It was a very difficult installatiion due to severe space limitations that I placed on the installation. The install took 10 hours which was predicted to be 8 hours, but Waychoff's personnel were very professional and met all of the challenges.The owner arrived on site to assist in the decisons required to meet this difficult installation. I'm very impressed with the Professionalism displayed by Waychoff A/C. The price beat the largest A/c company in Jax and their Warranty exceeded theirs also. Very pleased with the install & price & financing. With only one month since install the Electric savings appear to be less than predicted, but are yet to be determined. Still quite pleased with Waychoff's. I feel Waychoff's is a very trustworhy company....They've got my business.

We initially contacted Waychoff to repair old A/C unit that had stopped working. Repairman came promptly and got it back up and running. Due to the fact that our unit was older, we initiated their maintenance plan under. The provide regular maintenance, test system, etc. About 5 months ago, we decided to replace our A/C unit as it was no longer able to keep our house cool and distribute air consistently throughout house. They provided a couple of options for A/C units and also did a thorough inspection of our ductwork to determine any issues. They immediately found ductwork installation issues from when our home was built (they took pictures while in our attic so that we could easily see problems). They clearly explained how these installation issues had caused problems, made our original A/C unit run harder, and resulted in very high electric bills. This was very enlightening as we had paid another A/C company (T******) to clean our ducts and identify any issues -- the other company charged a lot of money to say there weren't really any issues. Our experience with Waychoff, and their desire to lay things out very clearly even with pictures, made our decision very clear on who should perform the installation of our new system. They installed the new system several months ago. Their team was very professional and took great pride in their work. They then followed up to ensure we were satisfied and that airflow issues had been corrected. Very thorough!! After such major work, we waited to write a review to ensure no problems. I am happy to say, that we are thrilled with our new system. Between the new system and the improvements in the ductwork, we have seen lower electric bills and are much more comfortable with the more consistent temperature throughout the house.

Leak was fixed promptly, price was fair and they were able to send someone out quickly with minimal fuss

It went excellent. The price was reasonable and they did what they said they were going to do. The people were responsive and decent people. They weren’t super expensive.

He is overall very knowledgeable. He certainly knew what he was doing. I felt very comfortable working with him.

We have used Waychoff for several years, and have been happy with their work. In fact, we've used them for quarterly maintenance visits for a few years as well. During one such visit in March 2014, I was told that there was an issue with my compressor. I was told if I didn't address it now, with some additional work (I'm not an AC tech, so I'm not totally aware of what exactly they did) at about $400 that my compressor would blow and I have to replace it or possibly the entire unit. I had the additional work done and about two weeks later, the compressor failed anyway. I called, and they promptly sent a technician out, the same guy. He said that what he did was too late to save the compressor. This is despite the fact that about 3 months earlier, one of their technicians came out to do the quarterly maintenance and never mentioned this problem. So either: 1) The first technician didn't check the compressor, even though he was supposed to ... or 2) Something dramatic happened over the 3 months that caused the compressor to fail. They did refund the cost of the work done to "save the compressor". But, perhaps if the first technician had done his job and checked the compressor, I wouldn't have been in this spot in the first place. I'll continue to use them, because my experience with other AC companies has never been a good one. This is one major screw up, but I've also had good experiences with them. Who ever answers their phones has always been nice and professional. Most times, the work is done well and they are prompt. So, I'll give them another chance.

after the inspection check up by a few weeks later my a/c is not cooling anymore.

We needed to replace 2 complete air conditioning systems in our home. The quote from Waychoff's was competitive and the rep (Tracy) was very knowledgeable and thorough in determining what needed to be done. The work was scheduled quickly and conveniently. The installation crew stayed on task and on time. The entire job was completed with a minimum of disruption to us. They used protective covers on our wood floors, and cleaned up after the work was done. We are very pleased with the entire process and would highly recommend this company.

The Waychoff technician was able to find the root cause and quickly fixed the issue.

These guys were on time. Their work was outstanding. They left no mess and they did an accurate and excellent job.

Waychoff's Air Conditioning was competitively priced, showed up when they said they would and when it was convenient for me. Their installers were professional, polite, and answered all my questions thoroughly. Tracy Poor, the sales rep., followed up in-person after the install to ensure I was satisfied and all went well. A couple examples of their good work were that they all wore shoe covers anytime they entered my house, they cleaned up after themselves, and continually made me feel valued as a customer throughout the process. Tracy Poor even offered to come back with a special leaf guard when he noticed tree debris falling into the newly installed outdoor unit.

I don't recall the service tech's name but he was very knowledgeable and performed a thorough job. He cleaned up after himself. He offered a air cleaner/purifier to add on to the system but at the time it was a little pricey for us. Would definitely us him again as well as recommend them to anyone! We are very pleased with the job!

They did an excellent job and installed items beyond what they needed to install including new electric service for the compressor, a microbial mitigation lamp and corrected my existing ducts misalignment problems at the air handler. The installation crew was quite professional and did a first rate install. I would highly recommend Waychoff. I got three quotes and they were much more thorough then the other contractors with a much better warranty for the same cost.

We replaced our 5 ton AC/Heat pump and Waychoff's suggested and corrected some duct issues that had been existing since the home was built. The builder undersized the main return which caused an extreme drop in efficiency that we were never aware of until Waychoff's identified it during their quote, corrected it and we noticed a big change in the comfort of a few rooms (and a big drop in our electric bill). We were super impressed with Waychoff's from start to finish - we've recommended them to at least 4 friends, who have all used them and been equally impressed. They are the only AC company I would consider using for any AC needs.

These guys are great. The owneer is closely involved in the business, and all the technicians are very good. They're efficient, honest, and very professional. Our system (which they monitor as part of our service contract with them) had been giving us problems for the past few months. They tried different things to see if we could avoid, or at the very least push back, the need to replace the whole system. Some of the things they did were helpful, but eventually the system was too old and corroded to work properly. They provided multiple quotes for different systems, and made the process easier by coordinating no-interest financing directly with Wells Fargo. Rick, the owner, processed everything for us, and within two days we had a new system installed and working like a charm. We can feel the difference with this new system, as it brings the house temperature to where we want it in no time. We'll definitely stick with Waychoff's for years to come!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It ended up costing me a lot more than what we had anticipated, but their service is outstanding. The use of Angie's List gave them a lot of business from me. It's a wonderful company and they're very good. It's a great company.

I called Waychoff's on a Thursday to get an estimate to replace our units and Tracy came out to our house the next day.He was very knowledgeable about our current heat pump units and about heat pump units in general. Tracy asked questions to see what we were looking for in a new unit to make sure he could meet our needs and requirements. Having narrowed down what we were looking for he then gave me options that he felt would satisfy our needs. We did have 2 other companies give us estimates and one of the other estimates was comparable to the Waychoff's estimate but I just got a better overall feeling about the Waychoff's company.

I purchased a brand new Trane Heat & Air system in 2012. The night of 1-7-2014 was the 2nd day the nightfall was in the 20's. When I walked in the house about 4:30pm I noticed my heater wasn't turning on, it had been working previously that morning. I bumped the thermometer up and listened for the fan. It wasn't coming on. Then I walked outside and noticed the unit wasn't working there either. When I walked back inside I noticed the temperature in the house declining. I called Waychoff's to see if a technician could come out to check my unit. I was told they were very busy that night and would not be able to get someone out until probably after noon the next day. Hearing the disappointment in my voice, I was then told she would try to get someone out in the morning and that the tech would call first. I'm in my late 50's so I got a hotel room for my dog and I. Meanwhile I called my husband who was working on our rental home in another city 6 hours away. To my surprise he drove home luckily to follow along with the technician in the morning. I got home in time to pay the $171.00 service call. I was surprised I was billed because as an Angies List member, they were not supposed to charge a service call, much less one that was wired incorrectly to begin with. I guess I have to use them since they are the ones who installed my unit but I'm not happy about this whole situation.

My heat quit work the night before so I called Waychoff's the next morning. I explained my problem and they told me they could have a tech out there between 12 and 2. About 12:30 they called me and said that the tech was running a little late and would be there at 1:30. He called me about 20 minutes before arriving at my home so that I could leave work and meet him there. Nice that I did not have to take time off from work just to wait!! The tech was incredibly courteous and very knowledgeable. I told him what was going on and he gave me an idea of what he thought it might be. Every step of the way he told me what he was doing and why. Turns out the fix he did was sort of a band aid as I do need a new system ( which I kind of already knew) but he did not try to push me into anything I did not want. He fixed the problem so that I have heat this evening. They were prompt, quick , courteous and very professional. I am very glad I called them!
