They're a good vet and I would keep using them. Everything is perfect there and I've never had a problem. I'd definitely recommend them!

Each time I've seen them, they've been great. B+ overall. All the vets we've seen have been very good and skilled. I like that they're open 24 hours, but one of the things I don't like is that there are no chairs in the emergency in-processing room.

The procedure went great and they were all fantastic! From the time I walked in to the time we left, they were very nice and professional. There was nothing negative about it! The place is very clean, too. Their prices are in line with the others in the area. They checked up on us the next day -- I'll definitely use them again!

Vet was patient and caring throughout the process; however, could not provide an exact diagnosis of our pet's condition, which made the decision to euthanize our pet even more difficult. Once the decision was made, the vet was considerate of our wishes and made every effort to accommodate us.

The staff and physicians were very professional. I had been searching for an orthopedic to perform the TPLO surgery my dog required. I was quoted a price from my veterinarian of a surgeon he recommended. I decided to do a search on Angie's list for one closer to where I live. I found Hollywood Animal Hospital, which is very close to me. I saw that it had many good reviews so I did some research. I decided to bring my dog for a consultation. I met with Dr. Jon Dee and Dr. Johnathan Arango who explained the procedure and recovery. They also went over the price for the surgery. The price quoted was considerably better than the other. I also felt more comfortable with the level of experience Dr. Jon Dee has performing this type of surgery. The procedure went well and its going on 3 weeks since. She will be still recovering for a while, but I am very happy with the results so far.

They have someone who specializes in feline diabetes and are very attentive. You can go in 24/7 for emergencies, and they have been able to handle all our problems well. Their prices are also very reasonable and we have never had any billing problems with them.

They are good; I like that animal hospital. They are friendly and helpful. I will go there if I have an emergency. They are on top of everything and know what they are doing. It has been family-run for about 65 years.

It was okay. They were the only ones that were open. They were very nice. Everybody pretty much charges the same. Our regular vet wouldn't take him because it was after hours.

My experience has been good. They are well known and have an expert in almost every area. They are open 24/7. It is a specialty practice and is not my normal vet. All the experts and vet techs, including the beginning doctors from the University of Florida, all go here. That is why they can provide 24/7 care because they are newer vets just starting out and they work there for the experience.

Very well. We have used several docs at HAH, and all are great. I am not going to mention our favorite, because i don't want her to get any busier!!

they were very helpful when I brought my very old dog which is not with me anymore.There wasn't much the could do but they treat him like a king and were very gentle

We were directed to Hollywood Animal Hospital by a 24 hour Pet Emergency Service in South Miami. Ten days earlier my dog began to have problems with her left eye. We saw our primary care vet and were referred to a local specialist. We had made several visits to the specialist and were using drops and prednisone. Late on a Saturday afternoon she begin to be very uncomfortable. The specialist's was closed, but message machine directed us to Pet Emergency Service. Staff there worked with us for a long time trying to get eye pressure to go down. When they were not able to give her relief, they got in touch with Dr. Swinger in Hollywood. He said that he need to see the dog, so we drove up. He was waiting for us when we arrived, took her in and begin to try a procedure to get pressure relieved. We left her over night and Sunday and Monday they continued to work with her. On Tuesday he consulted with me and my regular vet and the decision was made to remove the eye. Pathology reveled it was a rare, but benign tumor. Dr. Swinger and his staff were terrific. They were very good about explaining situation to me. And about responding to concerns while she was in their care. I tried not to over-do it, but any calls or emails I made to them were returned within the hour. And they called me to with status reports. No hesitation about taking my dog to them again. Excellent care.

My dog was extremely I'll and unfortunately died a few hours later. From the first moment we arrived the staff was so kind and compassionate. The vet explained her treatment plan and reassured me that my sweet mikey would be comfortable. 45 mins after I left I received a call that he suddenly passed. I went back to the hospital and they brought me my mikey wrapped in a blanket he looked so peaceful and allowed me the time I needed to say good bye. I received such kindness and hugs. The vet sent a set of paw prints. When I returned to pick up his ashes there were many hugs. Later I received a sympathy card from the staff. Even though it was a very tough sad time the staff made it a postive experience.

With everything added with the antibiotics and everything, I thought it was expensive. I like the office and I like the people in there but I think it’s expensive. They have a large group of vets so there’s always somebody you can see if your vet happens to be off. The office is clean and it’s run very professionally.

After examining dog, referred me to a different vet. for further tests for a possible additional problem. It took a long, long time. They were very nice. I even had to wait 40 minutes just to pay for the services.

Routine care for four German Shorthaired Pointers 2008 to present, plus: Cedric, 12 years old, had cancer, had lost a lot of weight, then a stroke, ER was asked to DNR, and upon a second stroke, Cedic was allowed to die; it was time. Treatment was thorough and very sensitive. Theodore, 14, had deteriorated physically and had advanced dementia; euthanasia was done quickly and with great sensitivity. Ernest, then an active 15, had a seizure, went to ER, was treated overnight, and was referred to Southeast Veterinary Neurology for MRI and removal of a brain tumor. He recovered very quickly; then two months later decided to eat his bed's sinewous fiberfill, which required emergency major gut surgery (enterotomy and splenectomy) at 6 pm on a Saturday. Dr. Murphy and associates immediately rescheduled their own plans for the evening and performed the three hours operation, which went very well. Ernest recovered quickly and fully. The following year, when Ernest was 16, he contracted pneumonia which proved resistant to three kinds of antibiotics; he made two trips to the ER. I was in denial, but then I realized it was time for euthanasia, which was done quickly and, again, very sensitively. Daisy, 14, continues her regular exams and shots. She is doing splendidly. I cannot say enough good things about my six year experience (through some very grim times) with all the staff at Hollywood Animal Hospital. I am grateful to them for their consistent diligence and professionalism.

We love Dr. Sussa. He is an exceptional, loving, and caring vet. We take all of our animals there. We've been going to him for more than 20 years.

Taped my doberman puppies ears up. They do a wonderful job and are very gentle with my dog. She has yet to have a bad experience at the Hollywood Animal hospital.

I've been taking my dog to HAH for about 8 years, since he was a puppy. It's great that there is such a large staff - that means you can always get an appointment quickly. I find the doctors to be concerned about the animals and to be very competent. However, the support staff (receptionists/cashiers) are not usually very helpful or friendly. It is not unusual to stand waiting for assistance while many of them are huddled together talking in another section of the room. I would understand if they at least acknowledged the clients who are waiting, but that is not the case. Also, the people who make appointments are also less than helpful. For example, if you want to make an appointment with a very experienced vet instead of one of the rookies, their tone of voice discourages you from getting the doctor you want - they will tell you in a very negative tone that you can't see that doctor for a long time. I understand having to wait for an experienced doctor, but don't cop an attitude because I don't want someone who just got their license to perform surgery on my dog. One time, I purchased heartworm medication for my dog - the cashier handed me medicine that was for a dog much larger than mine. I didn't realize it until I got to my car... then went back to get the correct medicine. The cashier looked at me like she didn't understand why I was upset that she gave me medication that would have poisoned my dog. Another time I was there, a woman came to pick her dog up from boarding. The staff had overfed her dog despite the instructions she left on the dog's food. She was understandably really upset that the staff obviously didn't follow her directions, but the people behind the counter just blew her off. I was furious on her behalf. Overall, I would not allow for support staff issues to keep me from bringing my dog there - but I sure wish that the customer service was much improved.

It was not a cosmetic job but she has heeled and we are happy that they were there.

It was a sat morning & crazy busy. My cat was very ill & we had been up all night. Receptionist had mercy on us & let us wait in the back hallway. Very grateful for that! Dr Swinger & his nurse were wonderful even help to correct problems from another animal hospital the prior day. They gave me liquid medicine & a liquid diet for my cat. My cat did not survive everything else he had going on but Dr Swinger & his nurse did everything they could to help us. I am eternally grateful to them & highly recommend them!

The service was fine. They were all very nice and professional. I have no complaints.

It was great - a truly wonderful experience. Everybody is very nice there, and they took good care of my dog.
