PuroClean Disaster Response

When they first responded, we thought they were great as they did have a great response time and went to work immediately. However, during the process of the demolition and afterwards, we came to realize how horrible the crew was. The entire crew was very crude and several times we found them looking through our personal belongings and making crude jokes about our stuff. They smoked on our front porch and left cigarette butts everywhere. We even found them on our back porch where they had no business being. They were not very careful with our belongings either. We found several things of ours broken and left outside without anyone telling us. We also noticed several things, that we made clear we wanted to keep, thrown in the dumpster. While we realize their job is demolition, there were several issues that could have been avoided if they had just taken care in the first place. They left screws in the walls, and nails all over the floor. They left broken glass in the yard. They didn't demo everything they were supposed to even though we brought it to their attention several times. They didn't cover the air vents and as a result, all of the dust from the demolition got in the duct work. We now have to replace all the duct work due to their incompetence. Our garden outside was trampled completely. They took it upon themselves to pull up our perfectly healthy plants in the front yard. We were told that the huge trail of sheetrock they left on our porch and in our driveway would be cleaned when they were done. Their idea of cleaning was spraying the debris off the porch into the grass which led to the grass dying. They didn't even clean off the driveway which had large chunks of drywall and nails. We had a horrible experience and would not recommend them to anyone!

They disposed of our personal items that were not even damaged. They had my belongings in storage and did not return it. Even after insurance covered it, they charged us a remaning $17,000 which was unreasonable. We agreed to pay $6000 and when we did, they made us come out of our way to get it. Then they only returned about 1/3 of our belongings to us. They talked to us awfully, and disrespected our belongings. These belongings have sentimental value, and they just damaged it, and destroyed it.
