We purchased an older home that needed fixtures and general freshening up. Rudisill installed three exterior fixtures, over ten interior fixtures, two bathroom vent fans and three ceiling fans and a few new switches where needed (two-days work). They are very professional and considerate. I look forward to bringing them back for the next job.

This was my 2nd time using Rudisill electric. Rick answered all of my email questions so that he was prepared and already had the parts needed to do the job. Price was fair, he was quick & efficient.

After my 1920s home starting having electrical problems I knew I needed an entire house re-wire and update. Everyone told me it was going to be a nightmare. Not only was it not, it was such a pleasant experience as I met the most amazing and nicest people; Barb, Rick and Caleb who also happen to be awesome electricians. All the great reviews are true, their work ethic and work is perfect. If you need an electrician for anything, I highly recommend Rudisill Electric.

Quick and efficient installation, with attention to sweeping up debris. Did a nice job of installing new dining room outlet and making more professional wiring connections than had been made by previous electrician.

Rick could not have been more respectful or polite. We would not hesitate to recommend him. He is highly talented and we were impressed that a Master Electrician was the one doing the work. We only wish that we had known about him years ago. Even if you have to wait a couple of weeks for him, he is worth it! Thanks a million Rick!!

Rick and Caleb arrived on ( actually a little early) went right to work and re-positioned the chandelier. They did an amazing job!! Rick was able to fix the ceiling hole left from moving the fixture so beautifully that you can't tell it was ever in any other place.

we knew something was wrong with it. he came in, didn't do anything to fix fan, and said there was bad wiring and that he couldn't do work today but he can come back, said you owe me 95$, got a little hassle out of me, i said i wasn't going to pay for something he didn't fix. he said 'well i told you something was wrong' i said ill pay you 95$ but as long as you fix it. he said no way. i cant fix it today, so i said i wont pay you today. Be Careful, when you make a call you expect results.

A neighbor was cutting a piece of cracked sidewalk to repair damage when his saw stopped due to electrical loss. Efforts to restore power by resetting the GFI and breaker were unsuccessful. It was then discovered that the power was also out to the water softener, washer, and dryer. Though inconvenient I could deal with it through the weekend so as not to incur additional expense. Sent a note to Rudisill Electric (on Saturday) asking to be scheduled for service the first of the next week. Rick wrote back almost immediately telling me to reset all the breakers including the main power to the house. Still no success but I did notice a difference in the feel of one breaker. After advising Rick he guided me through a more refined process to re-engage the breaker that was at fault. It worked! I'm wary of those who seek to take advantage and this would have been a golden opportunity. I'd already done what Rick advised but with his expertise he knew by my description that instead of a failed breaker it just wasn't fully engaging. He saved me a service call and got my appliances back functioning on a weekend with no expense. When I reported all systems were working he expressed gratitude at having been able to help me without a visit and wished me a Merry Christmas! That's integrity at its best.

A simple job that would have taken me much longer (there's always suprises....) but Rick he had it done in an hour. Nice, neat job at a fair price. He and his receptionist were very pleasant to work with and I will use this company again as needed.

This was our second time using Rudisill Electric. Sorry, forgot to post a review the first time but being a repeat customer should say it all. As we are doing a house remodel/freshening this year we wanted to update a lot of our prehistoric light fixtures along with fixing a few other electrical-related issues. Rick and his assistant came out right on their scheduled time and I reviewed our 9 requests with them. They quickly went to work and worked diligently throughout the day. The raising of the chandelier and all of the 7 change out tasks went like clockwork. The final and most difficult job was to install a decorator light in the center of our living room with minimal or no alteration to the existing walls or ceiling. Not an easy request considering we have a two-story home and there was no attic space above the living room. Rick brilliantly (I really mean that word) figured out a way to run a wire from a switch/outlet up thru the concrete block and out to the exterior of the house. He then removed some soffits and ran the wire thru that area about 10 feet where he made a 90 degree turn with the wire and ran it back thru the living room ceiling where it was attached to our new decorator light. The bottom line, not one bit of repair needed to our living room walls or ceiling and our light looks beautiful. That's why I would recommend Rick to others, certainly many other qualified electricians would have been able to do most of my basic required electrical jobs but Rick shined with his creativity to complete this last task. I think this is where he differs from his competition. All in all, they were working in my home from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and I was extremely pleased with the amount charged. They were courteous and worked in a clean manner, something this OCD person appreciates. Also, as noted in other reviews, Barbara was a pleasure to work with in the scheduling of the appointment. A+ all around.

It went great! Rick removed the raised bar counter-top and was able to relocate the outlet to a great place that would be hidden under the new granite counter-tops coming in. The outlets are tamper proof so safe for our baby. Rick is always very customer oriented and wants to make sure you are completely satisfied before leaving. I look forward to working with him again on the next project.

Rick was great! He was super nice and explained everything he was doing. If he saw something that was not right he corrected it. He was extremely accurate in his measurements and made sure that all jobs were done to our satisfaction. He was able to come one day after I called to make an appointment and was right on time. He was a pleasure along with his help to do business with. I would call Rick again for any electrical work in our home.

This is the second time I have had Rick perform work in my home. I was just as pleased this time as I was before. Rick is most courteous and professional. He is very knowledgeable about what electrical fixtures should have. He goes the extra mile to do things right. For example, when mounting the ceiling fan in the living room and and also the flush mount light fixture in the office, he discovered that the builder did not install the metal box which houses the wires (a potential hazard) so he did that as well. In addition, the diameter of the new office light fixture was smaller than the old fixture. The ceiling showed the popcorn that was removed on the rest of the ceiling so he painted the ceiling around where the new fixture would be so the ceiling would look uniform. I plan to use his services again when I undertake the two bathroom remodeling projects.

This is the second time we've used Rick Rudisill, same excellent results. Flawless communication regarding appointment and exact arrival time, neat and accurate workmanship, professional and courteous attitude are all included. Rudisill electric is now my "go to" electrical contractor.

Excellent service, I would use Rick again anytime I needed electrical work

This is the second job Rick has done for me. The first job he did was to install a separate 120 line to my bathroom for a bidet. I was so impressed with his work that I hired Rick to do the wiring for my spa. I wanted the wiring installed first before the concrete was poured. I also wanted the connection under the spa which required precise measuring so that the wires fit under the spa between the shell and the cabinetry. Rick is extremely professional and has a wonderful work ethic not to mention his eye for detail. I got four estimates for both of these jobs and both of Rick's proposals were the lowest price. So if you want excellent work; preformed quickly with the best price; then you can't go wrong with using Rudisill Electric.

I called and got a quote for fitting a replacement light in my kitchen pantry (I was proving the fixture). Scheduling was easy. Rick arrived exactly on time. I gave him my light fixture and he fitted it quickly, cleaned up after he was done and I payed exactly what was quoted. Rick was very polite and efficient and I will definitely be using Rudisill again for my future electrical needs.

They gave me an estimate and I waited about a week to start. I wanted to get a couple of other estimates and decided to go with them. I had to call mulitple times before I could get a hold of him after the price was quoted. When I called them to schedule the appointment, he was very rude and said he would not do the project for the price quoted, he had to raise it over $200 for material costs. I do not believe in one week that materials jumped that much. He was rude and said, "I am busy, do you want me to do this or not?" I decided not to go with this company.

He was really professional and was wonderful. A+.

They have done work for me at home as well as at my business. From changing out old wall sockets to replacing and updating my 35 yr old breaker box in the garage, they have done a great job. Highly recommend.

Rick came when he said he would and worked quickly. Lighting is much better than before with the same fixture. He is going to be "my electrician" in the future.

I am extremely happy with Rick's service. He arrived on time and he is a very professional and conscientious young man. He did an excellent job pulling wires from the attic to install my ceiling fans. His price was very fair for the amount of work done. He was very courteous and cleaned up when the job was completed which took about 3 hours. I would not hesitate to call on Rick again for any other electrical work.

I asked for an estimate and was told they only give estimates over the phone

Rick arrived on time, ready to work. He asked detailed questions about our four problems, which I'd call his "diagnosis stage." After the Q&A with me, he said, "All that's involved is science, knowledge, and discovering the system deficiencies that are causing your problems. By the time I leave here today, I'll have solved every one of your problems." Rudisill Electric's slogan is, "Nothing Is Impossible." Rick lives up to those words. He methodically identified and uncovered the cause of each problem -- in every case what he called "lazy work" by prior contractors -- and said he felt a couple of our issues, and a fifth he discovered in the course of his work, " -- were done by "...a friend of a friend of a friend. No licensed electrician would have done the kind of work I'm seeing here." (Welcome to Florida!) About two of the problems (e.g. incorrect wiring, loose connections, failure to ground, using the ground wire as a "hot" wire) he said, "These are serious enough that they could have burned your house down. I hate it when I see work like this...work you paid good money for, and now you have to pay again to have it done right." During his investigations in the attic, he discovered that our main HVAC duct had become disconnected from the air handler, leaving our heat and A/C to blow mostly into the attic. Even though it's not his job, when he went out to buy the electrical parts to finish his work, he also bought mastic and a brush, crawled back up in the attic, reconnected the main duct to the air handler, and applied generous amounts of mastic to seal the seam. When he came back down, he said, "There. That won't come apart again any time soon and it ought to save you about $10.00 a month on your electric bill." THAT'S customer service! This guy is excellent. He is partners with his wife Barbara, who handles their administration. He kept me informed in detail about everything he was doing all day (he was here seven hours, plus an hour to go out and get materials and return, the time for which he didn't charge), and completely cleaned up after himself. You'd never even know he'd been here. If and when we need any further electrical work done, Rudisill is who we'll be calling. Rick is a smart, experienced, efficient problem solver, and he proved to me beyond any doubt that "Nothing Is Impossible."
