Cutting Edge Landscape

Do not bother calling Cutting Edge Landscaping. He called back promptly after I left a phone message. An appointment was made for the next day at which he arrived promptly, even calling to say he would be 15 min. late. He discussed a plan for our landscaping with my husband and said he would like to come back and review his plan. We have not heard from him yet and it has been 3 weeks since he came to our home. He could at least called to say he was not interested in doing the job !

It is Michael Taylor that we use. He does a good job with the lawn and also the sprinkler system. I would grade him all 'A's on all of the categories.

Based on the reviews posted, I contacted this company for some clean-up that I needed and depending on how that went, possibly an ongoing maintenance. I called and left a message, waited several days. When I didn't receive a call back, I called again and left another message. I again didn't receive a call back. I then chose a different company to deal with. It is very unprofessional to not even return a message, if only to say you are too busy to accept new business.

After arriving at my home he immediately informed me he would not be able to do any work unless we had another place to park. He did not trust his guys to back into the road. So, he left. We live off a busy road however we have a long driveway with a large parking/turnaround pad. No business has EVER responded that way. There are tons of homes along the road which almost all have services of somesort done weekly. It was an odd interaction.

Did a great job, Michael was able to squeeze this large project into his already busy schedule in a timely manner. Yard looks very nice.

Service not completed due to my uncertainty of whether to remove an existing brick area.

Michael and his crew did a great job. The front lawn looks great and Michael was very thorough in inspecting the work to make sure if was done to his satisfaction. Michael was very easy to get in contact with and answered all of my questions. I will definitely use him again in the future.

How can a business person just ignore a potential customer by not at least providing some explanation of why their company cannot do the work or does not want to do the work? If he had said that after considering the project he could not schedule it for several months or that he didn't think he was the right fit for this project, I would understand (although my requirements were quite routine). But to not contact me at all with any explanation or excuse is just rude.

The job is going well. They come every other month. They fumigate and fertilize. It is a very personalized business. Every time Michael comes we talk like we are friends. He wants to make sure I am happy with his work.

The owner was very good about communicating with me and updating me on what they were doing. He took the time to explain the different kinds of plants that they were putting in and how things work. I was very happy with what he did and he was very professional.
