Sunshine State Seamless Gutters

I was very impressed with the thoroughness and professionalism shown by Chuck during the estimate. We had lower estimates from other contractors, but I was so impressed with how Chuck explained how everything would work, showing me the diagram, even taking the time to go over his licensing, and why he would not take any money, not even a deposit, until the job was complete. The actual installation was performed by his son and another crew member, and they were a pleasure to work with. They got the job done in the time they anticipated, were very professional and polite in walking me through what they'd done to make sure it met expectations, and left no trace behind that they'd been there. The only negative was that it was about 2 weeks before we had any rain! But once we started getting some rain again, we were able to verify that the gutters were draining as we'd hoped. A key concern for us because of issues with out last house was to ensure we did not have water been drained out near the entryway, and it worked exactly as we'd hoped. We couldn't be more pleased and highly recommend them.

The owner, Chuck, arrived on time for the appointment I had scheduled for an estimate. He provided a folder with information on his company and their process for installing gutters. He was very personable and professional, and more than willing to answer any questions I had. After taking the necessary measurements, he gave me an estimate. I was impressed when he suggested that in our circumstances, the gutter debris guards I was interested in probably were unnecessary. He worked up an estimate that included them and told me they could be installed at a later date if we felt we needed them. I was not aware gutters came in different colors nor could the downspouts be a color other than the gutters. I appreciated his suggestions and ultimately chose white gutters with downspouts that matched our hurricane shutters. Between the time of the estimate and the installation, I corresponded with Sunshine with emails to Bev. She is amazing and did everything in her power to make this process enjoyable. My email questions were promptly answered and I enjoyed our correspondence. On installation day, Chuck's son and his colleague arrived on time. They were also extremely personable, professional, and told me several times that if I had any questions or concerns to talk to the at any time. The gutters are beautiful. They did a wonderful job and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We recently built a new house and needed gutters installed. I did some research and contacted three companies for estimates. From the start Sunshine State Seamless Gutters was the best. Chuck provided a very professional estimate and explained in detail what was to be done and why. I was impressed with his approach compared to the other two companies who provided more typical estimates. After building a new house I've met with all sorts of trades people and by far Sunshine State stood out for doing things the right way instead of the easy way. Chuck and his wife Bev (who manages the office side of things) are very responsive and patiently answered my questions (as I like to dive into the details) and kept me posted on any scheduling changes in advance. Their son Chris arrived to install the gutters and he was also great. He and his team did a great job on the install and the gutters look great. They also have a better warranty than other local companies are offering. I didn't know much about gutters when this process started but I'm the type of person who wants to make the right choice for things like this and I'm certain we chose the right company for the job. They did excellent work!

Chuck, Beverly, and their install team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Chuck was professional and courteous when he came for our estimate and made sure to go over all aspects of the project. What really impressed me was his attention to detail with the estimate package that even included proof of insurance which kept me from having to do some digging. Also, their warranty is A LOT better than anyone else. There was a bit of wait time (approximately 2 months) from acceptance of the estimate to when we were able to schedule to get the gutters actually installed. However, this was an indication to me that their work was in high demand and my excellent experience with them and the quality of their work supported my thoughts. The install team arrived on schedule and on time and were very courteous. He even made sure to point out the features of the gutters, further explain their warranty, and assure us that if we had any problems that they would be there for us. They were even able to put a downspout in a difficult location where our sloped garage roof meets our entryway. This was necessary because this was a location where when it rained hard, would have a very heavy flow of water from a good height landing on our paver driveway which may have lead to problems with settling and washout down the road. The location does not offer much of an area to mount the gutter (poor design by the builder), but they got it done with a short collection piece with a downspout. The only issue we have had, I wouldn't even call it an issue, is that we found after the gutter was installed in this weird location was that when it rained hard, the water would shoot past the end of the short piece of gutter. This WAS NOT due to poor installation or poor design, they installed what the could with what the builder gave them. I brought this up to Chuck and Beverly and they provided an easy and quick solution with using a piece of shield at the end. Chuck was out that same week to install the shield and it works like a charm! I highly recommend Sunshine State Seamless Gutters!

Chuck showed up at appointed time and spent a lot of time explaining various issues and options on a job by another contractor. Did not try to sell me anything and even went so far as to make a couple of onsite modifications to fix the most serious problem AND DID NOT CHARGE ME. AMAZING! A true professional who knows his field. I let another contractor who had done my siding do the gutters as well and that was a mistake. However, with Chucks advice I am now confident I will get it straightened out. Highly recommended!

They're pricing was a lot better than other companies in the area. They were able to fit us in to their busy schedule very easily. Very professional and friendly. I would definitely use them again!

Contacted them because of their wonderful Angie's List reviews (and don't forget the 10% off for Angie's List members). They are a family owned and run business. Talked with Beverly (wife) in the office. Owner came out before we even moved in, emailed us a detailed proposal, and quoted two different options. We decided to go with his recommendations, which was about $1220. We had to schedule 6 weeks out. They came out on the scheduled date. The son, who is the installer, walked the site with me, and saw that we had added fencing and some landscaping, and from his many years of experience, saw and suggested that we would need some design modifications (or we would not be happy with the final product). He called up his dad and they discussed. The son did not have all the needed parts and he wanted to do it all at one time. So it was decided to do the install a few days later on Saturday. But when they came out it was raining too hard to do the install safely. Came back on Monday. Did the install (about 3 hours or so) with the new design. Everything looks perfect. Because of the new design the cost went up slightly from the quote. Which was fine with me. What I liked best was that the son/installer didn't just do his father's design, but looked again at our house and saw that we needed a slightly modified design. I am not an expert in gutters. They are. And they took the time to do what was needed based on their experience. Thank you.

I needed to replace the existing gutters on my home. They were not installed correctly (water collected on the end of the run opposite the down spout), and there were none along the sides of the house. After researching Angie's List, I chose this company to do the work. I called in July for an estimate. I was told that, due to workload, I couldn't be scheduled until September. I agreed to wait. I would rather have "good" than "fast"! Today Chris, the owner's son, and his helper arrived at 8:00 AM, removed the old gutters, and installed a new system around the entire house. It is obvious, through every step in this process, that the owners, Chuck Fields and his wife, and their son Chris, are very proud of their business and the quality of work they do. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

100% satisfied with this company. Very professional and honest people. Explained how gutters can be affected by settling homes, slab variations and most important...framing. A level never lies and they provided me a best case scenario which happened to also be the less inexpensive route. Installed a downspout where the roof pitch is too low and tweaked the corners for a smooth blend of water distribution. I would recommend them to anyone! I decided to join Angie's list just to give this company a rating they deserved.

I called to get gutters installed all the way around my house and was told I could not even get a estimate for almost three weeks and the job won't even be started for two months.

This family owned business did an outstanding job! I cannot express my gratitude enough for Sunshine State Seamless Gutters. Professional from beginning to end. They showed up on time, walked thru what was to be done and verified that the downspout locations where were I wanted them. After the completed the job they made sure the yard was cleaned up of any debris. I would highly recommend this company for you gutter needs!! 09/08/2014 - Update! It's been almost a month since I had this fantastic company come out and install the gutters. We've had some pretty heavy rains come through in that time and the gutters are performing outstanding! My porches are no longer flooding and the mulch in my front flower bed is no longer being washed away. Also, my soffits remain dry and are no longer prone to rot due to the water wrapping under the facia. I have been recommending you to all of my friends and co-workers! Keep up the great work!

Extremely professional, friendly. They were prompt, put up gutters and cleaned up afterwards. I had a house number plate and asked if they could put it up for me. Without hesitation he said "of course we can do that for you". I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

what can I say, no more gutter problems...

I would highly recommend Sunshine State Seamless Gutters. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. I had 4 estimates. Gutter helmet was the first and they were high pressure (used car salesman) approach and their initial estimate was just over 3 times more than everyone else. Everyone else came in at about the same price for the same work. Beverly runs the office and keep the schedule. Chuck came out and gave the estimate and answered all of my questions before I signed the contract. The estimate and contract were easy to understand and Chuck went over all of that. Chuck and Beverly's son did the install (I'm horrible with names and can't remember his right now). All three were very friendly and very helpful. My house is brick with white trim. They installed white gutters and asked what color downspouts I would like. It never occurred to me that I could get different colors. After talking with Beverly I told her that the shutters are painted black. She suggested black downspouts. She looked on Google Maps to see a picture of my house and said she thought it would look good. She wanted to ask Chuck's opinion but he was out giving estimates and unavailable at the time. Chuck had been to my house already. He agreed with Beverly. Beverly called me back later in the day saying they both agreed. They were right, it looks great. I just moved into this house. I put two fresh coats of paint on before they came. Between the paint and the gutters it has made a drastic improvement in how good my house looks from the street. I was told that the install would take most of a full day. A couple days before they were supposed to come out to my house Beverly called to confirm. I made an off hand comment about working until 2am and that I would be sure to have my alarm set so I could be waiting for them at 8. The next day Beverly called asking if they could come at 10 instead of 8. They had a small job they could fit in before coming to my house. I was happy to move the time back a couple of hours. They were at my house at 10am. The job took less than 6 hours. The son and the helper were both very friendly and did their jobs with a smile the whole time. I can't recommend them highly enough.

There are no words to express my gratitude to Sunshine State Seamless Gutters. When I first contacted them, they promptly scheduled an appointment. Chuck, the owner, came over and I expressed to him that I knew nothing about gutters and complemented him on all the outstanding reviews on Angie's List. I shared with him areas of concerned and he told me that installing gutters would take care of the problem. He made suggestions, which made sense to me, and gave me a written proposal before he left. After meeting him, I decided that I did not need a second quote and cancelled the appointment I had made with another company. I immediately contacted the office and requested installation. They installed the gutters at a time that was mutually convenient. Outstanding customer service. Chris came to install the gutters and just as his parents had told me, he was a perfectionist. He was punctual and addressed my questions. When he finished the installation, one of the gutter seemed slanted and he show me by placing the level in various places that it was installed correctly and straight. He also informed me that my house had a very slight incline; I could not believe it. He also demonstrated to my husband that the gutter was straight by placing the level in different places on top of the gutter. He told me that he could make it so it looked parallel to the roof but then the work would not be warranty. I told him that it was fine and he kept asking me if I was ok. To remedy the accumulation of water in two different places the correct installation was critical. We were satisfied with the work, and most importantly, they were hired because they were professionals and knew their craft. We are very pleased with the work done and will hire them again. Needless to say, I mentioned what we had discovered about the house to my grandson and after smiling, he said "Grandma haven't you notice how the water in the fish tanks is slightly slanted". Chuck came to the house, took measurements and gave me an immediate quote. This was on April 24th. After the initial visit by Chuck, I decided I wanted an additional area of the house fitted with gutters. I emailed Beverley the diminisions and she quickly provided a quote. She is very good about providing information and keeping you in-the-loop. Because they are in such high demand, the work was not done until June 12th, but it was worth the wait. Chris and his partner did excellent work! Highly Recommend!!

After reading Angie's List reviews for a number of providers, we decided to call Sunshine State for our project. Chuck (owner) came out to give us estimate. We were impressed when he gave us a folder with information about his family-owned business, the vendors that they use and the materials available (pros/cons for our specific job), along with his recommendation to correct the small pond that develops in our front flower bed when it rains. Our whole experience was great! It is evident that Sunshine State really cares about delivering excellent service - not only with Chuck's thorough estimate/presentation, but interactions with his wife who scheduled everything for us and his son and partner who did our installation. Our new gutters and pop up drain were tested for the first time yesterday - they handled the afternoon deluge flawlessly! FYI - I gave a "NA" for price because after reading the stellar reviews and meeting with Chuck, we were sold and didn't need to do any comparison shopping.

We were installing a pavestone driveway and needed to move our downspouts so they wouldn't drain out on it. Sunshine was quick to respond to our small request and the charges were very reasonable. We were pleased to see that they reacted so quickly to our small project because that isn't always the case with other companies.
