My dryer died over the weekend. I'd never been happy with any of my previous appliance repairs so I joined Angie's List hoping for a new repair service relationship. I read the reviews and decided to give AAA Century a try. I called first thing Monday morning. The scheduler was professional and set me up for a service call that same day between 12 and 3. I braced myself for a long wait and a no-show like all the other services I've used in the past, but surprise - the technician called at 12:15 to say he was on his way! This is where I thought I might just become a believer. The tech showed up 15 minutes later, diagnosed the problem within minutes, was back a half hour later with the part he needed - and by 2:00 he had repaired, cleaned and tuned up the dryer. Not only is it repaired...it performs like a brand new machine! I am officially in love! But, just to be sure... I waited a few weeks before writing this review since we've all had those experiences where a day later something else breaks. Nearly a month has gone by, the dryer is still going strong, and AAA Century is my new go-to appliance repair company. I will DEFINITELY use them again! Thanks Angie's List.

My Kenmore front loader would not drain. I was getting an error code on the display. I cleaned the drain pipe, but this did not solve the problem. I called AAA Century and explained that it may be the drain pump. They said they would send someone between 10 am and 1 pm. They called in advance to let me know his progress. He called 10 minutes prior to arriving. They had ferried the part to him in case it was needed. He arrived, completed his diagnosis. He cleaned the drain pump filter. He was very courteous. Problem solved. The drain pump did not need to be replaced. Great value with the service call special and discount for Angie's list members!!

EXCELLENT. RESPONSE WAS WONDERFUL, THEY SENT A REPAIRMAN OUT THE SAME DAY I CALLED, AND HE WAS ABLE TO ORDER THE PARTS THAT SAME DAY, WITHIN 1 WEEK THEY WERE OUT AGAIN AND THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED. I AM COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY GAVE ME A REPAIR "WINDOW" OF TIME, THEY WERE WITHIN THAT TIME FRAME, THEY CALLED SHORTLY BEFORE COMING TO THE HOUSE, AND I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE PERFORMED. MATT, THE REPAIR TECH, WAS VERY FRIENDLY, EXPLAINED IN DETAIL WHAT EXACTLY WAS INVOLVED IN THE REPAIR, WHEN HE CAME BACK THE 2ND TIME (WHICH BY THE WAS WAS GREAT SINCE THEY SENT THE SAME REPAIR PERSON WHO WAS FAMILIAR WITH THE PROBLEM), HE FIXED THE UNIT, SHOWED ME THE BROKEN PARTS, EXPLAINED EXACTLY WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE BROKEN PART WHICH WAS VERY NICE OF HIM. I AM COMPLETELY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY, AND I HAVE USED THEM ON OTHER "APPLIANCE" REPAIR PROJECTS. WHICH IS WHY I CALL THEM FIRST! I EVEN GOT A $15 DISCOUNT AS A REPEAT CUSTOMER, AND A COUPON GOOD FOR A DISCOUNT ON A FUTURE APPLIANCE REPAIR. WARRANTY WAS GOOD, AND COMPLETELY EXPLAINED.

I asked for an estimate for the total job ahead of time. They priced out the part. I paid a $100. deposit so they could order it. They gave me an estimate of when the part would arrive. They called me the day before it was to arrive to remind me that they would call me the next day. They called the next day and set up an appointment. I asked for an afternoon appointment. They gave me a 4 hour window, and called me 10 minutes before they were going to arrive. They did a great job on the repair. They were very efficient, and changed the part out with no problem. They checked for leaks afterwards. The way in which they removed and replaced the drum boot showed that they were very familiar with this repair. They took off $15. from the cost of the repair because of the Angies' List coupon. The total cost of the repair with tax was $233. Total time, about 50 minutes from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company, and will use them again if needed. In shopping appliance repair shops on Angies' List, I was surprised about how much company pricing varied: A few companies charge a service trip charge between $60 and $89. This company had a $20 service trip charge special. Some apply the service trip charge to the cost of the work if you let them do the job, and some do not. One vendor, JT Appliance, would not even tell me what the cost of the job would be even though I told him what part he would need, and the specific job to be performed. Another vendor, Abbott Appliance, refused to take the job. I was very pleased about how "up front" this company was and how they handled the service.

Everything went perfectly. They forgot the Angie's List discount but when I called them I received an even larger discount without requesting it. I will use them again.

The technician (Washington) was very professional yet personable. He answered all questions and completed the job without any problems. Would hire again if there is a problem that I cannot fix.

We reached out to AAA for an appt on Fri 22nd, was able to get in on the same day. Our time window was 12p-4p Our tech was Bruno, he called abt 20mins in route to our home. Bruno was clean and professional. He was patient and thorough. Bruno walked us through the issue and how he was going to solve the problem for the long term. He even was able to clean up the mess from the ice and water build up over time. We are very pleased we used Angie's List and found the AAA Service Co.

My Frigidaire oven door became locked and the control panel flashed error codes after I attempted to run the cleaning service. I called for an appointment on a Friday and AAA Century Appliance was able to schedule an appointment first thing Monday morning. Two servicemen were sent and they called shortly before their arrival. The door had to be unlocked with a tool and tests were run to figure out the issue, which happened to be the control panel. A new panel needed to be ordered, as they did not have them in stock. The office called the following day to confirm the part had been ordered and that they would schedule an appointment as soon as it arrived. Ten days later, the part had arrived and the same to servicemen came to m home to install the new part. After the installation, they ran tests to confirm that all of the different oven programs were working.

Returned my call after the second time I left a message and scheduled the service call for that day between 2 and 6 pm. The tech arrived just before 6 and was finished in no time! Great service.

Overall have been very satisfied. We have used century before and will definitely use hem again.

Making an appointment was easy with their office staff, they were on time and friendly. They diagnosed the problem correctly and efficiently and the estimated repair cost was spot on. Would happily use again, in fact their contact information is already store on my phone!

Told me me how to fix it my self. Never tried to up sell me. Will use again.

I initially went on line and purchased an icemaker for a fraction of the cost Sears charges just for the part. I installed myself (thanks youtube) and it still did not work. I decided i did not want to spend weeks trying to find a reliable company to help so i joined Angies list and used it for the first time on this repair. First, the office personnel, Missy, a supervisor, could not have been kinder. When the first appointment was made in error, she did anything humanly possible to rectify the situation. She had Washington come out to do the work and after he assessed it was a control panel, offered to come back the same day to install. He did, we waited and still no ice. Missy, again, made fixing this a priority and the next day, Washington came back out to determine that the on-line ice maker i bought, was defective and reinstalled the original icemaker (instead of automatically installing a brand new icemaker!) to see if that was the answer. Unfortunately, it was not and during the 3rd appointment, Washington brought an extra icemaker and installed that (at no additional installation charge) and refused payment until we had a full bucket of ice! He called the next day to check on the icemaker and only then did the company charge the card. They received all A's because not only were the front office and the installer thoughtful and efficient, but also when they realized the issue didn't get fixed the first time, made us feel like we were their most important client to resolve this problem. Additionally, on the first call, Washington was running 10 minutes late and before the appointment called to apologize and let us know. This is a throwback to the way service use to be. here was no waterfirst service call 2/13 determined icemaker was broken advised would take a couple of days to get part. returned on 2/19 and replaced ice maker said would take 3 hours for first cubes. the next morning no ice. called again service call 2 days later advised part was bad would order new one waited again for part. New part in still no ice. called again sent supervisor who discovered ice make was not getting water. Do not believe it should have taken 3 service calls to determine there was no water. Not sure if that was the original problem or caused by the broken ice maker

I made an appointment online the day before. They give you the opportunity to choose the day and time frame you would like the service. Bruno arrived ontime and called about 15 minutes before arriving. When he arrived he explained what he believed was causing our freezer to leak water (it was pretty obvious), how he would repair it, and how much it would cost. He was extremely conscientious and proffesional with a nice disposition. After the repair we chatted about some of the other appliance and he gave some tips on how to treat them so that they will have a longer life span.

The company is offering an appliance service call for $19.99. This seems like a great price to just have a tech determine if the appliance is fixable. I called for my dryer and was advised they cannot fix gas dryers. When questioned why I was advised the technicians may not know how to repair gas appliances or maybe it was the companies decision to not repair gas dryers. I guess it is up to the company to decide but it seems unfortunate for them to make that type of a decision and also to not specify that limitation in their coupon/advertisement. They did recommend another company, however their recommendation did not honor the 19.99 service call special. Instead their service charge was $84. All in all this was not a good experience and seems to be a bait and switch type of misrepresentation.

My fridge stopped working and I wanted to get a diagnosis before going out and buying a new one. Washington came over to diagnose the issue. He was extremely polite and professional. He told me the issue and even attempted to fix it with one of the possible broken parts. After the attempt said that it wasn't going to be an easy fix and that it would probably be better to purchase a new fridge than to try to replace the broken parts. The cost for his time was just the original $20 estimate even though he went far beyond what was required. The service was amazing and their call center was also friendly and helpful. They made me feel calm in my stressful situation.

My washing machine was filling and agitating, then just stopping before draining, rinsing, draining, and spinning. I called Century because they had received such high ratings here. Although I waited too late to schedule a visit on Saturday--my fault, not theirs--I was able to schedule it for this morning, one of my late work days. They sent Matthew, who was able to come early in the time slot. and is a nice, intelligent guy with a sense of humor who knows his stuff. He was able to diagnose that there wasn't anything mecahnically wrong with the washer per se but it was the master control, which moves the cycle from part to part, that was the problem. He had one for my machine in his truck and was able to replace the part and make sure the machine would go through the whole cycle. All in about half an hour. I'd definitely recommend these guys, and will call them if I ever need any work done on another appliance. Their receipt also comes with a $15.00 off coupon you can use for their next visit.

refriderator stopped working on Sunday. Called Century Appliance on Monday morning. Appliance was fixed by 130 on Monday with new evaporator fan with a cost of 236.22...part, labor and $15 angies list discount. Service man was quick, efficient and friendly.

We called someone else first. They were too busy to see us right away. Century appliance was able to see us immediately and fixed it.

Century Appliance Repair showed up on time and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. They explained the problem, needed work, and cost up front, so there were no surprises. Work was done efficiently and suggestions were made to prevent the problem from recurring. Highly professional and courteous. Good value for the money. Will definitely use again in the future.

I called the company on Tuesday 11/26 for a repair call. They scheduled a service date for the next day between 8:00 AM and Noon. Told me to call on Wed. morning to find out when the repairman would be arriving. They told he would arrive by 8:30 AM. The repairman, Matthew arrived and was very polite and knowledgeable. He informed me that my 12 year old Frigidaire Gallery would cost $750 to repair and would not be worth it. I asked him what models he would recommend and where would be the best place to buy a replacement. I cannot stress how nice and helpful he was and I only had to pay $19.99 for the service call. I will use this company over and over again. If you need their services ask for Matthew. You will not be disappointed.
