Florals By The Sea

Description of Work: They provided flowers for our daughters wedding in Apalachicola, Fl. and they don't normally deliver there so we were going to take the flowers ourselves, to Apalach in an enclosed trailer filled with ice in bins surrounding the inside edges of the trailer. However, the vendor, Florals by the Sea, said that they would feel much better if they could deliver them as they would be assured that they would arrive fresh and beautiful with no chance that they would be wilted like might happen with the trailer system. I paid them $500 to deliver them themselves from Destin to Apalach, above and beyond the cost of the flowers. Well, they got there on time but they were delivered in a regular SUV with only A/C nothing else. After 2.5 hrs. on the road, they arrived dried out and some flowers were already turning brown. We immediately had to dunk the bouquets in water and refrigerate everything, they were extremely dry! There were no water tubes, nothing! The men had orchid boutineres and by the time they got there, the throats of the orchids were already falling apart. The mothers corsages were already dropping petals, the reception wreaths and the swags for the church were so dry that it was embarrassing! All concerned felt that we could have done a better delivery than this and for $500, all we got were dry, brown flowers and a big bill! We were very disappointed! When we called on Tuesday, the brides father and then the bride, the company simply argued that they had no fault at all in anything! Not only were they very very defensive, they were extremely arrogant! In our company if we treated customers like they did, we would have none! We will never use them again and if anyone in the Destin area is smart, they won't either! Simply put: I thought the customer was "always right?" They made no attempt whatsoever to refund any monies or give us anything at all to compensate for the unhappiness that we all experienced! It was awful and sooooo disappointing!

Description of Work: We met in-person with Sally from Florals by the Sea and she provided us with a proposal for flowers/decorations for our wedding in October.
