I had them install a faucet for my parents. It was a Christmas present. They held everything for me until the holiday and then contacted my parents for scheduling after the holiday. They were really great with that. They completed the job in about an hour and half and cleaned up well. The only additional costs were for some parts not included in the deal. Everything was great. They were wonderful overall.

Arrived a little late but it was no big deal because I was home all day. Took them less than one hour to do the work. Technician was friendly and very competent. Did a good job.

I have used them for about forty years and they have been very good. They are able to handle anything that you need done regarding plumbing. I did a bathroom remodel and they did the installation on the tub and the fixtures in the bathroom-that came out really well. They replaced my water heater- that came out well too. They also installed a water softener.

Work was completed quickly and the tech provided some helpful instructions on what to do when disposal stops working.

They were great. They very good. They were prompt and did a good job.

We were given an arrival time of 9-12 on a Friday for the plumber. He actually arrived about 8:40 and we were not at home, so he had to wait. After evaluating the work to be done, he announced that it would be difficult, time consuming and very expensive to bring the plumbing up to code, and that he could not do it that day. He did not recommend the replacement tub/shower combo that we had purchased, that would fit the existing plumbing, and so we returned it to the store. He checked his schedule and said that he would return on Tuesday. On Monday the office called and said that he was booked and would need to come on Wednesday. However, a different person came on Wednesday. The work in fact consumed six hours and the plumber had to work in a cramped space. Near the end of his work he sent for another part, and this apparently is the reason we received a $5.00 service charge. The large oval plate that now covers the shower supply lines was too large, and we did not discover the plumber's solution to the problem until he had left. He cut out the bottom part of the oval to fit over the faucet, and caulked it. I do not know if there was a different solution, that would not require damaging the oval. He also reversed the hot and cold water, which he acknowledged, and apparently was intending to leave it that way, but agreed to change it when I objected. The plumber was friendly and cleaned up after himself.

I feel like an old lady saying this but there's no other way to say it: what a nice young man!! He was clean-cut, courteous, professional, nice to our dog but not distracted by him. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it while educating us about disposals without being boring.

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this company. I only wish I would have called them in the first place. I employed a different plumbing company, previously in the week, to come to my home to unclog the drain. The plumber McGill sent out was top notch, to say the very least. He took the time to explain things to us in laymen terms regarding the intricate details of 1951 plumbing in our house. He snaked the drain all the way to the public street ( like the first plumber I had to call 2 different times in this same week, to unclog the same drain, should have done), and resolved our issue for good. BEST PLUMBER EVER! I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER! THANK YOU MCGILL PLUMBING! I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU GIVE THEM A CHANCE AT YOUR JOB!!!

Came out quickly and did a great job. I rated them wrong initially as it was intended for another provider. Great service, sorry for the mix-up thanks for the work!

Scheduling was fine and they were able to come out within three or four days of purchasing the deal. The job took less than an hour to be completed. By the time I had paid for the deal and the parts, I thought the price was a little high. In the future, I may call the company out directly instead of purchasing a deal in advance. The service was good and the technician was fine. He cleaned up any mess after taking care of the problem. I haven’t had any troubles with it. Everything went well overall.

We bought the deal. They came out as promised and explained processes. We ended up paying a little extra for some parts, but that was made clear at the beginning. We needed some electric work done, he referred us to another provider for that and they worked together to make the needed repairs and changes.

The plumbers came out the same day I called and went straight to work repairing an underground pipe which had come apart, sending my water bill into orbit . They were able to go in on an angle to replace the fitting without any damage to the foundation or sidewalk around it. Rather, they dug a portion of the garden, made the necessary repairs, then even put the garden back together and swept around the affected area, completing the job in two hours. How do you top that?

All work done by Chris and under estimated coast with me providing the major parts. Chris was punctual and efficient with his time, he was done within about 90-mins. I highly recommend Mc Gill for all your plumbing needs. Out of four services I received bids from,, Mc Gill was the best overall.

I panicked when both toilets would not flush and called McGill Plumbing at about 12:30 p.m. not thinking someone could come out that same day. Not only did they come out the same day, they were there 45 minutes later. The technician, Ernie, cleared the sewer pipes by running hot water in the sink and the tub and cleared the clog. He explained that the type of toilet tissue used could cause the tissue to tumble and not dissolve as it is supposed to do and gave me the name of an alternate tissue to use. He also fixed the shower faucet. He was very professional and courteous and I would definitely recommend McGill Plumbing to anyone in this area!

We found a water trail in our garage coming from the water heater, the unit was about 10 yrs. old, water never got very hot, so we were not surprised it finally died. We bought the home 1 yr. ago, so we inherited the old heater. We called McGill and they came out in about an hour with a unit to fit our needs. They asked questions on the phone, so they knew what to bring. The service person was fast and efficient. We now have consistent and plentiful hot water. We would recommend McGill and would use them again.

Outstanding service. I had what I thought would be a routine repair and ran into some "self inflicted" trouble that damaged the plumbing. It was a Sunday about noon. I called a national co I have used and did not get a call back. I used Angies List and found McGill. They answered the phone and had a tech in my driveway in an hour. Some additional but vital issues were discovered that would have been a disaster down the road had the tech tried to to rush the job. McGill is my new plumber. Also, my tech was James W who was a true professional. Thanks very much!

I was greeted by Ernie the technician right at 9am when my appointment was from 9am-noon. He was very professional and very helpful. He listened to the problem I had and asked further questions to help him get a better idea of what he needed to do. We had already turned off the water and pulled the toilet from the setting, so it made it easier for him to look. He immediately saw that we had a crack in the plastic ring around the drain pipe going into the floor. He explained the problem and how to fix it. He reinforced the area with spaner flag's and aligned them. He then applied the wax ring and reinstalled the toilet and grouted to the floor for us. He was very efficient and completed the task in about 1 hour. I would definitely recommend McGill plumbing to my friends.

Pretty terrible - still have not heard back about our quote. We had Ray from McGill Plumbing come out to give us a quote/estimate on a bathroom shower plumning issue. He came out within the four hour window and said he needed to go back to the office to prepare a quote. Two weeks have gone by, we have called at least 5 times and left multiples messages and still have no received a quote. We ultimately went ahead and picked a different plumber, because these people couldnt even bother to call us back or provide a quote. You would think that after sending someone out there to assess the work that they would at least respond with an estimate.

It went great. They showed me how to replace the cartridge myself for the next time this happens.

Years ago, I'd go with my dad to merchants for products and service. They were always courteous and helpful. Everything didn't come pre-packaged, on the shelf; some things had to be fixed by hand. I'm 68 and it's been years since I had many similar experiences before I happened upon McGill's on my way to a chain supplier. I thought I could just buy a new faucet but my house was built in 1925 and the plumbing was done years ago. It was explained that if the old faucet could not be rebuilt, I'd have to have new pipes installed. The employee worked close to an hour, searching for old parts in the store and rebuilding the faucet. I was ready to pay $30 or more, considering the labor time spent but when he said it would be "a couple of dollars" I was too embarrassed to just give him $2 so I gave him $10 and considered it a real deal. And, it worked fine! Probably will last longer than a new one would have. What a great experience.

Great will use all the time now for plumbing

Leak was discovered and I looked on Angies List, found a plumber and made an appointment. Due to the holiday they were unable to effect the repair until Friday. Original appointment scheduled for Friday, November 28 when an opening became available for Wednesday, November 26. We received a call stating they had an opening and could be at our home at nine o'clock AM. He arrived, made the repair and left. The plumber was efficient and neat. He made the repair and left. Very good service and we would use them again without question.

Arrived on time and completed the work in a professional manner. Also, answered some miscellaneous plumbing questions I had about other areas of the house. After the technician left the faucet that was replaced was still leaking and McGill was quick to send out another technician who fixed the leak. Very pleased with the responsiveness of this company and their office staff. Would have given A on quality if they didn't have to come out the 2nd time to fix the leaky faucet.

Everything was perfect. Called first, was on time. Did a great job and cleaned everything up. Good price great service. Thank you.
