A-Best Painting Contractors

We are very happy with the services provided and the outcome of the job. The painters, Tom and Debbie, were very neat, respectful and timely. We thought this job would take several days, be messy and inconvenience us. The job took only a day and a half and was no in convince at all. Best yet, no payment was due until the job was complete and we were happy. We will use them again and highly recommend them.

Richard did a wonderful job of keeping in touch with me, since our negotiations were made through email as I was on vacation. We arranged for a day that was convenient for me and his people showed up on time and ready to work. The estimate was that it might take 3 days. He sent 3 workers and they were very professional and worked together well as a team. They knocked the job out in one long day. That worked out great for me since it game me more time to get thing organized afterwards. I had moved my personal items and they moved all the furniture and put down drop cloths to catch any drips or splattering. It is great to have clean beautiful walls again. There were just a couple tiny things that I called Richard about and he sent his partner out the next day and he quickly fixed these minor mistakes. Overall, I would definitely call him again when I needed painting done. The only thing I wish was different, was I wish he took credit cards. I had planned on getting miles on my card for this work and was a little disappointed but I understand the problems associated with credit cards.

They came out to give the estimate. They were here only about 5 minutes. Just one person came out. He was professional. He came out on time.

Richard was very responsive and from the time I made contact until we agreed on price and date it took about a week, including his estimator measuring our office. He was very accommodating give that we did not want to close the office while work was being performed. Richard and I never met as I was traveling while the job was been done, but everyone at the office mentioned how smooth the process was. I would use them again, and in fact I am planing on doing so for my home. Thanks for being straight forward and super easy to deal with.

The owner came out to assess the job and provided an estimate and we have signed a contract. The job is expected to take about two weeks. I went to him because of what I read in the reviews on Angie's List. I'd tell my friends and family that he is knowledgeable about what he does and knows people that do good work. He surrounds himself with knowledgeable people that also do a good job.

I'm an out of state owner with a sitting tenant. The tenant sent pictures and it became clear the condo needed painting. A-Best sent an estimator over almost immediately, coordinating directly with the tenant. Although only the kitchen and bathrooms were in dire need of paint, they quoted on painting the bedrooms and LR/DR as well. I could see that the price for including these rooms was very reasonable and went with the whole thing to give the tenant a fresh apartment. I also discussed the brand and grade of paint as well as other small patching jobs. Apparently, they did it all and the tenant is thrilled, as am I. If you are an out of state owner who is renting out your condo, you would be well served to work with this company. (You deal directly with the president/owner of the company, which is also reassuring.)

Richard came and gave me an estimate to paint our high traffic areas and retouch chipped walls and thresholds. His crew of two came promptly after the contract was signed and worked diligently. They did a great job of working around our employees during the day and even walked around with me afterwards to fix any spots that I noticed. They removed any nails in the walls and spackled them to look like new. They are truly accommodating and will do anything to make sure the job is done to your standards.

Very Professional and Courteous. The Crew of 6 came in prep paint and cleaned up perfect. It was a bid job and A-Best performed above all standard. Will recommend very highly.

No work preformed due to our distance from the company's location, but a very punctual and pleasant response.

The provider was the best. From the time of contact for information, getting an estimate, to deciding to signing a contract with them, until the completed project, the company was extremely courteous, on time each day, very professional, and gave frequent status reports on the work progress until completed. I would highly recommend this provider in the future.

From the first phone call to the last details of the job, everything went very smoothly. I've had a lot of contract work done at my home and have been frustrated with giving a big deposit and wondering when and if the workers were going to show up from one day to the next. A-Best's painters were at the job every day before 8 AM and returned every day until the job was completed. The work was neatly and expertly done, no mess for me to clean up afterwards. I didn't have to pay a penny until the job was completed and no one hounded me for the check. It was wonderful! I was so impressed with the work that my business partner and I immediately scheduled for an interior paint project at our office. I will definitely contact A-Best Painting for my interior painting. We had all of our office doors painted, the trim, the baseboards and a couple of rooms. Debbie was in control, organized, and efficient. There were a few hours of work that went into preparing the doors, trim, and walls that were to be painted, which resulted in a fantastic job. All of the painters that were on the job were friendly, efficient, and very professional. The attention to detail was noticed and very much appreciated.

Richard is a pleasure to work with and so is his staff. He is very responsive, easy to reach and very honest. I would definitely work with him again in the future and have recommended his service to others.

Called for an estimate. They came out promptly, called in a couple of days with a price. I gave the go-ahead and they were out within a week to pressure clean. Started painting the next day and came every day until complete. Found some rotten wood which was replaced at a fair price, without delaying the painting. .Good workers, showed up on time, cleaned up as they went, never any mess at the end of the day. No delays at all. they did a really nice job. Would be happy to recommend this company.

Richard and his team were professionals from start to finish. I received a quote within days of a crew member coming out to assess the scope of the job. We were on a tight budget, and Richard was willing to work with me on the quoted price. Overall we are very satisfied with the quality of the work. A-Best painted the entire exterior of our house, including hard to reach areas, and made sure to painstakingly caulk and seal each window. The steel posts at on our back patio, including the undersides of our roof were perfectly primed and painted, as were our front door. There were a few minor miscommunications here and there, but Richard and his team made sure to address them promptly and professionally. Sidenote - I don't expect vendors to execute their projects flawlessly (hey, we're all human), but I do expect them to have accountability and care about their reputations. In this regard, A-Best is head and shoulders above the rest. Where many painters (especially in Miami) would have shrugged and handed off the problem to you, the hapless customers, Richard and his team stepped up and made sure to finish the job with perfection. I highly recommend A-Best Painting to anyone who cares about the aesthetics of their house. We are design freaks, and very particular about the finer details. Hire them. You won't find any better.

They were amazing!!! I am very attention detailed and tell all contractors prior to them accepting the job that I see EVERYTHING!! So, if A-Best wanted the job they would have to be meticulous in their paint job because I will not be happy if I see crack, splatters or crooked lines. Not only did they do a perfect paint job, they even caulked the cracks between the base boards and flooring from the installation of wood floors from previous owner. They definitely went above and beyond to make me happy!!

Richard was professional, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. During initial meeting for estimate helped to match paint tor exterior patio required by Home Owner's Assoc. Work to be done agreed upon and scheluled within the week. Painters were punctual, skilled, friendly -- a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Richard and his team and will use them for any future painting needs.

We got several estimates. A-Best Painting Contractors was the most responsive and prompt. After the initial visit, they emailed a very professional contract with a breakdown of the work they would perform. Once we selected them, they were able to come out within a week to do the work: they worked within our schedule. The painters were professional, efficient, and paid a great deal of attention to detail. It was high quality work. A-Best Painting Contractors is certainly not the cheapest route, but the responsiveness and the attention to detail was worth the extra money to us.

I am only in Fort Lauderdale periodically, so my schedule was limited. That was not a problem, they started on the date committed to and finished the next day (Fri/Sat). The carpenter and painters did great work, cleaned up after and end result is better than what I started with. Although this was a small job, I did not feel like a small customer.

Richard is very customer-service oriented, it's refreshing to have an owner be so on top of every step. The two painters he sent out we're great, Candy was the foreman and she was punctual and communicative. I'm very happy with the job they did.

The sales rep arrived at the appointed time, took a walk around the house, didn't explain any of the work that would be required to do the job and sent a quote the next day via email. He was the highest priced out of 4 contractors and not impressed with his professionalism at all.

I was very pleased with their performance, very prompt and everything. He is making me a believer, finding good people are hard to come by.

My house is being prepped to be rented out and I had Richard come over to do an estimate. The estimate was detailed and thorough, and even included puttying and sanding of scratches that our cats put in the molding around a couple of doors in the house. Richard was patient while we coordinated everything by phone after the original visit to do the estimate since I was away on business the entire time. They began work on Monday and were done on Wednesday and simply put, the place looks GREAT! Discolorations on the ceiling are gone, the trim is neatly done, and even the scratches on the door frames were fixed before they were painted. Toward the end of the job Richard offered me the option of having the doors in the house painted since they looked a little dingy now, compared to the new paint in the rest of the house. He offered to do it at a reduced rate and I took him up on it. It's obvious they take a lot of pride in their work. I'm glad I called them and would not hesitate to call them again.

A good experience in every way-from an estimate submitted when promised to final follow up. The staff did an excellent job. There was a lot of peeling paint on our house that had to be scraped off and the clean up afterwards was thorough.. In fact, there were many fewer paint chips left on the ground than I expected. We are very happy with the results and have already recommended A-Best to a friend. Thanks to Richard and all his staff.

Deb and Tom were terrific to deal with. Arrived at or before 8:00 each morning and worked thru. A 2 day job turned into a full 3 days because of very difficult ductwork and piping they had to work around in my loft apartment with 13 foot ceilings. Cheerfully moved furniture. Some of the patching and trim work they did was unsatisfactory but a phone conversation with Richard (followed by several pleasant and professional email exchanges) resulted in repairs and repainting by his partner Tom. I am completely satisfied with the end result. Not every job works perfectly, and all of us have off days. These folks fixed the problem, were completely professional, and left me totally satisfied.
