Description of Work: With a continued stoppage of a toilet at my home, the technician, Ralph Amador, came promptly to snake out the system, diagnosing the chief cause of the problem, which led to the discovery of a more serious problem. That problem was quickly resolved by Ralph and the other technician who finished up today. It would be hard to find the right phrases to properly describe how wonderfully Ralph and his cohort performed their tasks, so professional, so friendly, and so able was this service. I wholeheartedly recommend A-Alligator Plumbing and especially Ralph Amador.

+ -1 morefrom the begin they were professional, used technology to understand the location they were going and told me what was needed and how much. I liked that alot They arrived in the time window they told me. They found my tank without puting alot of holes in the yard. They removed the grass over the tank in a way that it came up as several pieces of sod. They used a canvas trap to place the soil they removed to reach the tank and evently put all the soil pack in the hole after they pumped out the tank. They got in and got out quickly with no disrubtion. They who me the finish product before closing. It pays to deal with a specialist like A Alligator, if you need pumping, call them they come ready to work. Regards Ron a very satisfied customer.

They were able to get me on the schedule for the early evening (they didnt even give me attitude when I kept calling back - patience is a virtue!) Brandon came with the vac truck, located my septic tank (I didn't know exact location) popped the lid, discovered that it wasn't full but actually could use some repair. He then cleaned out a blockage in our plumbing line which fixed the issue we were dealing with. A quote was provided for additional work to get out tank up and running as it should be. they really helped me out and the service was comprehensive and the folks were friendly.
Description of Work: Located septic tank, inspected it, confirmed drain field is in good condition. Rootered my plumbing lines. Provided quote for additional work to repair my tank and replace some pipes.

+ -1 moreTwo full septic tank inspections. One included removing sediment from the bottom to get a better idea of the condition of the tank. Because we had two different inspections and two different times, we recommend going for the first appointment of the day.
Description of Work: The provider inspected two different septic tanks for us during our home search. We were thrilled that the owner did the initial inspection on a property. After that inspection we called to have a second property inspected. Both times the provider was on time, professional and very thorough.

+ -1 moreMy experience with A-Alligator is mixed. This company did a good, punctual job of pumping out my septic tanks at two different locations. However, at one location where the septic tank had overflowed because I had gone too many years without pumping it, A-Alligator's workers told me that I needed a new drain field (which turned out to be incorrect). I called the company for five weeks to make an appointment to have an estimate for this done. I was repeatedly told I would get a call back with the appointment time, but only after four weeks did I even get a return call. Finally, in response to may exasperation, the secretary told me that they were too backed up to take on another job any time soon. The personnel were always courteous and professional, but It was not pleasant to be put on hold for two months. When I called another highly recommend company on Angie's list, I found out that cleaning my distributor was all that was necessary. I did not need a new drain field! This other company solved my problem within days, saving me time and avoiding further expense and exasperation.

Called Alligator in the morning and Maria was very professional and excellent customer service oriented. They schedule my service call for the same day. Arrive on time, were very professional and provide with excellent feedback and service. Clean the septic tank and pump out. Outstanding service. I find this provider on Angie List and definitely will recommend it.

+ -1 moreIT WAS LONG AGO SO I DON'T REALLY RECALL THE RESPONSE TIME ON THE INITIAL CALL BUT I'M SURE IT WAS THE SAME DAY OR NEXT DAY. THE OWNER AND HIS SON CAME TO MY PROPERTY INITIALLY BECAUSE MY SEPTIC TANK WAS BACKING UP - THEY ADVISED ME THAT THE SEPTIC TANK WAS TOO SMALL FOR HOW MANY BEDROOMS I HAVE AND SAID I SHOULD REVAMP MY SYSTEM AND GAVE ME THE ESTIMATE. I DIDN'T WANT TO CONTINUE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM SO OF COURSE I TOLD THEM TO MAKE IT HAPPEN AND GAVE THEM A $1000 DEPOSIT. THEY HAD 2 FELLOWS COME WITH A BOBCAT AND DIG UP THE WHOLE YARD, PLACE THE TANK, THE PIPING AND SO ON - BETWEEN ALL THE LABOR AND THE INSPECTION THE JOB TOOK ABOUT 3 WEEKS [DURING WHICH I STILL FULL USE OF THE SYSTEM]. WHICH IDK WHAT THE GENERAL TURN AROUND TIME IS FOR A BIG JOB LIKE THAT BUT IT SEEMED REASONABLE. AFTER WARDS I WAS SCHEDULED TO PAY THEM THE BALANCE AND RAN INTO SOME TROUBLE WITH THE FUNDS AND THEY WERE VERY REASONABLE WITH ME AND LET ME MAKE MONTHLY PAYMENTS TO THEM FOR $1000 EACH OVER THE FOLLOWING 4-5 MONTHS WITH OUT CHARGING ME INTEREST. I WAS SO APPRECIATIVE TO THEM FOR THIS AND THEIR FAMILY WAS SO UNDERSTANDING OF MY SITUATION AND HARDSHIP I WAS UNDER AT THAT TIME. AND I AM FILLED WITH GRATITUDE AND WELL WISHES FOR THEIR FUTURE SUCCESS. ---GLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THEM---

I had paid hundreds of dollars for a septic cleaning prior, but I knew it wasn’t clean. I called this company, and they came out and did an excellent job. I can’t say enough good things about them!

+ -1 moreEveryone I dealt with at this company was absolutely great! María was prompt, courteous and professional on the phone and Brandon arrived before the appointed time. He worked quickly and efficiently and explained the process to me as he went along. John came along about 20 minutes later and discussed replacing the original drain field (from when the house was built in 1962!). He wrote up a proposal, explaining and detailing costs for labor, materials and permits and had the problem resolved in about an hour! It was a true pleasure to deal with this family-owned business from start to finish!
Description of Work: I am the property manager for my neighbor's house next door and the tenants had a serious problem: The septic tank had backed up and was coming up in the shower of the master bath. I had made the mistake of calling another national chain septic tank service (Roto-Rooter) but after TWO DAYS of them saying they were coming and then not showing up, and me calling again and again to find out what was happening and them making excuses, I threw in the towel and looked up Septic Tank Cleaning Services in Hollywood, FL on Google and found A-Alligator Septic Cleaning Service, a local family-owned business. It was 4:30 when I contacted María, (the boss) and told her that we'd been dealing with a backed up septic tank for days now and that we were desperate! She asked for my phone number and said she would check with the driver to see his availability and call me right back. She called in under 2 minutes and said he'd be here in less than an hour - and they were! Brandon (the son) is a personable, professional who went straight to work digging and opening it up. He did find that the tank was overflowing, indicating a blocked drain field that needed replacing. He emptied the tank and flushed the lines. Then his dad, John , showed up to assess the problem and gave us a quote for replacing the blocked drain field. He wrote the quote up and showed that it includes labor, parts and permit.

+ -1 moreThe guys arrived at the agreed-upon time, got busy immediately and did a great job, from what I can tell. I'm not planning on diving in and making sure, though. It was a bit more than the last time I had the septic tank pumped, but that was about 6 years ago, I think, so I didn't expect the price to be the same. The men were friendly and professional.

+ -1 moreAbout 2 1/2 years later the system started backing up I called A-Alligator they where oddly defensive when asking them to help me see what was clogging up the line, at this point I did not know it was there poor workmanship. They stated on 2 different service calls one $250 the second $427 that the drain field they put in was in good working order and it was the tenants flushing things they should not that was causing the problems. With yet another back up less than 30 days from the $427 service call and dozens of excuses from A-Alligator I called 3 other septic company's ask them to assess the problem they all came to the same conclusion the drain field was failing and at less than 3 years old this was unacceptable. Pressing A-Alligator to do the right thing and help me resolve the problem they refused to take any responsibility at all.
Description of Work: I had used A-Alligator in the past and had been satisfied with there work so when it came time to put in a new drain field, there bid was in line with other company's so I went with them. I no longer live at the property so relied on tenants and a handyman to let me know what was going on. They all reported they felt A-Alligator was doing a very sloppy poor job. I took the info in stride and was happy when it was all done drain fields should last 10 or more years.
