 + -1 moreJim carries his cell phone with him (even up the ladder), so he answered calls quickly. He even came out on Saturday without extra charge. He is very professional and friendly. I can't say enough good things about him.
Description of Work: Jim did 2 jobs for me. He replaced the nylon gears in my opener at my home. He did not try to sell me a new opener as others would have. That job took about an hour. He added a keyless entry for this garage door. At my ex wife's house, he replaced a broken spring and added a keyless entry there. In addition, he greased the tracks and oiled the hinges. Both doors were in great shape when he finished. I would definitely would use him again.

Description of Work: GARAGE DOOR WAS VERY OLD AND WOULD NOT GO UP WITH OPENER OR MANUALLY. ON INITIAL VISIT, VARIOUS REPAIRS AND FIXED DOOR SO IT WOULD GO UP MANUALLY. PARTS NEEDED ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE, BUT HE HAD TAKEN DOWN ANOTHER SIMILAR DOOR. WANTED TO KEEP OLD DOOR AS IT MATCHED HOUSE EXTERIOR AND WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO REPLACE LOOK OF IT. HE SALVAGED PART FROM THAT DOOR TO FIX THIS ONE. ON NEXT/LAST TRIP, INSTALLED NEW OPENER AS OLD ONE WAS SHOT. ALL WORKS WELL NOW.

 + -1 moreJim Parker came within 2 hours of being called since he had another service call nearby. He is very polite and pleasant as well as knowledgeable. The fee of 85$ included the service call and a new opener which had to be programmed for 2 doors, very reasonable.

 + -1 moreI THOUGHT THEY WERE VERY RELIABLE, DEPENDABLE, AND TRUSTWORTHY. HE WAS A VERY HONEST PERSON AND DIDN'T TRY TO OVERCHARGE FOR ANYTHING. MOST COMPANIES CHARGED MORE JUST TO COME OUT AND INSPECT, AND I CAN'T ALWAYS TRUST SOME COMPANIES NOT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN.

 + -1 moreI HAVE AN OLD GARAGE DOOR THAT ISN'T MADE ANYMORE. I HAD IT REPAIRED PREVIOUSLY WHICH WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. MR PARKER WAS ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND WAS VERY REASONABLE IN PRICE. HE HAD TO COME TWICE TO GET THE REPAIR DONE. HE FOUND PARTS THAT WERE NECESSARY WHICH WAS NOT EASY. ALTHOUGH I REALLY NEED A NEW DOOR, HE DID A REALLY GOOD JOB FIXING THE ONE I HAVE. WHEN I EVENTUALLY GET A NEW DOOR, I WILL ABSOLUTELY CALL HIM FIRST.

JIM PARKER OF ADVANCED GARAGE DOORS CAME OUT ON A FRIDAY AND SAID HE WOULD INSTALL A NEW DOOR THE FOLLOWING WEEK. WE SELECTED CLOPAY PREMIUM INSULATED DOOR WITH CHARLESTON WINDOWS. TRUE TO HIS WORD MR. PARKER AND HIS ASSISTANT DENNIS CAME OUT THE FOLLOWING WEEK; REMOVED THE OLD DOOR AND INSTALLED THE NEW DOOR IN LESS THAN SEVEN HOURS. RESULT: A GREAT JOB AND A BEAUTIFUL DOOR. WE COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED.

Description of Work: THEY INSTALLED A 16' CLOPAY ALUMINUM NON INSULATED DOOR WITH ELECTRIC DOOR OPENER AND 2 REMOTES. EXCELLENT WORK--LONGER THAN THEY SAID IT WOULD TAKE, BUT VERY WELL DONE. SEEMED VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SERVICE WAS PERSONALIZED. HE IS RELATIVELY NEW IN THE DOOR BUSINESS AND I THINK HE WILL GO FAR! I FOUND HIS BUSINESS IN THE YELLOW PAGES, AFTER HOME DEPOT SAID IT WOULD TAKE 4-6 WEEKS, AND HE WAS DONE IN LESS THAN 7 DAYS !!
