Description of Work: I originally needed the silencing package but have had other trouble with my garage door before so I took in upgraded package. Haven't used the upgrade yet but they changed upgraded the spring and several other parts beyond the silencing package. It works very well now.

Description of Work: Install a single garage door remote opener. The installer showed-up on time but the quality of his job wasn't the best. He didn't cleaned-up after he finish and worked with dirty hands leaving prints all over the garage. | |He has to return to fix some wires that were not tight and to bring the lights bulbs for the unit. | |I was really disappointed since I research this company on Angie's List before I called them and gave them the job.

Description of Work: I called for general maintenance to the door, which had not been done for several years. The technician also pointed out that the wood block to which the track was attached was cracked and had separated from the wall. Since he had the time and the material, I requested that he make the repair at that time. The door is now operating smoothly and quietly and I have no worry that the track will become detached. The technician was very professional, explained everything, and showed me the split wood block. I intend to call Precision for annual maintenance as well.

Description of Work: They installed the quiet rails and inspected the system including the opener drive motor. The inspection revealed that the door springs were about to fail and this was causing the door to bounce and reopen plus put strain on the motor. The door now opens and closes perfectly. The service was excellent and the installation was done very quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend this company for any new installation or repair work.

Description of Work: My garage door was about to spring a spring!! Larger springs put in place. A balance test was done. Everything greased up (so to speak!). More things were done, but just can't remember all. The gentleman was very knowlegable and did the work and cleaned up everything. All went very well. I can now life my garage door up if lose power with one hand!! A lot was explained to me as to what was going to be done.

Description of Work: Replace broken garage door springs

Description of Work: Original call was for a broken spring and he suggested to do an overhaul instead because they could not guarantee the springs would not have issues because of the existing rollers and would void their warranty, so I reluctantly paid the extra $300+. After the service man left, and I was in my car ready to leave for work and as I was closing the garage, I saw three (3) oily black, dirty hand prints on the outside bottom of my beige garage door!! I had to go back in my house and scrub them off as I thought it would stain the light beige paint if I didn't. That night when I came home, I noticed my sensor light in my garage had stopped working. I didn't notice they were not working when he was there because we were inside the garage reviewing the repairs and the light was on the entire time. Well, the second person came out and couldn't figure it out and asked if we had the manual. So I had to dig it up and and he still couldn't fix it. He claimed the sensor should have never worked on that model and couldn't understand how. Well, it was working fine before the 1st guy decided to replace the bulbs and now it's broken!! My sensor is still not working and no one from their company even called to follow up on my 2nd repair. Poor service and poor excuses!!
