Their prices are excellent. They have a good record, I will be very comfortable doing business with them. They are a larger provider, they have more work going on. I feel very comfortable with the gentleman that came, the services they offer and all the brochures he brought. He was very professional. The price was good.

We had owner give us 3 different estimates with different paver configurations. Estimate was not a detailed diagram of what we wanted done. Number of pavers ordered was for wrong estimate. Not enough to have done what we wanted. When I called the owner (worker did not speak English) he said it was because I changed my mind too many times. It would cost more to correct the error. Decided not to extend the time involved and additional cost to correct the error.

This is the third time I have had them come to our home.Each visit they did excellent work for the pool. Resurfaceing the pool interior (about 6 men came for that job)-connecting the pool filter(Brian)-Replaceing the skimmer(Brian) A great staff of professionals. Would have them back anytime.

Marty and his crew are the best. Marty was very patient with us on ALL the question with the design and decision making process. He made our out dated plain in-ground pool that we inherited with the purchase of our home, a beautiful extension of our needs and style. Our patio was extended from 19 x 30 to 19 x 50 with travertine stone and a fire pit. They also built up the back of our pool with stone and a rain waterfall, as well as adding new design features to the pool that enhanced a modern look to it. Marty's crew was a great group of very nice, professional, hard working and punctual guys. Could not have asked for a better, hassle free, stress free, renovation experience.

The experience and work performed were all excellent. I di d receive cheaper quotes for the work, but I also received more expensive ones. He gave an awesome quote and they're such a great company. I would definitely recommend them. I got the quote recently. I got 6 quotes from a bunch of different people and his was the best. He was very knowledgeable, been in the business for a long time and he told me what product would be the best.

They are excellent. They had to replace somethings, so I had to pay extra. The part was about $500. They are very professional and very efficient. They are very knowledgeable and they do a good job. I will use them again.

The overall heater replacement went great. The project was completed in one day, it included replacing the intake gas pipe, removing the old heater, installing the new heater to current code and showing us how to use the new equipment. The guys were about an hours later than scheduled, but still completed the job that day without any problem. Both were very professional and it was clear that they took pride in their work. Afterwards they cleaned up everything including rinsing off the driveway and painted some of the PVC pipes to make everything look nicer. Initially the price seemed a little high, but after seeing everything they did I think it was worth the money. I would definitely call them for any future pool repairs.

The initial installation didn't go well, the rail would swivel in the ground. Called Blue Horizon and they immediately sent someone out to re-do the install and now its perfect. There was no hassle, they were quick to respond, liked doing business with them.

Arrived on date scheduled though there was no call the previous Friday to re-confirm or advise time of arriv. Pool emptied, surface sanded, back porch had dust blown out - though tiled floor needed to be washed down. Second day team arrived, and started next step of applying materials. Third day work continued with water being added. Pool tech advised problem with filter pump. New pump purchased at local pool supply and tech installed it at additional cost. Noticed inadequate amount of material applied to edge of pool steps, team had to return to fix while re-emptying some of the 13,500 gallons of water. Pool tech returned two more times to recheck pool water and added necessary chemicals to balance water. Left detailed instructions on testing pool water, cleaning filter, caution about not going into pool for 2 weeks. Answered any and all questions as they came up. Overall, very happy with way team handled job. Received letter for water company reflecting the job and how much water was utilized. Side disappointment - really should re-confirm appt's Friday before, and workers should ask how to turn on/off any equipment - water hoses. Their failure to ask where and how to turn on faucet for hose caused them to play around with irrigation system which in turn caused us to call irrigation system company to come and re-program sprinklers. Accepted Angie's List coupon for $150 discount.

It was a 3 day process. Day 1 drain and patch the pool. day 2 resurface process. Day 3 Diamond brite application and begin refill.Pool looks great, I followed their step by step instructions including taking a receipt to the water company to minimize our cost to refill the pool.

I had set up the equipment pool valves in the wrong direction and was having water draining from the spa into the pool. Kevin assed the equipment set up and promptly determined the problem. He went ahead and adjusted the valves to their proper position to ensure water flow was balanced throughout the system. Along the way, he noticed I had change some spa jets with the wrong part producing some water restriction and causing water drainage. Kevin replaced the parts with the correct jets. In addition he labeled all the valves and provided easy to understand instructions on the set up and maintenance of equipment. The level of service received was beyond my expectations. Kevin was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and sincere. My hat off to Kevin and his attention to detail and outstanding customer service. I would use their services again and maybe have them install a heater for the spa.

THE SERVICEMAN (BRYAN) ARRIVED BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT TIME. HE INTRODUCED HIMSELF ASKED FOR A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM AND SET TO WORK. WITHIN 5 MINUTES HE WAS BACK WITH AN ESTIMATE. I ASKED ALSO THAT THE AUTO TIMER BE REPLACED, HIS RESPONSE "CAN DO". ALL THE WORK WAS COMPLETED; THEN HE SHOWED . ME WHAT HAD BEEN ACCOMPLISHED. HE ALSO REPOSITIONED (ROTATED 90 DEGREES) THE PUMP MOTOR (AT NO CHARGE) WHICH HAD BEEN INSTALLED INCORRECTLY BY THE PREVIOUS INDIVIDUAL REPAIRMAN. THE WORK WAS INSPECTED BY MYSELF AND SIGNED OFF AS COMPLETED. HE EXPLAINED THAT HE HAD MISQUOTED THE COST OF PARTS AS BEING TOO LOW, BUT SINCE HE QUOTED THAT AS THE PRICE THAT'S WHAT HE CHARGED. I WAS SHOCKED AT THE PRICE, BECAUSE I WAS EXPECTING THE COST TO BE AT LEAST DOUBLE . WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE! THE PARTS, LABOR AND SERVICE CALL WERE ALL INCLUSIVE; NO UNEXPECTED ADDITIONAL LABOR CHARGES. I WOULD RECOMMEND BLUE HORIZONS TO EVERYONE AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN AS NEEDED. Scheduled a pool school service with the company based off Angie's List recommendations. The company representative, Kevin, was on time and very knowledgable. The session lasted about an hour. He answered lots of questions and made sure I understood everything we went over. I feel that I got what I paid for and was happy with the service.

Received estimate for pool resurfacing and installation of pavers over acrylic deck. They were very prompt and professional and I will be in touch with them to do the job.

All of the employees were punctual and very hard workers. They did an excellent job in every way. Always on time and cleaned up the job site daily. The people who work for this company are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone needing any type of pool maintenance.
