Dishonest company. I contracted with them to install shutters and huricane screens on my house in February of 2024 They told me they would be complete in 4-6 weeks. They did come and install the shutters but never installed the hurricane screens because they used my down payment for other bills and the manufacturer of the screens would not release the screens until they paid their bill, at least that is the initial excuse they gave me. After several months and numerous other excuses I asked for the balance of my down payment which was $10,000 dollars as we gave them $15000 and the accordions came to a little over $5000. They said they sent a refund which was not true because one of the owners told me the check was never sent because they don't have the money to refund us. We are owed almost $10,000. I checked the BBB where I saw another complaint with the same scam they pulled on us Buyer beware. They will take your money and never finish the job nor refund your money.

West Coast Shutters came out within a few days of being hit by a major hurricane. They were able to fix our broken shutter immediately. They were professional, courteous and did a fabulous job.

We have a hurricane days away from hitting and my main, 15 foot, shutter had fallen to the ground. I had never worked with them before but they responded, though extremely busy, and sent out Freddy, Luis, and a third guy (I feel bad I can’t remember his name). Anyway, they fixed me up that afternoon and made sure all of my shutters were good to go. From the woman who answered the phone to the guys who manhandled my 500 pound shutter, they were truly amazing. To drop everything for an unknown person in need shows how great this company is. They are now my shutter people. I thank all of them!

One of my electric rollup storm shutters quit working. West coast Shutters diagnosed a bad motor. They removed the roll, replaced the motor and readjusted the storm shutter. They were the first to respond to my request for service. They were clean and polite.

James came right away the same day. He was very mannerly and diagnosed the problem with our shutter. We would use them again.

These men are very good @ what they do and very knowledgably about the shutter business!! In fact I signed up for a home warranty yearly maintenance program to come tice a year for maintenance spring and fall ! James and Dustin did a great job in freeing 2 shutters that would not come down also a bracket inside that came off the wall!!
