Description of Work: They replaced my garage door opener with a system that has a back-up battery. It works much better than the one replaced and now I know that I can operate the door if I have to evacuate for a hurricane and all other doors are shuttered and must be cleared from the inside. I was a little shocked by the price, but the quality of the new unit seems worth it.

Description of Work: I just needed bottom rubber rail on single car garage door, because I was purchasing a " part " and not a whole door, there was a slight attitude, until I mentioned I was a member of Angies list, and I then I received more/faster/better service, because I was going to rate them.

Description of Work: The roller springs broke and the weight of the "Hurricane" garage door prevented the door drom being opened manually. D & D came out and repaired the door - on the same day called - on a friday afternoon. The price if roller replacement is included. These guys are great!!

We called Dand D Garage Doors for the first time on 10/5/10 and they immediately went to the home and emailed their free estimate the same day. On 10/6/10, their estimate was approved and they called the resident and scheduled a time that was convenient for her. Dand D Garage Doors went to the home on 10/7/10 and made all repairs to the complete satisfaction of the resident. I might add that since this was our first time calling them, they sent us a credit application to fill out, however, they did not delay doing the work.
Description of Work: Cables were broken, needed to replace one set. Also needed two clopay bottom fixtures.

+ -1 moreI called Dand D because of the information posted here, on this site. I got a phone estimate that was guaranteed and called around. Dand D quoted me the BEST price and the soonest service call that I could get. They were very flexible with me due to some scheduling and were here almost the next day. Bill arrived within the given window of time and went to work immediately. He was very conscious about his work and the area he was confined to, we have an antique auto in our garage that it was VERY important for him to NOT bother, and I am just SO impressed with the work he did. TOP NOTCH, all the way. He replaced both springs, as I requested. He went above and beyond the call of duty, here. He explained everything that he did to me, as well as giving me tips on how to prolong the life of our new springs. I am impressed all the way around by BILL and by Dand D. I would recommend them to ANYONE looking for garage door repair service!
Description of Work: 1 spring was broken on electric/overhead garage door. I requested that both springs be replaced. Bill went ABOVE and BEYOND, making sure that everything was lubricated and working in PERFECT order for us. Bill was under pressure from ME to be very careful in our garage because of our antique automobile-and I have to say, the place looked cleaner when he left than when he got here! He was meticulous in his work.
