Jason was FANTASTIC!. I had some prior work completed that was sub par. Jason came to my rescue and he was able to squeeze me in the same day! He made recommendations to repair the prior work. Jason and his team completed the work in a timely and professional manner. My ceiling looked fantastic by the time he was finished. My only regret is that I did not find Jason sooner!

I had removed the drywall, vapor barrier, and old furring due to concealed damage and smell from a very old leak that was repaired long before I bought this house. I had cleaned and prepped the concrete wall.Jason and his crew were tasked with putting up new drywall and match the knockdown finish. Jason first came to look over the job and made a proposal. He is very knowledgeable and more of an "artist" than a production worker. He is straight-forward and gives you an honest assessment. He did not try to "sell" the job. I felt very comfortable with him and he brought his crew in for a day to complete the project. The results, after I replaced the molding and painted it were amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better finish. As far as price, I cannot tell you if it was in line or not. Jason did was he quoted and cleaned up after the job. The finish was as expected or better. I did think that it was expensive for just one wall after I did all the demo, but we are in South Florida, so it may be the going rate. I was happy and that is all that counts. Jason also did quote another job for us and I thought his price was reasonable. Do not hesitate to at least contact Jason if you are looking for a good finisher.

I've had a lot of good experiences with Angie's List, but this was not one of them. I found him on Angie's List and have used him before. I called him. He told me that he was going to call me and come by to give me an estimate. I think I called him on a Wednesday. He said that he was going to call me on Thursday and was going to show up. He was going to call me, set a time late in the afternoon, but he never called. He called me at 5:00 and it's now Friday. He said that he was going to call me the next day. He said that he was sorry because he took off work early and was hanging out with his daughter. He told me that he was going to call to set up something for Saturday. I told him that was fine, so I had somebody again to come to my house and wait for him. He never called. He didn't call later or anything. He did not call at all. He calls me Monday and told me that he could come to my house at 10:00 to take a look at the job. He calls at 8:40 in the morning and said that he would like to come now. I told him that he set the appointment at 10:00 and I'm not going to have anybody at my home because I was at work. He then said fine and that he was going to come at 10:00. So he comes at 10:00 and gives me an estimate to fill five holes in the ceiling that are about 6" in diameter. I didn't like the price, so I asked Jason if this was the right price for five holes. He was a little bit not good in the beginning the first time I used him but he did decent work, so I gave him another shot. I got a bad attitude and he wanted me to pay $406 for five holes. He was like, "I run a corporation and in order to make a profit this is what I have to charge." I told him that I had people waiting at my house on Thursday and you didn't call or show up. I had another person there on Friday and you didn't call or show up. When he did show up, I told him at that price that I was going to pass. He told me how ugly my ceiling looks and it didn't matter who does it that the ceiling is ugly. I would never use Jason ever again. He didn't have a good attitude and sort of defamed my house. He shouldn't have said that, so I will never use him ever again. I was trying to recommend him to a person two doors down and I'm so happy that I didn't because they are friends of mine. His price was the highest. I don't ever want to deal or talk to that guy again. I'm probably going to just go online and use Angie's List again for someone else. I did report him. I thought he had a real attitude problem. I don't need to hear about all the issues the guy has. All I want to do is pay for good services that are done. He was very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend him to my enemy.

Very happy with Jason and his crew. To begin with, I called three providers late on a Saturday afternoon. Jason was the only one to get back to me over the weekend. We setup an appointment to get a quote and he showed up exactly when he said he would. They had to make a total of three visits to complete the job. Each time they arrived exactly on time. As far as the quality of the work, I'm 100% satisfied. He knew I was painting the entire house right after them and they patched a part of a wall I forgot to ask them to do. It obviously was not paint-ready and I appreciate the attention to detail they provided here. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves quite well. His pricing is very reasonable and I would not hesitate to recommend Jason and his team to anyone.

He did an amazing job. I was so impressed and so happy. I thought I had done a good job in gathering the furniture to the center of the room but Jason needed the room empty. Without a complaint, he and his crew moved all of the furniture out of the room and put it right back once they were done. Who does that? I wish everyone I hired was this good. It went absolutely first rate. Jason and his crew were on-time, under budget, cleaned up after themselves and were the ultimate professionals. You can get drywall work done anywhere but if you want it done right the first time then Jason is the guy. Superstar!! One of a dying breed.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Jason and his crew went out of the way to fit my small jobs in. Quality of work, professionalism, and price were all top notch. HIGHLY recommended. Wish I found them before I had other company do all my ceilings. I typically go beyond, finishing the last round or two of mud myself. Jason and his crew hung walls, did a major ceiling repair, and accomplished perfection with two coats. Don't regret your other drywall contractor like me, and hire Jason. Very reasonable prices for top quality work. Couldn't be happier here!

We called Jason to do what we thought was a fairly straight forward job of removing popcorn and spraying knockdown texture. It turned out to be a far more complicated process than we had initially planned for. There were underlying problems that we weren't aware of and it required substantial drywall repair. Jason and his crew were not only able to do the repairs, but they did a better job than we could have ever hoped for. They don't simply scrape and spray the walls. There is far more finishing required to do the best job possible. Despite the additional work required to properly finish the job, Jason was able to rearrange his schedule to get it done in a very timely manner so our lives were minimally disrupted. Anyone contemplating doing ceiling refinishing on your own, don't do it!! Jason's prices are the best we could find and the results are beautiful!

I called Jason and scheduled an appointment for him to see the job and give me an estimate. Lo and behold, he showed up right on time (a nice change from many S. FL contractors). Jason explained the options and did a detail measurement. He answered all our questions and we accepted all his suggestions. He then wrote-up the estimate and we scheduled the work. This was tricky for me because other work had to be completed before Jason could start and Jason had to be finished before other work was scheduled - I had to have Jason fit in my schedule of work being done. Another lo and behold: Jason called the day before he was scheduled to do the work in order to confirm he would be at the condo the next morning.. He and his crew showed up right on schedule and began the job. Jason came across several unexpected conditions with the old ceiling, including some water damaged sections, but he repaired all. The job was completed on time and cleaned up completely. When it came time to pay, Jason honored his original estimate. I was very happy with Jason's work and especially how he made sure everything was don right - no cut corners. Jason comes across very dryly on the phone, but once you get to talk with him you quickly discover he's also a good guy. If you have any drywall work or especially popcorn ceiling removal to be done, Jason is your guy - I wouldn't use anyone else and neither should you!

I contacted Jason from Michigan a week before I moved to Florida. I was desperate to have the work done before my furniture arrived, which only gave me a few days. Jason was very understanding and accommodating! He tentatively penciled me in on his schedule and agreed to meet me on the day I got there. The ceilings had quite a few cracks in every room which needed additional attention. He quoted me a very fair price on Friday and they were there 1st thing Monday morning and started the work. It took one day to take down popcorn, repair ceiling, and install the knockdown. One day in between to dry (and that was the day my furniture arrived) and they were back they next day to finish with paint and caulk. They covered everything with plastic sheets and put tarps on the floors. They did a great cleanup (both days) as well. My ceilings look beautiful!! Jason is the owner operator and takes great pride in his work. He is very skilled at his trade. I still can't believe how smoothly everything went. I highly recommend Jason Lopiccolo!!

Jason and his crew did an amazing job. We were very happy. We would definitely use him again. You couldn't even see a seam where he repaired the ceiling after the electrician fell through the ceiling.

Jason came over on Saturday August 2th to give us a quote on removing the popcorn on all the ceiling in the house. Approx. 1400 sq ft. and replace with knockdown texture. The quote was competitive but it was Jason's style that was the main reason we decided to hire him. He spent a lot of time with us explaining the entire process and how he and his crew were going to prep the house and then install the knockdown texture. Jason advised us to remove the ceiling fan blades and any other obstacle rather than just cover them to ensure a more smoother application, no one else advised us to do that. Jason also let us know that he would be the one who would install the knockdown and we liked that he took ownership of the job site from start to finish. Due to other schedule changes he had he was able to get the project completed by the following Wed knowing we wanted to get back into the house the following weekend to paint. Jason communicated throughout the project with us every step of the way. We would whole heartedly recommend Jason to anyone and will be recommending him to anyone who needs popcorn removed and knockdown installed. The ceiling look fantastic and we are so happy with the results. If you are looking for an honest reliable company please give Jason a call for a quote, you'll be happy you did.

After careful research on Angie's List, we chose Jason LoPiccolo to remove our ancient Popcorn Ceiling. The Taped Joints were broken, there were several locations that had been poorly repaired and the ceilings in every room had been subjected to cigarette smoke. We talked to three other Angie's List Popcorn Removal companies but chose Jason since his only business is Popcorn Ceilings. Jason arrived early with a crew of people and immediately began covering all of the walls and floors with strong plastic covering. We left the house and Jason said he would call us when they finished. Eight hours later we returned to find all of the Popcorn was gone, the joints had been re-taped, all of the defects were repaired and the house was totally cleaned up. We are thrilled that we chose Jason LoPiccola and would highly recommend Jason to anybody who needs their Popcorn Ceiling removed. To add icing to the cake, Jason also recommended a painter that he had worked with on many other jobs and we now have the painter scheduled to paint the entire interior of our home. The painter Jason recommended was extremely helpful, made recommendations that we hadn't thought about and provided us with competitive price.

My experience with them went well. I would recommend them. They did the job on time. Everything went well. Everything with them was excellent. They delivered everything they promised for the price they promised.

I'd like to rate this lower than F if possible. This was one of the worst experiences we've had so far here in south Florida. This man came out to the house about two weeks ago to give us an estimate on new drywall installation for our remodel. He actually provided a very good price at the time, but was quite curt and rude on the phone to my son who was dealing with him. We told him at the time that we were waiting on a few other estimates and we would contact him back. My son had called him about seeing if there was any flexibility on the price, and he basically told him that he was an idiot and "I've got to make money too". Which we understood, but it was the way he spoke that very much frustrated us. So we decided to go with another contractor. Sadly, that person dropped out at the last minute, so my son called Mr. Lopiccolo about the job last Wednesday. He informed Mr. Lopiccolo that we wanted to start work immediatedly and the gentleman told us he would get back to us by the end of the day. He left my son a message stating that his "boy" (we're still not sure if this referenced his friend or his son) was going into some sort of surgery, but what he would like to do was drop off all the drywall at the house so the people he uses to do the work (he wasn't doing it himself) would be able to start on Tuesday. This was Memorial Day weekend and we understood that no one would be working on Monday. My son was working a full overnight shift and called Mr. Lopiccolo the next day to accept and get started. Unfortunately, he never called back. So my son left a message on Monday. And on Tuesday. And did not get a call back either day. Today, he tried calling him from the house phone and miraculously, he picked up on the first ring! Only to tell my son that he "didn't think it was going to work out between us". Which is his right, of course, but why not bother calling back and returning our calls when we wanted to hire him? What sort of childish behavior is that? Now we're basically set back another full week because after basically trying to force feed him our money for 3 days, he decides he doesn't want it any longer, and finding a new contractor mid week to start immediately is next to impossible. The sheer disrespect and lack of basic common courtesy should keep anyone away from looking to do business with this gentleman. Clearly this is not an isolated incident given the other reviews on here. I'm sure he'll come up with some sort of excuse or twisting of the facts in his rebuttal, since he seems to do that quite frequently, but maybe if he spent more time focusing on his customers rather than his continually tarnishing his reputation in the first place, he wouldn't have to bother.

Jason arrived on time and completed the job in the time frame he had stated it would take. Considering how messy the popcorn removal process is I was very satisfied with his clean up. We plan in the future to have more rooms done and will definitely call Jason to do it.

The ceiling looks very nice, I don't have a problem with that. The problem is that the people he hired that did the ceiling did not cover the walls, and the paint was painted over with the white ceiling stuff. Most of the rooms in the house are white, so that's not a problem, but the living room walls have to be repainted. I don't understand why they were so sloppy with the walls, because the ceilings look really nice. They also got that white stuff on a couple of ceiling fans, and that's just not right. My husband told me to forget about it at the time, but it still bugs me, because the contractor who hired Lopicollo as a subcontractor did a sloppy job as well, and now I don't know if any contractor out there is trustworthy. Response to Lopicola: the other contractor worked in the family room, and the two bathrooms. The white residue was on doorknobs, fans, remotes, and the white spray was in the living room wall, where the other contractor did not work at all. I did not make this stuff up. I am not a mean person; I have no agenda, I am just stating the facts here and letting other consumers know my experience with your services..

I have used them twice, easiest way to describe it is they come in, cover everything, do a great job, and are gone before you know it, leaving it looking like they were never there. which is fantastic considering how messy of a job that is. I will use them for sure again in the future.

Jason was very responsive and straight forward. He gave me a rough estimate base on sq ft and follow it up with a visit to confirm estimate before he started the job. He arrive and finished on time, not to mention doing a few extra jobs while he was on site. Jason is the owner and operator. He did an outstanding job, and took old outdated ceiling and made the look new and fresh. I would not hesitate to recommend Jason, and hope to use him more in the future .
