Premium Painters

I am a recent member to Angie's List but had to retroactively applaud Premium Painters because they did such a great job. I don't remember exactly when the work was done but it was several years ago. First of all our property is quite off the grid, very rural, & we frequently have trouble getting anyone to come out for any number of issues. But David came right out & gave an estimate (Nov 2008.) As it turned out we were unable to do the work after the initial estimate. They evidently kept our info & the following 2 years Mary (?) called to see if we were ready to have the work done. We were not, but I was impressed with that follow up. I believe it was the year after that we finally had the money to do the work. Premium Painters adhered to the original estimate (!!!) & completed the work in A DAY. They did an excellent job. I still am not tired of looking at our house now (I hated the old color.) I am now saving to have a kitchen re-model & have held on to Premium's brochure as I have every intention of asking them to do the re-painting after. Thanks David & Premium!

They did a very good job. Very professional, efficient, punctual, and thorough. The price was very reasonable. I would use them again and would recommend them to others.

We are SO GLAD we hired this company. We had a major paint job to a house we just closed on, and our painter fell through at the last minute. I saw these people's ad that said "large crews so we can get the job done fast" so I called them. Mike Rizzo, one of the owners, came out the same day-- can't ask for better response time-- and worked with our designer to draw up a very detailed estimate which I so appreciated because I hate when people charge you up based on unanticipated work. He measured everything and was very thorough. Because of our move date (the next week), they could get a large crew on our job very quickly. Sure enough 10 PAINTERS showed up first day (partially because of an exterior job being postponed due to rain so maybe I was lucky). I thought this job could take weeks to have done, but they will have it done in a matter of days. Plus, Mike has worked so well with my designer and me, proactively communicating with both of us to help us prevent mistakes. Mike is all over his paint crews and over at the house supervising several times a day. I am so grateful. There are few times contractors make your life easier, and they are in the rare category that has!

Was very satisfied with the work completed. Was told it would take about 3 days, and was a bit skeptical if they were going to finish on time as there were 3 painters who showed up the first day, 2 the next, and only 1 the third day. However they did get the job done as promised. All the painters were very courteous and experienced. I was somewhat disappointed that there was no follow up call by the sales person to see if everything was done to my satisfaction, but if he did call, I would have told him that it was.

The experience was wonderful. The person who came to give us the estimate was very good and was here the first day they started painting. The painting crew was very clean, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Everything was good and I had a very good experience. I plan to have them paint the exterior of my house after hurricane season.

Was a little concerned because they were the lowest estimate of three. However, they brought in a crew of 4 to 6 painters each day to get the job done quickly because of the weather. They were very patient with me in choosing colors and brought by samples several times before I made a selection. They did a great job. They did not even pick up the final payment until today aweek after the job was completed. We have received many compliments from neighbors walking by the house. One even commented how they couldn't believe it was done so quickly. Several neighbors ask for estimates from this company because of the work that they viewed on our house.

Rob Ginebra came to our home and provided a free, detailed price estimate to replace rotting wood and stain the exterior of the house. He was polite, knowledgeable, and extremely profession. I had inquired with other local paint companies to do this work, however, one company felt the job was too big and the other company did not want to do the carpentry work. Even my neighbor, a licensed, professional carpenter, inquired of me, ?Where did you find painters that would do woodwork?? ?On Angie?s List,? I informed him. Premium Painters began work on 4/24/12 and completed it on 5/3/12. On Tuesday they arrived with three workers: one who pressured cleaned the entire exterior, another (introduced to me as ?Martin? and appeared to be the supervisor) who identified and began removing rotting wood, and Rob himself. Wednesday, approximately 7 workers arrived and were all working specific tasks. No one was ever idle, working through a solid 8 hour-plus day. Thursday there were approximately 5 workers, and Friday there were 4. The workers were prompt every day with an 8 am start. I never saw them take work breaks. Even their lunch seemed to be while working on-the-go. They were not only hard-working; they demonstrated empathy when they re-located a bird?s nest they found with two un-hatched eggs and again later, when they discovered two live baby birds, which they safely put out of harm?s way to survive. Each evening prior to leaving, they meticulously cleaned up the work area. Before they stacked the rotting wood that was to be removed by county trash collectors, they inquired with me when trash pickup would be and where I would prefer to have the wood placed. Their hand stacked pile looked as if it had been done by a machine! The workers made a point to respectfully and politely thank me for the meager lunches and drinks I provided them. Their workmanship was superb. They even ensured that each new wood panel installed on the home was primed on its backside before being installed on the home. Two coats of stain were used throughout and every edge and corner subject to weather was caulked to a pristine finish. I know the job was much bigger than they themselves expected. That?s what happens sometimes with rotting wood ? you start to remove it and find even larger areas that need to be addressed. Nonetheless, they diligently ensured that the job was done correctly and professionally. We are extremely satisfied with Premium Painters and would highly recommend them to anyone considering any painting job. Thank you all for a job well done.

It went pretty well. Premium painters were responsive and punctual when they came in to give a quote. It was a good experience and they also did a follow-up call after 2-3 weeks from the initial quote to check if there were any updates. We did not go with them only because we got a word-of-mouth reference of another painter whose quote was also slightly less than Premium Painters' quote. All in all it was a good experience.

They were very efficient, clean, and easy to work with.

Everything went extremely well and we were very satisfied. I had received 5 bids for the job and this company was not the lowest bid but also not the highest bid. We picked our colors and they scheduled the job. The job included a fairly major wood removal and replace with stucco job as well as the exterior repair and paint. Once they started, we decided that we did not like the trim color that we picked and they were very accomodating in changing the color. I would definetely recommend to friends and family.

Person came out right away and gave us an estimate. After giving them the go ahead they scheduled us within a week. We had bad weather so they came the following week. They were done in 4 days.

Lousy. Left a really bad taste. Premium actually gives any professional service provider who claims to "meet or beat a competitor's price" a bad name. For the record again, the two written estimates I showed the Premium estimator were from Professional, Licensed, BBB A-rated, well-referenced painters. One has 28 years of experience and impecable references. The other has been painting since 1995 and included excellent references on his estimate as well. No references were included on the Premium Painter estimate. Update: We found an excellent painter who did the work for over $1,000 less than this estimate. Premium Painter claimed no one could. They were wrong.

I was originally very happy with their services, as noted below, however, they painted the patio right before we had a tropical storm which caused some of the paint to fade on the patio. I contacted Rod, the estimator, and he said he would look at his schedule and get back to me. After over a week, I called the main office this week and was assured that they would follow up, but it has been two days and I still haven't received a call back. In a word, Outstanding. An estimator visited my home and provided a price was reasonable for the work performed. I called them with colors and they started within a week of my estimate. The job took 2.5 days. Two painters performed the job and they were extremely thorough, polite, quiet and professional. I had tried to remove the wallpaper myself and it was stuck hard, but they did it. Everything went so smoothly. They treated my home like it was their own and cleaned up thoroughly each day. They removed the wallpaper, filled in cracks, etc. They did two layers of paint (a primer first). My condo looks great and I would strongly recommend them.

Jeff came out promptly after our call and provided a written estimate that same appointment. The painter was sent out quickly and completed his work very professionally. He was experienced, polite, proficient, and very hard working.

My biggest concern with the project was that is was going to interupt my families life for a long period of time. The company sent over a large crew that was knowledgable, expierenced, quick and effcient.They did a fantastic job from start to finish and the job was done quicker then I could of hoped for. They left the house looking unbelievable and well past my expectations. My family would personally never use any other general contractors for any future work.

They were very quick and did a great job. We were very pleased with the work when it was finished. The company was punctual and professional. The workers were easy to communicate with. I would recommend this company to anyone.

never called to accept or decline an ASAP full interior condo painting.

I would only hire Premium painters.....the entire crew was just wonderful...pleasant, cooperative and so helpful. When they were putting up the new light fixtures one was broken when they opened the box. They called me up in NY to let me know and asked if I would like them to exchange it for me.

PAINTING WAS ALRIGHT BUT THE WAY IT WAS HANDLED,THE FOLLOW UP, THE MESS AND THE MISSING WATCH, MAKE THIS A BAD EXPERIENCE. SEE STORY ABOVE................

The job crews arrived on the dates specified and the project was completed in a timely fashion which included work on a Saturday. The crew members were efficient and responded quickly to any questions or issues that developed over the course of the project. The house looks fantastic after being repainted with different colors and several neighbors stopped by with compliments about the change in appearance. I would definitely use this company again and would recommend it to anyone looking for exterior or interior house painting services.

See above. Unresolved with a peeling deck that I had to start with. I continue to wait for the owner to email or call. Of course, I don't anticipate that I will hear from him.

Everything went well, from the estimating process through completion and touch up. I unhesitatingly recommend them.
