On time, professional, got the job done helpful

I contacted Mister Sparky to obtain a quote to move a Water Heater from our Utility room to our Garage. I was asked by the person on the phone if I was getting other bids and I said that I was. I was than informed that Mister Sparky sends out a licensed electrician who is ready to perform the work to give the bid. I was told that I would have to pay 59.00 for the bid. This is very unprofessional and a terrible business practice. I have called around to plenty of organizations to get bids to do work at my home, electrical, plumbing, ceiling work etc. Never have I been asked to pay for the bid. Shopping around gives me an opportunity to ensure I am getting fair price for the work I am asking to be completed, and gives me opportunity to perform more in depth research of the company I am considering. The professionalism of the person providing the quote goes to my decision as well, how they present themselves etc. This was a terrible experience and I am not planning on doing business with this organization again.

He was very thorough and explained in great detail in order to understand who and what needed to be done to correct the situation. This was very helpful to determine whether to go through with the purchase or not.

Early for appointment (good). Quick diagnosis, prompt effective change to new switch. Lights are now performing again.

Henry arrived and began to check out the situation. In 30 years of owning my home, he was an excellent and most patient service man ever. The work was great and I'll use him again.

Henry (electrician) arrived on time. Looked at the installation, recommended safety features which were needed, installed new fan. Did excellent work - very professional. Mister Sparky is lucky to have him.

Very professional, clean, respectful, arrived at the expected time and cleaned up after finished. Offered to install a surge protector ( made me think of my car at the dealer where they recommend "an engine flushing") and do the job for $ 1,000. Angie's List $49 service call coupon was ignored and he gave us a $40 discount (10%) as members (so why did I bother buy the coupon the day before?) Although very professional and efficient, you decide if $400 for connecting and hanging a small light fixture and changing 2 outlets is a fair price.

Everything went very good. Explained all the process and pricing. Completed the work on same day.

I called to schedule an inspection. Ismael, who answered would not even advise if they had a fee or provide any kind of rough pricing of what an inspection may cost until he spoke with the homeowner (I am a real estate agent). I understand the electrical company needing to speak with the homeowner in order to step foot on the property, however it should not be necessary for a 'rough' quote or to even advise if there is a fee to come out. I asked why and Ismael hung up on me. Very unprofessional.

The Mr Sparky team was awesome - their customer service and work effort we great. They explained what they were doing before the did the work, cleaned up as they worked and were very knowledgable. Definitely highly recommend and would use them again.

Really poor quality of work. I called to have an electrician come out to hang up 2 new chandeliers on 30 foot ceiling and replace 2 fans, which I specified when calling in. When the electrician showed up, he said he didn't even know about the chandeliers and was not prepared for this type of work. I asked him to hang up at least one fan so at least something was accomplished. Coming home and inspecting his work, I noted dirty ceiling around the fan area, loose pieces of wires on the floor, the fan spinning the wrong way, the mount not flush with the ceiling, and the fan wobbly when spinning. I'm afraid this fan will drop on my head. I will never go back to this company and would not recommend it to anyone. I will be calling after the holidays to see if they resolve these problems and will follow up on my review.

The tech did nothing but apologize for the appointment setter. He then tried to sell me a whole house electrical surge suppression system about which I expressed no interest. He then requested a $29 fee for showing up. While I do not fault the tech for the poor service via their appointment desk, there were no services rendered and thus no service fee should have been charged. The appointment setter did NOT listen to my specific requests for service, rather seemed only eager to get a tech out and collect a fee.

Clay was awesome. He worked late into the night to get the job finished. He always called 30 minutes before arriving and never said "no" to a request we had before he checked all possible options. Clay was extremely professional and took pride in his work to make sure it was done right. Mister Sparky is now our official electricians.

David was very polite and professional. He explained everything he was doing and offered options. Would definitely use them again.

The 2 electricians (one in training) were on time and promptly got to work. They made sure I had adequate support for the fan. The team was efficient, polite, and professional. They made sure everything was working before leaving. They even took the box waste with them. By chance a light switch broke during their visit. They easily installed a new one.

It upset me because he said I had safety hazards in the house. My tenant was there while he was talking. I said I don't appreciate you saying this so loud when I know this isn't correct.

The work from Mister Sparky Electric was good, they are a little expensive but the work is good. They did a good work. They can improve on the price. They need to work on their pricing for me to use their services again.

The service from Mister Sparky Electric turned out great. They did a wonderful job. They did good work. They are on the high side money wise. The guy was really nice and did a great job and I watched them as I do some electric myself. The responsiveness was good. I would use this company again if I had to do something major. They could have had a cheaper price to get an 'A' rating from me.

They came out but they did not do work for us because their pricing was outrageously expensive. The man that came out quoted us a very, very high price and the work turned out it didn't need to be done. Also he pulled the used car salesman routine, "Well, here let me call my manager and see if I'll be reducing the price." So he calls the guy and all of a sudden reduces the price quite a bit although it was still outrageously high. We had a guy come in the next day and it was totally in line with the other quotes we had and Mister Sparky had quoted just more than twice as much as anyone else had quoted. Between that and the guy that came out he was very slippery and it was a very bad experience and we had told people, "Don't ever use them." He had quoted us originally $4700 and we had it done for $1400 and he quoted us like three different levels and the company that did it for $1400 did what he quoted us $4700 for. He was just kind of vague. We will never use Mister Sparky again. They responded quickly.

They were pretty good. The cost could be improved on.
