SOUTHWIND IRRIGATION & LNDSCPG

Sadly, I must write a very poor review for this company which used to provide great service. When the economy had lost steam, Southwind Irrigation provided excellent service. Then they got busy and the response time began to stall but the quality of work remained good. Today it has eroded to missed service calls, misleading communication and shotty service. After the Hurricane we decided to redo the landscaping and as luck would have it, my sprinkler system lost prime and stopped working. Southwind Irrigation said it would be at least ten days before they could respond so I ran to Home Depot and purchased portable sprinkler to water the new plants. Two weeks later I followed up with Southwind Irrigation to get an update on service. No response from the company. Several phone messages later I spoke with a woman who handles the service calls and she insisted that they came to my house. Fortunately, I live in a gated community where the gate has a live guard who records all traffic in and out. Additionally, both the community and my home have video surveillance which did not record any service call. Today my sprinkler system remains inoperable and the landscaping has mostly died. I don’t know what happened with this company, but they sure fell apart after the economy picked back up.

My sprinkler pump began spraying water from multiple pipe joints. I called Don and left a message on Tuesday. Michelle called me back the same day and set the appointment for Don to come Friday morning. Don arrived early and went right to work. He diagnosed the problem in a few minutes. He had to turn off the water to my house due to a faulty backflow valve and he made sure to warn me in advance. He fixed the problem in an hour and I believe he fixed things where other people would have taken advantage of the situation and charged for new parts. He also checked the entire sprinkler system and cleared out several clogged sprinklers. I am happy to recommend Don and Southwind Irrigation.

They did a beautiful job. They were very professional, honest, and timely. Their price was also affordable.
