email stating that I was still waiting. To this day (almost a month later), I have heard nothing from anyone. Seriously? I am speechless. The job was finished two hours under the bid. Even if it was completed , it still would have been more profitable than what it was bid for, which was a healthy $60 an hour. Unbelievable. Here I am waiting to paint/coat the porch for the 4th of July party I had planned, and could not do it because they would not finish it. DO NOT EVER PAY UNTIL IT IS COMPLETE is the lesson here, no matter how nice and "professional" they seem.

my second experience with this contractor - the first good experience led me to give them this job without bidding - a little confusion at the start over the window provider but once work got started they are punctual, clean and respectful - the project came out well and how I had hoped it would look - but there was a mix up at the end on the ceiling fans for all things - and I thought management was slightly overbearing on a client; particularly a repeat client - I had to finalize the ceiling fans myself - but overall, their work is good and punctual so that does tend to out weigh some relatively minor lack of client service

It went great. After my last two experiences of not being able to get anyone out here, I was about to give up on handyman services. The work was done well, very easy to work with and most importantly, I was kept in the loop on when he would be here. I wish I had tried them first, but the Angie's List listing of a Winter Park address threw me. It was not clear until I looked closer that they had services in the Clearwater/Palm Harbor area. I highly recommend this company for any work you may need and I plan on using them again when we move into our new house in south Pinellas.

This was a $240 big deal purchase. It was fine. He did not finish some painting on the rental house that he said he would do, but he said he would come back if he could. He did not say definitely, he said if he could. He did not come back, but it would have been nice if he could have. He did everything for the rental house and our house on the same day. The big deal was used pretty soon after I got it. He did not have to buy anything. I already had the paint and what he needed for the fence. I also had the sink. He was able to use the materials I had already. I think it would have been preferable for him to say that he would not be able to do all of the projects at the same time because he did not finish painting the fence. I would have preferred him to say that and not have been told that he might come back and then he didn't. I thought it was a fair price. What he did do he did okay. Initially he came on time and did the work that I asked him to do, he just did not come back to do a little bit of that painting. He was professional.

They were AMAZING. They have done at least 2 sets of projects for us, and are scheduled to come back.

They completed a total renovation of a 40 SF guest bathroom. The house was built 30 years ago and this bathroom had never been updated. They showed up right on time for the first appointment to discuss what I wanted done. I had a quote in a few days and clear instructions on what I needed to provide vs. what they would provide. Once I decided to go with My Handy Craftsman for the project, they started within 1 week. The total project took 5 days to complete. They showed up on time every day, were very professional and kept me in the loop on current progress and the plan for the next days work. In the end, I had a great new bathroom that came in right on budget with the quote they provided.

They were very professional and respectful. Made sure everything was working and boxed up the trash.

The carpenter, Paul, was very personable and knowledgeable. I could tell from the beginning that he was confident and could handle the job and had experience doing this sort of repair. We had redone this porch 29 years ago in cedar. This time it was done much better than 29 years ago. The porch is 12 x 24 and had ten 4 x 4 posts with cedar ledges. It looks good. We purchased the materials ourselves. We ordered the cedar from Buck Lumber in Longwood and purchased the stain at Home Depot. I felt that the price for very fair due to the work involved. I would recommend this company and I would hire them again.

This is the second time that we used this company and we will call them again next month. The eaves over the front of the house needed to be painted and Bob did a great job. We needed spackling in the bathroom, light bulbs changed out in the kitchen and a heavy clock hung in the den. Also, Bob assembled a new umbrella for out patio table.

He had to modify the placement of the handle used to open the doors plus shortem the doors to allow for flooring. Her also repained the doors.

I couldn't say enough good things about Michael and Paul. My husband was a track home builder, over 10,000 homes in the Central Florida area. He has a high expectations of a job and he thought the work they did was over the top!!
