The new wiring works as expected and the overall end result is OK. However the drywall patching (where the electrician made cuts) is not satisfactory. The drywall patches are loose, not at the same level as the rest of the drywall, and the gaps are not plastered. (Fortunately, we will hire a professional drywall company to do work in the home, but redoing the patchwork that the electrician did will cost extra.) Also, the electrician did not clean sufficiently well before he left the jobsite even though I provided a ShopVac and a large plastic bag into which he could have placed debris. He left crumbs of drywall and ends of wires on the floor.
