My tenant had complained the dryer was taking several cycles to dry. I asked them to check the filter and hose but they found no issues so I called Century. The technician quickly found no issue with the dryer, it was running hot as it should. He said the issue was the duct is clogged and needs to be cleaned. I appreciate the quick service and honest assessment. The service call was extremely reasonable and because of the trust they built up, I would definitely use them in the future for any of my appliance needs.

These guys were professional but? Sears has them beat. Here?s my story. So I call Sears and ask them to check out my fridge because it?s not making ice. When the tech arrived he greeted me and I showed him to the fridge. As soon as he got to the fridge he put his bag down and pulled out a new pair of latex gloves which Century did not do. After he put his gloves on, he asked me for a cup and checked to see if water came out of the fridge. When it did, he pulled the fridge from the wall, unplugged it, took the ice maker out, and saw ice cubes had formed. He then explained to me that the reason why the ice cubes weren?t dropping was because the heating element had likely gone bad, and I would need a new ice maker. (Century technician told me it could be the ice maker or the water valve.) I was quoted $198 plus tax by Sears which would include the replacement of the ice maker and a 1 year extended warranty that covered labor and up to $500 worth of parts for the entire fridge. I told the Sears technician I would call them back to let them know if I was going to do it because I didn?t want the extended warranty and thought I could get a better quote from someone else. He charged me $75 which would be applied towards the repair if I decided to call them back. So I went on Angie?s list and found Century?s $19.99 diagnostic fee with its great reviews and decided to call them. They sent someone out the next day early in the morning. Their tech did a much more thorough inspection then Sears. But as I said before he didn?t wear gloves and technically he didn?t really determine whether the problem was the water valve or the ice maker. Anyways, after his inspection he determined that I should replace the ice maker and that it would cost $240. I explained to him that Sears quoted me $198 and it included an extended warranty. He told me he would be able to match the $198 but would have to ask his boss about the warranty. I thanked him and told him I would let them know. I figured I only owed Sears $123 after the diagnostic fee so I would just have them replace it and get the 1 year extended warranty without the hassle. So I did and they told me the ice maker would take up to 14 days to arrive and they would call me when they had it. So I called Century to check how long it would take them to get the ice maker. They told me they would call me back and let me know. The next day Sears called to let me know they had the ice maker (I guess they teleported it from somewhere jk) and they could have someone out to me in the morning. Still haven?t heard from Century as to when they could get the ice maker.

On time - professional - fair price. Can`t ask for more than that! Thank-you Enrico & Monica

Richard called before he arrived. Professional attire and mannerisms. he chkd out the clothes dryer, that wasnt heating. Made it work again in about 15 mins. Problem with the programming. Charged for the visit. Honest and professional.

Called re: stack Whirlpool making banging sounds, coming from unknown area. Two gentlemen arrived, and analyzed the issue within minutes, providing me an in-depth explanation. I saw two outstanding human beings in addition to their knowledge and professionalism. This is the only company I need to keep on file for all future needs.

They were excellent. No pressure whatsoever. They were very informative and they left the repair up to me with what I wanted to do with it. The technician's name was Washington, and he even educated me about appliances! I really appreciated that they left it up to me. They were the only one who scored high on multiple review sites. I'm glad I gave them a try.

We called the company and explained our problem. The appointment was scheduled for a Tuesday between 1-5:00 pm. The technicians arrived and found the problem but did not have the part that was needed and that it would need to be ordered. On Thursday the company called to say they had the part and would not be able to come to the house until Sunday. I informed them that was fine, we would wait till Sunday for the repair. Friday afternoon we received a pleasant phone call from one of the technicians informing us that he was in the area with the part and he and his partner could come over within 15 minutes. The two young technicians arrived and got right to work. They had the washing machine working within 30 minutes. They were both very polite and very professional. It was a pleasure dealing with this company - no hassles, no missed appointments, they were prompt and competent. We are very pleased with the service and would recommend this company.

Repair tech arrived on time, diagnosed the problems and gave an estimate for repair. I ultimately decided to replace the appliance instead of repairing it. The company's price to come out was very reasonable and everyone I talked to was very nice

After a scheduling glitch, which they handled well and quickly, repair technician arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the thermostat. Cost was $127 including service call and tax, and net of $15 Angie's list coupon.

I called them and set up the service call, they came on time, called 20 minutes before they got here to make sure I was available, did not take long to figure out problem , told me the price, ordered the part and told me how long it would be until part would be in. easy and simple. I also had a dishwasher that they looked at , he told me it would not make any sense to fix it, parts would be too expensive. I'd be better off buying a new dishwasher. overall they were very professional. I would use them again. :)

Very professional and courteous, arrived on time and left our Maytag like new.

My dryer was making a horrible noise when turned on. Thank goodness they diagnosed a simple solution. Socks were stuck in the blower housing. Kevin and Washington were extremely professional and courteous. They were here on time, completed the work in a short period of time and gave me additional helpful hints to keep my dryer operating efficiently. I HIGHLY recommend this company. I have had large appliances repaired before, and I have never experienced such quality with a reasonable price. Thank you AAA Century.

They were very good. I do like 15 loads of laundry a week and I needed my dryer. They came right out and took care of the issue. They were very professional and they got it done. They were prompt and we told them what we needed and they showed up with it. They got it fixed and I would use them again. We got $15 off for mentioning Angie's List.

Arrived on time. We had diagnosed the problem so the replacement part had been brought. He indicated that the leak had been there for a number of years but it had only gotten progressively worse in the last three weeks. Repair was done in a timely manner. Was thoughtful to show us what it was he would be doing. Even when work was completed and he suspected something still was not tight enough and was possibly creating a small leak, he took the cover back off and rechecked the repair. Shared with us several things to make sure we were careful in doing to make sure the machine would continue to give us more years of service. Very polite and courteous. Would have him again for any future repairs.

They were here several times but finally determined that it just wasn't worth fixing since the price of the defective part was about as much as a new machine. I appreciated their honesty and that there would be no charge as originally agreed.

The only reason I gave them a B for responsiveness and professionalism is that the contrctor who came out, informed us that he would have the part Tuesday and would call to confirm he was coming out to install it that day. When I hadn't heard from him by Wednesday morning, I called and they asked if I would like to schedule a visit for the repair. Duh... they could not come for two days but came on time when scheduled. The dryer was fixed and I was able to catch up on a week's worth of laundry.

Washington came to look at our washing machine and fridge. He took a quick look at the washing machine and told us it would be better for us to replace as the ball bearings were gone. He made some great recommendations for us on what to look for in a washing machine, which we followed. Our fridge was repairable. It took a day for the part and he came back the following day and repaired the fridge. It had to be moved and he took great care in moving it and protecting our brand new floors. Price was great, service excellant and I now have them saved as a favorite vendor

This is the 3rd time the technician, Washington, came out to fix this particular refrigerator. The first time he noticed air was escaping from the icemaker seal causing foods to freeze in certain parts of the fridge and icemaker not working. He thought he could adjust as I didn't want to spend the extra money but advised me if it didn't work I would need to order new part. It worked for a week but then started acting up again. The initial cost was $250 which I had gotten another quote that was in line with the price, the difference is I only paid $19.99 for initial visit and the other company was charging $70 to come out and give an estimate. He ordered the new part $50 came out and installed it, no additional charge. The freezing stopped but unfortunately 2 weeks later fridge stopped making ice. Washington came out again, determined a part in the icemaker needed adjusting he did so, no charge and I am now happy with my fridge. Washington in all visits was very professional and always took the time to show me what the problem was. Great technician and I would certainly call this company again.
