Job happened the day it was scheduled, despite “crazy” summer thunderstorms, and am very happy with the result.

I am extremely pleased with the work performed by Joe and his workmen who paved my very long driveway recently. The cost of the job was less expensive than another potential provider; the warranty is much longer; the asphalt is thicker; and the finished job was very professionally done. I am most pleased with Joe’s product!

Outstanding work! They removed my old asphalt driveway and installed a new one without disrupting my paver sidewalk, flower beds, or lawn. The team was professional, polite, and did a great job.

I was very impressed with the initial contact with the estimator, Dan, who left me with a good price to resurface the Driveway. On the day scheduled, Joe and his team showed around 9am and worked non-stop, cleaned up very nicely and very pleased with the excellent job. I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

The price seems to be okay, it all depends on how my driveway will look like in 3-5 years. The supervisor (Joseph) did not go over what they planned on doing to my driveway. Additionally, they didn't do what I was promised by the estimator (Daniel) to remove a tree root beneath the driveway. Furthermore, there is no communication and follow up after work done by either customer service or whoever answers the phone.

They showed up around 10:00am. started working non stop until they finished the job. Very impressive and they did a wonderful job. I will recommend it to my friends. Very reasonable price.

The terms of the written estimate were not met; that is, no gravel was provided as a base. The project supervisor insisted none was needed because the revealed previous base was adequate gravel. I didn't think it was gravel at all, but mostly mud mixed with some small rocks that could be described as gravel. The workers didn't announce their arrival. When I heard them outside and went out, the project supervisor implied they had removed as much as was necessary, "How do you like it?" When I wasn't pleased, he brought out machinery and removed more. After much argument about whether we were looking at gravel, he directed the team to begin filling in asphalt. He and his team obviously were good at this part and the finished driveway looks good. However, a couple of areas that I pointed out are not adequately compacted since the asphalt was somewhat lower than in the adjacent areas and the large roller didn't contact those lower areas. The supervisor was verbally insulting, making jokes about my opinion to amuse his team (which, to their credit, they didn't respond) and repeatedly shouting over me as I tried to explain what I thought. In the end he called the company owner, who he said was his son, and offered his phone to me. The son was initially polite on the telephone but then became louder and repeated the previous points. The workers left without any resolution and no payment. Later, another man who described himself as the person who had done the estimate called me twice at home to repeat the company arguments. I finally told him to just wait a couple of days until I calmed down and we could discuss some solution. We'll see where this goes and whether we can agree on some compromise. Does Home Advisor have negotiators?
