Description of Work: We were thrilled to have enough money to have energy-efficient foam insulation sprayed in our attics. When it was over, the experience was horrible! The foam spray in our attics was toxic and the fumes caused our home to be uninhabitable for 8 weeks afterwards. The preparation instructions were poor, no safety instructions were provided to us during the installation (we were exposed to fumes while supervising the installation), and the 48 hour expected vacancy period was a joke. As I said earlier, we had to vacate our home for 2 months, and had to leave the windows open to help ventilate it. My husband had to enter the house with the fumes regularly to try to fix it and to get personal items we needed from it. Eventually, we had to have the insulation removed at a huge expense to us. There were no government agencies to assist us with this problem, and one of the Orlando investigative reporters (Greg?) did a similar story on a couple in Orlando (different company) who had a similar problem.
