Description of Work: Very Prompt and professional hard working team. My hardwood floors were previously cleaned improperly, a urethane based product had been applied poorly with dust embedded in it. Once this hardened I was unable to remove the embedded grit. This team was able to remove the gritty overcoat and restore the finish to it's original beauty and shine. Without sanding! I had 2 rooms done and I plan to have them come back to do more rooms.

 + 0 more. We just bought this home and there were stains we thought would never come out. Rather than replace the carpets, we took the chance on having them cleaned. The price was good. The carpets came out looking like new. The also gave a demonstrations on the grout cleaning they provide. We were impressed.

She set me up for 9 am on Friday. Guess what they showed up at 9 am on Friday!! Both very professional and the floor and chair came out excellent. I would have them back and/or recommend them. Got 10% off because I am an Angies List member!

 + 0 moreThe actual job was excellent ----- but ---------- the company needs a little help in the area of preparedness --- bring a broom --- bring a shop vac --- bring trash bags --- prep the room a little better and our cleanup was easy but there was a lot of it. Because of this I dinged them a bit on professionalism -- but I really think there should be a separate category on preparation and cleanup. Thee people were nice and knew what they were doing but they were a bit sloppy that's all. I can see my face in the floor (and no -- it didn't crack)

 + 1 moreThis company will get your floors and tile clean!! We had them previously clean carpets and the results were amazing. They cleaned our ceramic tile floor and restored the filthy grout to a brand new look. They cleaned and regrouted the tile in our shower and it also looked totally brand new. They spent an entire day on a Saturday and did not leave until the job was finished in the evening. They are totally worth the price.

 + 0 moreThey owner does not use a receptionist, he takes all calls himself. When he wrote up the initial invoice it did not include 2 bathrooms, only one. While the workers were in the home I stayed up stairs with my cats, and had just had surgery. After they completed the work we realized that one bathroom had not been cleaned. They did have to return to complete the second bathroom. They could benefit from a receptionist who would correctly write up the orders. It would have been nice to receive an appology from the owner for the error and the inconvenience it caused. He simply called to say they would be back to do the other bathroom. The cleaning of the floors and carpets was superior! They workers themselves were great and they did a good job.
Description of Work: They were hired to clean the ceramic tile and seal the grout in my kitchen and 2 bathrooms. They also cleaned 3 large area rugs. I also had the bathroom shower tile cleaned and re-grouted.

Description of Work: Floor Cleaning Experts cleaned and sealed the grout in our great room, kitchen, entry, and baths. FCE also cleaned the carpets in our bedrooms. The price quoted was $1.00 per square foot for the grout and $.50 per square foot for the carpets. FCE was scheduled to arrive at our house at 9:00 a.m., but because of a truck maintenance issue, the techs were more than two hours late. We understand that truck problems can affect anyone, but we wish that FCE had kept us better informed about the delay. The crew performed well and worked hard throughout the day. Both members of the crew were very professional. The quality of work was good. There were a few areas that needed recleaing, and Mr. Workman, FCE"s owner, came out himself to do the follow up cleaning. Mr. Workman obviously is committed to customer satisfaction. We are pleased with the result. Our chief reservation about FCE is the expense. We didn't seek other quotes, so FCE's pricing might well be in line with that of other contractors. We have used Stanley Steemer in Indiana for both grout cleaning and carpet cleaning, and the quality of FCE's work is much higher. So, the value might well be there.

 + 0 moreThey did a marvelous job. They made my floors look like new. They were courteous, responsible, and showed up on time. They even called first to tell me they were on their way. They had some helpful suggestions on what my cleaning lady could do to make my floors look they way they do now. They were just excellent in every respect. I would certainly have them again. I feel that they saved me money because I was not going to do my tile floors in my bathroom, but they told me they could make them look like new and they said if I let them clean the floors then I wouldn't have to pay for another service call if I called them back later.
Description of Work: They did every floor in my house. They cleaned all the grout from the tile floor, sealed the tile floor, and cleaned all my carpets. They were here from 9:15am to 6:15pm.

 + -1 moreTom Workman's company is very professional. Tom came out, assessed the floor and told us how his people would remedy it. We were able to schedule it for the following week. Initially, it was thought the project would be 2-3 days. It ended up taking four full days. The team removed our furniture, ground, cleaned and sealed the tiles and replaced the furniture. The floor was an amazing transition from the before and after look. We're grateful to have found Floor Cleaning Experts to undo the mess our floor was in.
Description of Work: We had Travertine tile installed by an inept tile guy who neglected to even the floor surface and sealed the dirt into the tiles. The floor was a diaster. Floor Cleaning Experts removed the sealer, and ground down the uneven tiles. The team worked tirelessly to see the project through resulting in a shiny, even floor that we are pleased with.

He arrived as scheduled and measured the area to be cleaned and sealed and provided us with an written estimate. Daniel and Anthony arrived on time to perform the work and set up their equipment immediately upon arrival. The job took less than a day to complete, That evening we noticed a haze on the floors and called Tom. He arranged for Daniel and Anthony to return the following day and they polished the haze away. The floors look 100% better.

We have used three different floor cleaners over the last 10 years, but had never been truly pleased with the results until this time! What impressed us most, however, was the "above and beyond" attitude that they had. They even helped to buff out scratches in our stainless steel refrigerator that were caused by one of the other floor cleaning companies. How many companies will put in the time to fix another company's mistakes?
Description of Work: We had the floors for our entire house cleaned (1200 square feet of floor space cleaned); our entire house is tile. They also sealed the grout after cleaning.

 + 0 moreThey were able to clean the floors within a very tight time frame. They were not able to do the work that day, but they were able to get it done within the time frame. They were able to come in and move the furniture and restore the terrazzo tile. They were able to remove all the stains and residue from the wall to wall carpeting. They were able to move everything into the POD or off the floor to work on the floor. They did have to come back to patch some holes, but they fixed all the issues and restored the floor entirely. The owner was very prompt in returning calls and addressing any concerns I had.

 + -1 moreUPDATE; SEVERAL MONTHS FOLLOWING THE WORK I CONTACTED THE BUSINESS OWNER TO INFORM HIM THAT THE SEALER WAS TURNING WHIT IN MANY AREAS, (HIS COMPANY HAD A ONE YEAR WRITTEN WARRANTY ON THE PAVER SEALING JOB THAT I HAD PURCHASED). HE CAME TO MY HOUSE AND TOOK PICTURES. WHEN I FOLLOWED UP SEVERAL WEEKS LATER TO CHECK THE STATUS OF THE SITUATION HE TOLD ME THAT THE SEALER MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY. THE OWNER THEN STATED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO BECAUSE THE SEALER MANUFACTURER WOULDN'T HONOR THE WARRANTY IN FLORIDA. HE DIDN'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THAT IT WAS FLOOR CLEANING EXPERT THAT OFFERED THE WRITTEN WARRANTY, NOT THE MANUFACTURER. I ENDED UP REDOING THE PAVERS MYSELF :-((( BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE AMY WARRANTY OFFERED BY THIS COMPANY IS MEANINGLESS. Al though this job was more difficult & took much longer than anticipated Tom stuck with the project until the end result met his high standards. The end result EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!!!
Description of Work: Corrected faulty work performed by another contractor. Another contractor did a substandard job sealing my new pavers. When given a second chance to make the situation right, for an additional $1095, he became more difficult to work with & actually made things worse :-((

 + 0 moreThe floors look look gorgeous, both inside the condo & on the balcony. They finished on a Friday evening and seemed to be in a hurry to leave -they did not move the furniture back where it belonged, and the crew left trash & some empty chemical bottles. There was a good deal of dust on the counters. There was a large wet spot on the carpet in the bedroom that stayed damp for days after the cleaning, and now is a bit discolored. There were also several chips of paint & wood gouged in some of the baseboards. Tom is a great guy and would most likely have fixed the carpet area & wood gouges, but I didn't notice them for a few days. I did let him know about the furniture & the trash & he did come back right away to take care of it. He is very passionate about floors & about his company. I do think his crew is not as concerned about the details as he is!

 + -1 moreMy first experience with Tom Workman and Floor Cleaning Experts was a little over two years ago. I called Tom; not knowing him or his company, and asked for a bid on cleaning carpets in a commercial building in downtown Tampa. I was getting bids but was terribly afraid that I would be spending $5,000 to $10,000 to replace the carpet, as the owner just didn't see how it could be saved. To our surprise and amazement, Tom and his team did a fabulous job and I do not use anyone else since that time. He has saved me money, time and I have a great trust level in his abilities.
Description of Work: I manage several commercial and residential properties in the Tampa Bay along with the owner of these properties private residences. Tom has been doing all the carpet cleaning services for all properties for the past two years. Tom does quarterly carpet and marble cleaning on the commercial property along with the periodice emergency spot cleans that become necessary from time to time. He does the carpet cleaning in the residential properties and is the only person allowed to do the owner's homes. He is very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. THE AMOUNT OF MONEY I HAVE SPENT WITH THIS COMPANY IS OVER A TWO YEAR PERIOD AND FOR SEVERAL DIFFERENT PROPERTIES.
