How did it go? The flooring itself seems to be of acceptable quality. This is a prefinished floor and the average plank length appears to be about 3 ft. Final note. My kitchen backsplash was recently replaced due to the flood damage. When we pulled out the stove, there were rear levelers which fell off. You could see where in the initial flooring they had put wood floor underneath the stove so levelers were not required. They did not replace the floor under the stove and with a glass cooktop, I might have cracked it when moving the stove. I had the same person who put in the putty replace the missing planks under the stove.
Description of Work: I had a flood in my home. Endurance installed the original floor in 1994 when the house was built. The original floor was good material and excellent install. Endurance refinished the original floor about 2-3 years ago and had no problems. For the current installation they were helpful with the quotes and information for the insurance company and I was fully reimbursed for the cost of replacing the floor . The old floor (glue down on concrete slab) had to be taken out, slab prepared and new wood installed. The job was suppose to be finished in two weeks while I was out of town. Upon returning home, the job was maybe half finished. The kitchen, dining room and some other spots were not finished. I walked into all my furniture being stacked in the living room and my kitchen appliances in the middle of the kitchen area. I believe it was another week or two until the job was completed. I had to reconnect my stereo, TV, Blu-Ray and DISH myself since their job supervisor who disconnected the electronics was out on medical leave. The main complaint is quality of workmanship. There were a lot of spaces between the planks due to poor installation. Probably 15-20% % of the planks have open spaces between them. In the kitchen the spaces were accumulating crumbs. There are also some low spots in the slab now. They came out one time to epoxy/putty the space in the floor, however little was done. I spoke with the owner a month or so later and someone was suppose to come out and fill the spaces. Never showed or called. I had someone else fill the spaces with putty, he spent about 1 1/2 days finishing the task.
