WE were very pleased with the repair men that were on time,friendly and explained what they were doing .

Prompt, fast and courteous, and when I asked the name of the lubricant he used, he actually gave me the can he was using. .

In short, the whole experience was very satisfactory. Professional, knowledgeable, on time, and with high quality work.

Very good service and excellent price. Installation of keyless entry pad and tuned up my garage door and it doesn't squeak anymore.

Brooks was very polite and professional. The opener was installed in a reasonable amount of time and it works very well. He made sure I could use the instrument in my car to open and close the door. He took everything away with him so no mess was left behind. I would highly recommend this company.

Arrived promptly on time, got right to work and explained to me what was wrong and how he proposed to fix it and what it would cost. I approved the plan and within 30 minutes he was done and door works fine now. Very professional. Will definitely call again if I have any more problems with my door.

The cable on my 1980's era garage door broke after business hours on Thursday evening. I had just received my Angie's List magazine in the mail, and looked at the ads for garage door companies. I called America's Garage Door that evening, and was able to schedule an appointment for 8-10 am the next morning. (I had been planning to replace the whole door and opener anyway, so I didn't even ask about repairing the existing problem.) The sales agent called around 8:30 am the next day to confirm my address and let me know he was on his way. He arrived promptly and gave me a quote on a new door and opener, which I was happy with. He called his office to schedule the installation, and told me someone would be out in the next couple of hours. About an hour later I got a call from the installer, he said he had been double booked and was on his way to another job, but he would be here between 1:00 and 3:00. I had already taken the day off work since I could leave my house with a half-open, broken garage door, so it wasn't a problem, but I was a bit dissappointed. He then called around 2:30 to say he would be a bit later but was very apologetic. The installers finally arrived around 4:30 pm, but again apologized for being later than expected. I know things happen and I definitely wouldn't hold it against them. They worked quickly and got both the door and opener installed to my satisfaction. I would definitely call them again if I need work done on my garage door.

Tech showed up on time and was very pleasant. repaired the spring and gave some suggestions to improve the volume of the garage while opening.

This was the second time that I have used A1A Overhead Door Co. and have been TOTALLY SATISFIED both times. I called them to repair an automatic garage door opener that was not functioning. The lady who answered the phone was very friendly and professional. She gave me a two hour time slot in which to expect a technician. Jarad arrived earlier that I expected him, which was a pleasant surprise. In less than an hour, he fixed the problem and even checked the other garage door at no additional expense. He was punctual, polite and professional. I could not ask for better service. It's great to have a company I can depend on again and again.

The service call was $30 which took less than a half an hour. Two spring were $338. I complained that the price was excess but since I did not have the expertise to do myself, I let them do the installation. I did pay close attention. My wife went ballastic when she heard the cost and called the company to complain. They agreed to refund $50 which we never saw. Also the tension on the spring was set improperly and I ended up adjusting the tension myself. I would definately not recommend this company.

My mother called this company needing to fix a stuck garage door. When they arrived she made the mistake of saying she wished she had a third remote to use with the garage door opener. The service guy immediately switched out the controller box and gave her three remotes (She already owned two remotes for the nationally manufactured garage door opener). She was charged $250 and they did not fix the original problem with the sticking door (the fix lasted a day). When I discovered how my mother had been bamboozled, I called the technician from America's Choice and said I would return the controller box he installed and the three remotes. I reiterated that she was only asking for a third remote and she was overcharged. The technician was rude and stated that he was capable of determining my 80 year old mother's state of mind and that she was happy with the service. When I insisted to talk to the owner, he said he was the owner (NOT) and basically told me to 'take a hike'. I would not deal with this company since they obviously prey on people.

They did a professional job and completed it in one day.
