I called this company on Thursday morning 11/8 to look at my washing machine. I said I was an Angie's List member and had the coupon. I was told that they could come out that afternoon between 1-5.!! I was please but I was also very clear that it had to be before 5 as I had an appointment and would have to leave a few minutes after 5. When no one arrived by 4, I began calling. I only received an answer machine and after my third attempt left a message. The next day I was ready to call another company, but then received a call apologizing for yesterday. She said they had a problem with their phones and the repairman had not gotten my order. She said that someone could come out today and there would be no charge for the service. I agreed and the repairman showed up as promised, even calling 30 minutes beforehand. He checked out the washer thoroughly for almost an hour doing many diagnostic tests but could not find anything wrong. He finally advised us to be careful not to add too much soap and to be careful not to overload the wash with heavy items, and if the problem continued to try calling them again. I felt he was very professional and seriously tried to diagnose if there was a problem. I was glad that I gave them another chance and will call them again if I have an appliance repair.

I didn't enjoy being told that I shouldn't use the self-clean function, but I read about that issue during my research so it wasn't a surprise. Also, the price was a lot to pay for a simple fuse, but I understood the added work of having to remove the oven from the wall to get to the fuse. The two repairmen that came to my house were very professional and courteous. They immediately knew the problem and how to fix it and they fixed it quickly and without causing any damage to the surrounding cabinets.

I called to schedule an appointment on a Thursday and they scheduled me for Monday September 4th. The receptionist confirmed my address, which she had entered wrong, and supposedly corrected it. On the Saturday before the appointment (September 1st) the service tech called me to say he was on his way. When I told him I didn't have an appt until Monday he said that wouldn't be possible because it was a holiday (neither myself nor the receptionist realized it was Labor Day when the appt was scheduled). Nobody ever called to say they were coming on Saturday instead. Thank goodness my husband was home, as I was at work. The tech then called me back saying he was lost because apparently the receptionist had not corrected the address after all. My husband said the tech was professional but I thought the cost for the work done was high ($162) and had I been there, I would've opted to not pay it and just buy a new dishwasher since I have had problems in the past with this dishwasher (don't ever buy an LG!) To top it off, I just looked at my credit card statement and they charged me twice for the service! So now I am disputing the charge with my credit card company. I have to say, I called at least 5 other companies on Angie's list and Century Appliance were just about the only ones that serviced LG appliances which is why I went with them.

I called the phone number when i got to work, they were at my house in an hour with a recommendation.

I called Century Service Repair because they had a great price on service calls. They had an online promotion and charged a flat rate of $20 per appliance for the service call, and I thought it was worth that to have these appliances - the dishwasher and washing machine - checked out. The dishwasher was found to be leaking during by our home inspector before we bought the house, so the technician pulled it out, checked all the hoses, checked the operation of the entire unit (probably spending 20-30 minutes to make sure various cycles operated properly), and found that there was actually nothing wrong with it. Maybe the hoses were a little loose, and he fixed it just by checking them. We haven't had any problems with it since, and that was over a year ago. He also checked out the washing machine, which had been making a loud banging noise during spin cycles. He found that the transmission and bearings were bad, and gave me an estimate for repairs, but was also honest enough to say that I could probably find a similar model of washing machine refurbished for less than the cost of the repairs. And that's what I did. I appreciated that the repairman was thorough, honest and prompt. Even though they didn't do any repairs, I would not hesitate to call them again if something else breaks.

Century Appliance was very professional from the initial phone call. They were able to schedule an appointment for the next day and the tech, Matthew, called to tell us that he was on his way, and showed up between the promised window. Matthew took the necessary time (about an hour) to diagnose our washing machine's problem which was an intermitent noise. While waiting for the noise to occur, he checked all the other functions and found that it was all working properly. After hearing the noise he was able to pin down the issue. He didn't have the proper part on him, but came back the next morning and had it fixed in 20 minutes. He was very professional. Thank you!

I called for service and Michael came out mid afternoon the same day. (Cost of first vist $19.95). After testing, he determined the circuit board needed replacment and said he would call with availability of part and cost. Michael called the next day with information. Exactly one week later, he came and installed the part without any problems. Excellent service, Michael was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous.

This company seems to be very honest. Our oven stopped working & I called this company to repair it. They sent a serviceman out. He was great. He checked out the oven & gave me a price for repairing it. The oven is between 40 & 50 years old - it was in the house when we bought it - & he suggested that it was not worth the cost to repair it because while the parts for this repair were available, other parts which were likely to go were no longer available. He suggested we consider replacing it even though his company does not sell appliances nor could they do the installation of the new oven so their honesty cost them what they would have made had they just repaired it.This is the kind of company that we need in the appliancce repair business & I recommend them. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Their lack of response to a request for service. Unbeliveable. This is South Florida and we do have a bad reputation for fly by night companies and this just re-emphasizes the fact that people don't want to work, just complain.

My wall oven was inop so I called for repair. Primarily I picked them because the service call was only 20.00. They came out pulled wall oven out and placed a new part inside. However after putting the part in they discovered that there was an electrical problem that needed to be repaired by an electrician. The oven did not work but they did not charge me for the part. I contacted an electrician and I had a short circuit in the plug box. Once that was fixed I could call back appliance repair guy and finish the job. I called back repair guy who was ordering another part for me and I scheduled him to come back and finish the job. he came back put the new part in and everything is working fine. I feel the company is efficient, professional and compete. Would gladly use them again. Hats off to the tech Matthew good job I can eat again.

Came on time and made a quote to repair. We decided to buy a new washer. The service call price was very reasonable

All is well that ends well. The washer has been repaired and not taken to the Landfill, so I am happy. The technicians were very clean, professional, and friendly. Would definitely use them again.

After my washer was repaired I needed a follow up because the washer was out of balance and the kick plate? at the bottom had not been properly replaced and fell off. I called Century Appliance on Saturday, 4 days after the repair, but they were closed. I called back on Monday, but the message was "this number is no longer in service." I called all the numbers on the web page and received the same message. In a panic thinking Century had gone out of business, I called my husband who called the credit card company after getting the same messages when he called all the numbers, and a hold was placed on the payment. I received a different number from Angies list after receiving my report. I called the original number today and spoke to Missy. I was very happy to know that Century was indeed still in business and after explaining all the above to her, she was so NICE and apologized to ME for the mishap with the phone messages I received about the numbers no longer being in service. She arranged for the same technicians to come back to fix the balance problem as well as the bottom plate. I of course will take care of making sure they get their money! We never could figure out why the phone messages on that Monday were "no longer in service" but I am very happy it was a mistake. Based on my total experience, I would definietly use this company again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for appliance repair! My experience with this company was outstanding. When I called to schedule a service call, they were extremely helpful in meeting my requirements and also explained the service charges and how they are applied to the repair bill. The service supervisor, Washington, called 45 minutes prior to our appointment to let me know when he will arrive. He is very professional and worked quickly and neatly. He diagnosed the problem and provided an estimate. One repair, the rewiring of the element in the oven, was completed on the spot. The other repair, the replacement of the large element on the cook top range, required the ordering of the part. Washington called the next morning to tell me that the part was ordered and will be available in one day. The office then called to schedule an appointment to install the new element. Again, Washington called about 20 minutes prior to his arrival. He installed the element and I was completely satisfied.

I was able to schedule an appointment to fit my busy schedule. I was delayed 10 minutes and Washington waited for me. He reviewed the situation and indicated that a new burner (which would be under warranty) would need to be ordered . Once the burner came in an appointment was scheduled. Before leaving the office, he checked the package and found that it had arrived broken. He contacted me to let me know what happened. Another burner was ordered. When it came in he examined it and contacted me to arrange installation. Since I was available at the time, he came right out. He is very professional and courteous.

They came the same day, came on time, gave a fair price for coming out to check the appliance and then applied it to the total bill. He was fast, clean, very pleasant. Checked out the machine with me to show the improvement.
