They were horrible. There was no permit taken by the previous owner. So, we had to redo the gas line so that it could be properly permitted. When we purchased the house, it wasn?t properly zoned. In the process of redoing the gas line, they ripped up all of our irrigation system on that side of the house. They broke water tubes. They put in the line and buried it all. They did that instead of leaving it open and tagging it so that we knew what was broken. They turned the exterior water off on that side of the house. We didn?t even know that it was possible to do. We weren?t running the sprinkler because the yard was all dug up until they buried it all back together. We tried to use the hose on that side of the house and realized that it wasn?t working. We realized that there were leaks everywhere when we turned the water on. To this day, we still don?t have it working properly. They came and tried to fix it, but they buried it all. They should have never done that. They kept sending me bills for the second half of the job because I hadn?t paid them. I was waiting for them to fix it. Then they sent someone out who told me that it was all fixed. It was during a busy time and so, I didn?t run the sprinklers and check. My landscaper pointed out that the sprinklers didn?t work on the side of the house and we have a puddle that is constant. So, they never fixed it, but I haven?t even tried to contact them because it is just not worth it. It was a hassle and aggravating. Our whole yard was ripped up and it was just awful. They sent a guy with big machinery. They burned our hedges and ripped up other things like electrical wires and everything. It affected our cable, internet and our phones. They tore everything up. They charged us for replacing the lines and never fixed it properly. The job was about $3000 and I paid half upfront. I kept waiting for them to try and fix it. I didn?t pay them until the plumber came out and repaired certain things. Our plumber did some of the work not realizing the extent of it. Then the company sent someone to check it all and I guess he fixed some of the things that were minor. However, he didn?t really fix it all. He never ran the sprinklers to see if it was working. He just fixed the pipe that our plumber had exposed. He said that he would fix the water line, but not the irrigation system. He told me that he didn?t have the right piping. When they came to fix the irrigating system, they didn?t even check it. It was just a nightmare. I could never speak to the owner of the company when I called their office. We chose them because it was the company that the previous person was using when we bought the house. I haven?t refilled the gas since they did it in October because we have two big tanks. My next thing would be to have a new gas company.
Description of Work: Home Gas Corp came out in October to replace the gas line because it wasn’t as per the permit.
