They overcharged me. The garage door is working. They should've charged $39 like they said they're going to do. That would have been the "A" grade for me like they advertised.

I called in the morning, they were able to give me a service window that same day. Arrived within the window, did an evaluation and got to work. Very personable and professional and did a great job. I thought the price was reasonable and they honoured an Angie's List coupon even though I hadn't booked through the site.

It went well he gave me some give advice and made a minor adjustment. I would use him in the future.

Rich is fantastic. He provided us with multiple options for style and cost. Given that we are a coastal home we made the choice to go with a higher rated door, and a step up on the motor. It's a decision we did not regret. This door is a dream, quiet, smooth operation, and state of the art openers, along with external key pad. We have had not one issue, and are confident that Rich backs up all his work. If you need a repair or considering a new door. You will not go wrong using Bayside Garage Doors.

My garage door was not closing or opening properly. The tech determined the wiring was the issue. He repaired all the connections and the garage door works like new.

Vendor performed maintenance on garage door and found broken spring. Replaced spring and lubed everything up. Great work.

Around Feb 1 I had Richie with Bayside Garage Doors come out and install my new insulated and automatic garage door and opener. Him and his partner did the work quickly, and they were very professional. They were a little late that day but Richie had called me ahead of time to let me know what had happened. I work from home so this was not an issue with me. When they did get there they immediately got to work. When they were done he pointed out the seal around the door was starting to go bad and he could replace it for me. Since I was very happy with the new door, I agreed to let him do the seal and we scheduled another time for him to come out. We did have a bit of a snafu with the inspector when they came out for the final inspection but Richie did get it taken care of within a few days and when he came out to do the seal he addressed the issue that the inspector brought up. When the inspector showed up again for the second final inspection, everything was good to go. I really appreciated the job that Richie did and I LOVE my new garage door! I would DEFINITELY hire Bayside Garage Doors again and have started recommending them to my friends.

It went really well until yesterday when the door start only going half up and half down! I got a hold of them and it would just great! Apparently; a shadow going in front of the laser would set it off. It works fine now and they did a good job!

I had a garage door opener installed by Bayside on 2/22/2015. My Liftmaster came with a mfg warranty of one year. Last week my garage door would not stay closed. We called Richie on a Friday afternoon and he said he would return my call when he got back to the office so he could try some trouble shooting. He returned my call as he said and the trouble shooting did not work. We made an appointment for Tuesday morning to come out and have it services. He called 30 minutes before arriving and attempted to repair the opener. It was a mfg defect, so he had to get a whole new opener to have it installed. While he was there we discussed my main garage door opener that is 10 years old. I told him it was loud and looking to have it replaced. We rescheduled to have both openers installed on Thursday and both are working perfectly. Richie did a few minor repairs and tune up when we first purchased our house and we will continue to use Bayside, even though we have a home warranty that covers our garage door repairs we always choose him. He is on time, professional, does great work and stands behind his work!

I have had a lot of service people at my house over the years and Richard McLellan is the BEST! My garage door broke on a Sunday morning - I sent an email to him and he responded the same day (Sunday- blew me away) - he set an appointment and showed up on time. We looked over the door and decided to replace it - instead of leaving me without a working garage door he repaired an unrepairable door to hold me until he could get back with the new one. He set an appointment for today - showed up right on time - his helper and him worked really hard - what impressed me most was the cleanup of the area, they took the time to show me how to perform maintenance. I would recommend this company to anyone - I plan on telling everyone I know that they are great! Thank you for an excellent job! John Cathcart

They were on time and had the garage door working again within about 45mins.

Opener working as expected now. Informed me that if new board fails within 15 days, they will credit a portion of today's cost toward a replacement unit.

It went fine. They had to come out several times to get the house done just because they were not very thorough. Their price was good.

Everything went fine. They came out when they were suppose to. They got the garage door working again. Everything got fixed that is suppose to and they did a good job. It was probably 6 months ago, I didn't deal with them, my wife did, As far as I can remember there was nothing negative about the experience. We would use them again in the future. My wife seem impressed with their knowledge about garage doors.

What bothered us though was that he suggested that we upgrade our springs and rollers and stuff, and the thing was that when we have upgraded our garage door for hurricane proof, they had no springs and rollers so we don't need new springs and rollers. That made me think that I might not want to call them again. There was nothing wrong with what they did, it was just that it kind of upset me that they would do that. I expected people to be more honest. I'm sure the price was fine. They came when they said they would. I don't think I would call them again. They certainly wouldn't be the first people to call. I would probably call Precision that had upgraded the door for the hurricane. I'm not sure why we called them, I don't remember.

It was fine. It was a good experience. You have to replace both springs even if one goes bad. I graded them a B because I didn't find out about the spring part until they were actually there, that you have to replace both of them. Responsiveness was an A because it was done that day.

The door opened smoothly not as noisy. Recommended new door which I agree I needed. Provided me with quote on site. I really appreciated this.

I bought a tune-up on Angie's List for $39 (value of $79). but that did not include any parts or repairs that might be needed. This was all made clear in the ad and on the phone before they arrived. But it was a bit more expensive in the end to fix it than I had anticipated. The technician who did it all was great and it was working well when he left. My only hesitation is that this was misleading to say $39 for a tune-up. Still, I am very happy that the whole thing could be repaired to the place where it works pretty well again.
