Two gentlemen arrived 15 minutes early than the scheduled appointment with truck and materials to clean up. Al even called me the day before because he would be in the area and wanted to know if I had the time to do it then. It was on my voicemail and I didn't get the message until the next day. On the scheduled day they called prior to showing up and arrived early. From the minute they hit the ground it was all business. Everything was asked in detail what I wanted done and they jumped to it. Two of the nicest guys you could meet, friendly and completely professional. Did everything I asked of them and more. They cleaned up every inch of the garage and did a superb job. Honestly I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The price was great and the job went faster than you can imagine. Talk about professionalism, very impressed and would recommend to anybody their service. My wife and I just pointed and requested, that was it! Fantastic...AAA+++

A stubborn, lazy drug addict ruined a house. I am now fixing it up to be leased. There was enough furniture to fill two good-sized bedrooms, plus two stinking mattresses and a bunch of other stuff. I called this company, and they could not have been easier to deal with. Their operators are almost always available, so you can call at any time. They offered to send a truck around for an estimate, with no obligation, and they said that if we agreed to have them do the work, they could do it then and there. They don't show up on time. They show up EARLY. They call from the road and offer to adjust their schedule, and they arrive when they say they will. That's highly unusual in Miami, AKA Mañanaville. The first time they came, they explained that I had a misconception about the amount the truck held. I had been hoping to get the $129 minimum, but that's for a small portion of a truck. It was obvious to them that I would need about 1 3/4 trucks, and the trucks are $558 each. They were kind enough to explain other options, such as rented dumpsters from their competitors. After they left, I checked on dumpster prices--Waste Management is INCREDIBLY overpriced--and I realized I would rather pay a little more and have someone else deal with the mold and rat manure. In about 1 1/2 hours, they emptied the house. There are some things they don't do. They don't like climbing into lofts or attics, and they don't take certain items (paint that isn't dried up, for example). But they handled almost all of it. You have to be careful to make sure there is nothing on your property that you don't want thrown out. I told one team member to leave an item behind, and another guy threw it in the truck. Still, once the damage was done, they worked very hard to find the pieces. They are not cheap. I ended up paying $952, and I really think they could have charged a lot less and still done well, but Waste Management wanted $772 for a dumpster, and I would have had to fill it myself. I didn't know other companies charge a lot less than Waste Management, but the job was such a nightmare, I would still have hired 1-800-GOT JUNK. They could do a better job of sweeping up after they're done. On the whole, it was a very good experience. I would recommend them to anyone who needs junk moved. A dumpster is a lot cheaper, but the work involved is horrendous.

I was amazed to learn of this service - and even more amazed by the responsiveness. Within 2 hours of booking on line, they were at my door....and had called ahead. Extremely professional. Used Angie's list coupon to reduce price under $100. Would definitely use them again.

They were a little late but they called and let me know they were on their way. They hauled left over flooring, boxes, and other construction debris. They did a great job. They were only here for a couple hours. They were great at clean-up. There were some extra costs due to the load they had to take.

It went very well. They were on time, did the job quickly and professionally, and were very pleasant. They also swept up when they were finished removing the objects from the house. I would definitely use them again and have recommended them to a few friends.

They came later than I expected, but their work was outstanding. We had a huge amount of items for them to haul. They're willing to pack things up, so you don't need to put things into bags or boxes. They'll go through cabinets, closets, etc. We had shelves full of heavy items in the garage, going almost up to the ceiling, and they efficiently cleaned out every bit of it. Furniture was bulky, but nothing was a problem - even took apart two beds. Throughout the entire three hours, they were extremely polite and friendly. Their trucks weren't as big as I expected, so we had to pay for two trucks - but it was worth every penny.

Nate Kloiber, Operations Manager, sent an email the Tuesday following Labor Day to apologize for not getting back to me, because he had been away over the holiday weekend. He gave me contact info for Guy Villagi in Palm Beach County, who would be responsible for service to my Broward address. Guy was extremely courteous on the phone, and sent Juan and Francisco that very morning to remove a convertible sofa and a rocker-recliner, both of which had been damaged by my brother's cat, and, therefore, could not be used by any charity organizations. They also removed boxes of various items, for which I had no use. Everyone that I dealt with at 1-800-GOTJUNK was kind, courteous and efficient. I highly recommend them, and will certainly call upon them again when the need arises.

the guys arrived, i told them what needed to be removed, the washer was still attached to the water pipes and they were rusty and old so i couldn t do it, well !!! they did it for me, they were nice, very friendly, very professional, and super super quick ! loved it, asked for another estimate for more junk, will use them again soon. very very happy!! thanks Angie s deals !!!

y understanding is that this provider is a franchise operation. Quality of service is dependent upon individual business owner and may vary from location to location. My experience was in North Miami Beach Florida (Aventura). I had purchased new furniture and was anxious to remove old and I had a time line and was willing to pay a premium. A few calls to charitable agencies did not provide success and I was unwilling to spend any more personal time. This group will take most anything and the condition of the products do not matter. If "junk" to be removed may have a value, spending some time searching for groups such as Salvation Army and Amvets may provide an alternative which will not cost anything. These groups ( and there are many more) are not as service oriented and it may be necessary to wait until they are in your neighborhood before they will be helpful and sometimes they will miss their timing. But there is no cost so if time is not an issue and your "junk" may have a value, the non profits are a good alternative. Otherwise, "Got Junk" works well, and they will take most things. If you need a plan and have time sensitivity to accomplish your goals, junk is a good option. I would not hesitate to use them again and expect to in Florida at my same location. My permanent residence is in the Mid West and I would use them here also but could not comment on use by location except in Florida. There are other groups that do this kind of work and some small private carriers available in some communities are capable of taking your junk right to the junk yard but finding them can be more difficult. But, they will usually be less expensive. "Got Junk is well advertised and easy to reach and I did not want to make a project out of the off haul.

They arrived right on time and removed everything we need them to. Some things they were able to donate to charity, which made me feel good. They cleaned up EVERYTHING when they were done and accepted a personal check with ID. I believe we had them come out twice, as there was so much to go through, and this made it easier since I was the only one doing this and it took me 2 months . I'm disabled with heart disease and need to take breaks. They took this onto consideration and did everything they could to help me out.

I had a HUGE and HEAVY old tube TV sitting on a equally huge custom base - sitting on another huge base in the master bedroom. The whole arrangement was close to 6 feet tall, hadn't been used for 3 years and was taking up too much room. I could not find anyone to take it away - even if I gave it to them. I called 1800GOTJUNK Monday about noon and they scheduled an estimate and pick-up for the next day. The two men called me when I was told they would (8:30 AM) to give me a better indication of when they would arrive in the "9 am to 11 am" window. They showed up almost exactly when they said they would (about 3 minutes early). They figured out that the TV component could not fit through the hall door, and using a dolly might have damaged the wood floor. We figured out that the safest way to remove the whole thing was with a hand truck out the french doors directly to the yard, through a side gate and into the truck. So that is what they did. They said they had outlets for recycling the TV and they would evaluate the "furniture" for other recycling/reusing outlets So nothing is going to mess up a landfill - extra bonus! The cost reflects an Angie's List coupon. But even without the coupon, the price was very reasonable. Their price is based on how much cubic space the load will take up in their truck - but the extra service of being careful with the whole job is just priceless. When I tackle cleaning up my garage - I know who I am going to call to get rid of anything I cannot get to Goodwill!!

call the cie had a very nice phone contact was given a price over the phone trusted (foolishly) the quote given sent my worker to open the door for the removal of trash prepared by us kitchen cabinets flattened,carpet and padding rolled up and few other items left in unit was quoted over the phone as per volume it would fill the truck my mistake should have inquired as to the size of the truck must have been pretty small

It's a while back, but I feel that things went very well over all.

They just went ahead, got in on the track, and got it out of there. They actually swept and cleaned everything and didn't leave any debris behind.

Good service, called Friday but needed extra help so asked to come Saturday. They came Saturday, scratched paint on house while removing jacuzzi, offered to touch up. Overall very good!

My sister and I removed all contents of the garage for the "junk" pick up and placed items in the driveway. We bagged smaller items and hauled larger items out. This process took us two long days.1-800, "Blake and Matt", had to lift and load everthing into the truck. While the initial "assessment" (eyeball) could have been in excess of $1000, they loaded and organized the "junk" in order to maximize space.They saved me money!! They were both highly professional and patient gentlemen. I will absolutely utilize this service again! I am finally able to park in the garage....again!! Thank you Blake and Matt for making this "purge" quite enjoyable!!

Arrived right on time...provided estimate before starting job. Completed quickly and on time. Job required demolition on large piece of furniture. Cleaned up after demolishing. very happy. Cost was a bit above other quotes, but the service was absolutely worth it.

I could not find anyone to purchase my baby grand piano and no charity would take it as a donation. 800-Got-Junk sent two guys who arrived promptly. They were courteous and efficient. The piano was disassembled and taken away. Excellent overall service from the estimate to the removal.

Due to an unexpected larger job, the reps came later than expected. Nevertheless, they kept me informed of the situation, the delay, and at the end gave me a discount for the lateness. In terms of the service, they were great. The guys were very professional and their service met all my expectations. I will not hesitate to call this company again.
