The visit was successful - the AC was not blowing cold air and it was functioning when the service tech left. I was given a discount on the freon, for which I was quite grateful, since this was a very unexpected repair.

This was a straight forward replacement of our aging AC system in our house. It went out and we had it checked locally on a late Friday afternoon. It was shot as we knew and the local AC company tried to pressure us on the spot about service and replacement. We emailed several companys based on Angies list ratings and Waychoff's was one of them. They called us Friday night after receiving our email for quotes and took down our information and promised a call back on Sunday (Mothers day). Sunday came and we did indeed receive the call and the gentleman took a lot of time with me answering my questions and providing a very reasonable quote. As I mentioned it was Mothers Day and he took his time to work things out for me including several calls back and fourth to tie up loose ends (my questions and concerns). Waychoff's did the total AC replacement on the next day, arriving at the time they promised. The whole evolution of tearing out our old system and replacing it was painless. There was no drama, excuses, interuptions or unfinished work, everything was done perfectly and the install crew was professional and courteous. I highly reccomend Waychoffs if you are looking for a company with integrity and professionalism.

Service tech DID NOT clean the coils and DID NOT clean/vacuum the drain line, as he should have done (see the ad right here on AL; those two services are supposed to be included in the "tune up"). Service tech did inspect the system, and did find a bunch of problems, and then recommended I pay him hundreds of dollars to fix said problems and/or I just get a whole new system! The problems were: dirty coils at the air handler (quoted me $202 to clean them, even though it should have been included), two bad capacitors (quoted me $200 for these), a leaking gas line (said he couldn't fix it), and the system needed some R22 refrigerant (quoted me 3 lbs @ $85 a lb!). I paid him the $59 and sent him away. I found the costs to be astronomical, for both labor (cleaning the coils), and parts (cost for the two capacitors at a local appliance parts store is only $42). Also, R22 refrigerant can be easily obtained for about $10-14 per lb.

I was working on my house to get it ready for a tenant when the ac quit working. It was, of course, on a weekend, but Waychoff's came out the same day -- and after regular working hours, but didn't charge me extra for it. The fella was so very nice and thoroughly checked out everything, replaced a part which worked temporarily but then failed. He checked further and found a bigger problem. He showed me what he was looking for, how it should look and perform vs how it did look and wasn't performing. He then worked up a price for replacing parts that would get it running with minimal warranty vs replacing system with a very good warranty. The system was old so I chose to replace it. I knew the price was good because I recently collected estimates for replacing the system in my other home. They came out on a SUNDAY to do the work, and Sunday night I slept in cool comfort. I LOVE this company. I can't recommend them any more highly.

after having this unit since June of last year have had nothing but problems with it. I can not recommend a Amana A/C. They do come as soon as I call them and tell I have a problem and fix it. I have left message for the owner to call me but as of yet he has not.

The team assigned to this installation was prompt, professional, knowledgeable about the equipment, and kept me informed during the installation process. The explained the system in detail, taught me how to program the thermostat for both heating and cooling, and left that afternoon leaving no trace of their presence but the new unit and air handler. Three days later Mr. Waychoff arrived for the final inspection and immediately corrected one small item missed during the installation. I can not say enough about the professionalism and customer service proved by Mr. Waychoff and his company. I was not wrong in placing my trust with them and highly recommend them for any of your air conditioning needs. Stellar performance all-around.

We purchased our home about a year ago, and shortly after closing our A/C went out. We called the home warranty company, and wasted $60 for them to come out and do nothing. We then called Waychoff. The technician told us that the unit was on its last legs, but that there were a few, inexpensive things we could do to get a little more time with it. We really appreciated that he didn't try to upsell us things we didn't need and were very impressed with the service. Fast forward a year, and our A/C goes out again. We called Waychoff out again (same day), and we were again told that the unit was past its prime. The technician said we could try a kick starter on the unit to get it to work again (which it did), and he told us upfront that it could work for a few hours or a few months, but we decided it was worth a shot to avoid purchasing a new unit. Two days later, the unit died (on a Friday!) and we knew that was it. So this time we went straight to Waychoff sales. We worked with Tracy, and he was just great! He explained all of our options (high and low price points), and we went with a mid-priced unit. The earliest available install appointment they had was two days later, a Sunday. They came out bright and early, right on time, and the weekend install didn't cost us a penny extra. Additionally, Tracy loaned us a portable unit until they could do the install so that at least we could have our master bedroom cool. The loaner was no extra charge as well! The icing on the cake was that Tracy refunded our purchase of the kick starter unit that we had purchased a few days before, without our even asking for it. He said "it was the right thing to do". Very impressive. I can't say how their prices compare to other companies, because we were so happy with our previous dealings with them that we didn't even bother pricing other companies for the purchase. We typically shop EVERYTHING ... so for us, spending nearly $8,000 without getting so much as a second quote says how much we trust them. We highly recommend Waychoff.

They called me just before arriving to let me know they were on the way. I bought a foreclosed home & didn't know what to expect from the A/C unit. They performed a through review of the entire machine & cleaned out the drain lines. They recommended that several parts be replaced since they might fail at any time. They answered all my questions!

Service person was punctual, quick and took care of the problem. Cost was comparable to and lower than other estimates. I would call the company again if I needed them.

It went good. They were a good company. They were very prompt and professional. Good quality service clean workmen. They cleaned up fast.

Our AC unit died on the 28th, so I called a few companies to come out and quote us for a new unit on the 29th. Tracey Poor came out from Waychoff's late that same day and was easily the most professional and thorough of all the sales people I met that day. While all of the other sales men spent less than 10 minutes each at my house and provided a quote for only one brand of equipment, Tracey spent around an hour with me answering every question I had and explaining everything so that I could understand it and provided me with about 4 options that varied in price and brand. Tracey was also the only sales person that actually took the time to go into my attic and take a look at my duct work and insulation. The unit that we ended up going with was the exact unit that one of the other companies had also quoted me for, and while Waychoff's was not the cheapest quote I received, we decided to go with them because of the professionalism of Tracey. I called him back around 5:30 pm that evening and he set up the installation for 1:00 pm the next day. A few minutes before 1:00 pm on the 30th, an employee (I believe his name was Ian) knocked on my door saying he was there to begin removing the old unit and that the rest of the crew would be by shortly with the new equipment. He began working immediately and shortly thereafter was joined by Eric and Johnny with the new unit. The three of them seemed to work almost nonstop for the next 3 hours even continuing to work through the rain in the late afternoon. The job wrapped up right around 4:00 pm with Johnny showing me the functions of our new digital thermostat and Eric doing an inspection with me showing me the finished product and ensuring that the area was clean. The three of them cleaned up the areas they worked in very nicely. The next week, on June 5th, Tracey returned to ensure that the unit was functioning properly, that we were happy with the final product, and to provide us with the warranty paperwork that Waychoff's had filled out and sent in for us. He also collected our payment that day. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Waychoff's to anyone who needs work done on their heating and air system. The only area I couldn't give them an "A" rating in was price because as I said they were not the cheapest company on the exact same equipment, but I felt more comfortable with Waychoff's based on the professionalism of Tracey, and their ability to install the equipment quickly.

Repair went smoothly. Repairman did not have one of the needed parts, so someone from his company brought it out to my home for him. He was such a nice guy. I was freaking out a little as the part he replaced was actually blackened and could have started a fire in my 100+ year old Riverside house!! I asked him about a maintenance contract as we have just moved into this home and it needs some work and some deferred maintenance caught up. Look forward to seeing them again. Great experience!

The tech was prompt and got me going. The labor to replace the relay was high, but the ECG had the skills I needed.

They were very prompt, even early. He determined that there may be a potential leak and gave me the option on checking/searching for the leak or just replenishing the Freon. I choose replenishing the Freon it was less costly. He recommended they come back in the fall and check the Freon level to see if it was indeed a leak. Also I had a capacitor that needed to be replaced. The only disappointment was the system was fairly new and he did not check to see if the part was covered on the warranty until I asked him to do so. Other than that I was very happy with the service.

We originally used this provider last fall for an inspection and found that we needed a part to keep it running for a while. The system was 14 years old and we knew it was on its last leg. Joseph replaced the part and it worked well until a few days ago, when it completely went out on 6/5/2014. We called Waychoff, thinking we would have to wait a few days to get someone out to check it. Joseph was out in a matter of hours that evening and informed us of the problem. Unit now 15 years old and would require over $1500 to repair with no guarantee as to how long it would hold. We decided to upgrade and replace the compressor and the air handler. They were here the next morning and by early afternoon it was completely installed. These guys are great, know what they're doing and provide wonderful service. I would recommend them for all your ac/heating needs.

Short but sweet, responded to our call quickly, came out when they stated they would( within a few hrs after our call for help), fixed the issue, and charged a reasonable price!

I had several companies come out to give me quotes for a new HVAC system. Rick came to my house to examine the current system and provide recommendations for a new system. He was extremely knowledgable and provided recommendations on items such as the size of the return duct and didn't just try upwelling me on a larger system. He eventually helped pick a system that fit my needs and explained everything that goes into the system. The day of the install, the installers were promptly on time and got right to work. The work that was done looks great and better then I expected. The system works great and they were very professional. While the price was slightly higher than other quotes, many of which did not include all the work that Waychoffs performed. it was well worth the additional money for the being able to deal with the great team and system being installed so well.

Systems were checked, but nothing significant was done. Recommendations were made for optimal system performance.

Rick arrived on time and was very informative. I very nearly chose Waychoff's to do the replacement, but ultimately decided to go with another company. I obtained five estimates, and Rick was one of two who evaluated my ductwork. I can't picture a company providing an estimate to replace one major component from an entire system, without looking at the entire system. In this case, my heat pump was 16 years old and had been band-aided long enough. It needed to go, but the pump itself is only one part of a house's ventilation system. I wonder how many people have their A/C replaced, without someone sweating it out in the attic to inspect the ducts! I'm not talking about pushing for a duct cleaning service - I'm referring to the fact that if there is a kink in the flexpipe, or if it is not securely attached, then airflow is reduced and all the SEER ratings you buy would be wasted as you cool the attic. So, kudos to Rick for looking at the whole A/C system.

My condesnate pipe was clogged up and my auxillary pan was filling with water. He cleared it and repiped the pan so it doesn't need to fill up all the way to drain. Tech called before coming out, came out on time and was very polite and professional. Now everything runs great and I don't need to worry about water leaking onto my ceiling.

The whole process from selecting my new unit to final installation was simple and easy. Their salesman, Tracy Poor, showed up right on time and was very knowledgeable about the product lines his company carried. He laid out the units based on energy efficiency and price. He did not try to oversell me. I was very comfortable with the process. I selected a mid range Amana unit with an excellent warranty. On Friday of the same week the installation crew showed right on time and were finished by 1PM. They cleaned up and gave me a tutorial on the new thermostat features. I have been very impressed with the cooling capability of my unit and love the humidity control feature.

They came when they said they would come and our experience with them has been good. We've signed up for a special deal with them to do two inspections and as far I can recall, we paid $150 for both inspections.
