Description of Work: Coil tension spring in our garage door broke. Richie McLellan the owner came in just a few hours and installed two new springs. He also lubricated everything, which was not part of the service call, but he said he thought it needed it so went ahead and did it...at no extra charge. Ever since, door has been better than when we bought the house in 2005.

Description of Work: Replaced rollers on garage door, lubricated hinges and adjusted door travel

Description of Work: They explained the problem. They fixed the problem. They provided a lot of info that will allow me to, perhaps, take care of the little glitches myself and avoid unnecessary labor costs. Very trustworthy fellows.

Description of Work: |The $39.00 you pay is for somebody to show up nothing more. |Summary of service: Time at location 15 minutes, actual labor 5 minutes; Total cost $69 value added minimal to none, technician uncooperative, RATING: C to F | |I had few tune ups over the year which lasted a good half hour where all the parts were carefully inspected, cleaned and greased and new parts installed on the chain which I provided or paid for. For the tune up I never paid more than $40. This is why I bought this offer. The current "tune up" was nothing of that. | |The tech came three hours late. In the meantime I opened the garage door and took off the sliding and limit switches since I planned to put new ones which I had on hand. I could easily replaced the old with the new something I did many times and it is a 5 min job, but I decided to wait until he comes. | |When the tech arrived he appeared uncomfortable and uncooperative. He said you paid for something very very basic. I asked him what I paid for then. He said to make the door move better. He kept looking around and said that he want additonal $30.00 without giving any reason. At this point I felt I have no other choice and seeing that he is uncomfortable and probably due not getting all the $39.00, I agreed. |All what he did is to put back the parts on the chain and asked his assistant to spay some lubricant which was no more than a spray in the air towards the open door. I questioned why I have to pay him more but seeing that he is becoming more uncomfortable, I decided to pay him cash as he requested and share the experience

Description of Work: Purchased thru angies list for garage door spring replacement for $200, the standard price from most places. The guy tried to up sell me for other stuff, I declined and he became very insultive. It's been awhile and the date of service may be off.

Description of Work: Replaced garage door springs. An overall good experience. Gave time frame from 11am-1pm but didn't show till after 2 pm. Was apologetic and replaced a noisy Bearing at no cost due to being late. Good price for service.
