Description of Work: Have used them for several years. First to put in a deep well, and many years later to replace that deep well pump. They also service our sprinkler system. Replaced split bladders, cracked ground connections, etc. Crew is prompt, knowledgeable, and efficient.

Description of Work: We needed to add a zone to our sprinkler system due to water pressure issues and add one sprinkler head. Charlie provided the quote and his team did the work very efficiently and there were no surprises from the quoted price. I was nervous because there was a fair amount of digging required to split off the existing pipe and add a new one but they did a great job cleaning up and leaving minimal trace of the job.

Description of Work: Re-plumbed and replaced 4 irrigation valves, moved one of the sprinkler heads and tested system.

Description of Work: My pump was running but didn't pull any water through. They evaluated the situation and determined that there was nothing wrong other than the system was pulling in air and the fix was really easy. They completed the job quickly and priced it very reasonably. The technician was very helpful and gave me lots of good information so I understood exactly what was wrong. I was very happy with them.

Description of Work: I paid for an Angie's List Big Deal sprinkler tune-up from Charlie's Wells. I have used them for the past 6-7 years and have always been pleased with the service they provide. They pay attention to detail.

Description of Work: I will never use this service again. The technician was late without calling, he thought he was here for a well repair (I don't have a well), he was discourteous & threw his clipboard when I told him he hadn't checked the bubblers & actually lied that he did (I was with him the whole time & he did not). I asked him to leave my property upon his angry outburst, & I did not pay him at that point in time. To top it off, when I called the business, I did not receive an apology for his behavior....but she did offer to send someone else out, of which I declined. I paid for the parts only & refused to pay the extra labor...which was under $20....and was told to never use them again. That will not be a problem. My first experience with an A rated company on Angie's List. I have never encountered such an angry outburst with a repairman....Ever.

Description of Work: A 2-man team - worked together very efficiently and professionally. Went all around the system - fixed several broken sprinkler risers - did so quickly and efficiently and professionally. I was very pleased with their service.

Description of Work: I had some landscaping work that was just completed and we tested the sprinkler system to ensure it was working properly so we did not lose the new sod, tree, and plants. The sprinklers were not working so in a panic, I called Charlie's Wells the next morning and they came out by the end of the same day. The technician, Jarred, was very professional and knowledgeable, and made several repairs to the system to get it back in working order. He also spent time with us telling us how we could make get some of these adjustments on our own if it happened again. He did a great job for a very reasonable price, and Charlie's Wells saved our new landscaping. It has been working perfectly since Jarred fixed it!

Description of Work: Original appointment was made promptly, inspector arrived early, I showed him the timer. He proceeded to inspect and left within 15 minutes. I didn't feel he could turn the zones on from the inside of my garage and go around my house to inspect 6 zones in 15 minutes so I called to complain. Another appointment was made, I was assured the same person would not be back as requested; the next appointment with someone else was postponed/cancelled due to the inspector running several hours late. Another appointment was made and the same person I had requested not come, showed up asking what he had missed! He was on time and we went thru the zones, taking approximately 45 minutes to do so. He found heads he said he had not seen previously, cleaned a couple of heads, replaced a pop up, an extender and nozzle after asking me each time if I wanted him to change the parts. When I asked the cost, he told me he didn't know but he didn't think there would be a charge. I received an invoice for $36.50 which included an half hour for labor $22.50 and $14 for parts. I relayed to the office manager I would pay for the parts but didn't feel I should pay for the time since he had not previously inspected the system properly, also, I was disappointed the same person came that I had requested not to come back. Although the inspector seemed knowledgeable, was polite, didn't seem to rush, as done on the original appointment and did a good inspection when I accompanied him, I would not depend on him to be responsible for maintaining my irrigation system on a permanent basis. There may have been extenuating circumstances that I did not know that made him rush on his first inspection of 15 minutes on 6 zones.

Description of Work: Although the tech was a little late, he performed his inspection quickly and thoroughly and was able to answer my questions. He reprogrammed my sprinkler timer and gave me sound opinions on how long to water the different zones in my yard. I would definitely use Charlie's again.
