Everything went great... not only the main issue got fixed but so did another item that was waiting to be repaired as well, since Andre had time to fix it as well. He did an outstanding job repairing the damaged drywall...as good as new!

We used Mr. Handyman for the first time to raise a cabinet and re-caulk our walk in shower.
Our helper, Dan, arrived on time and gave me a fair price before he started any work.
Dan had over 25 years experience in the construction business. He finished the work in a timely manner with excellent results.

Handyman Service
The prices are a rip off. $116 per hour, more than I get paid as a doctor of psychology for an hour session. Mr. Handyman charges $168 for the first hour and then $56 for every 30 minutes beyond one hour. They record the calls and disclose their charges on the call after taking down details of the work needed and having the caller buy into being helped by *licensed and bonded professionals who warranty the work* They make no effort to confirm that the customer actually heard, appreciated, and understood the prices quoted, which totals $952 for one man-day of 8 hours. No written contract was sent and agreed to in advance. In my view they take advantage of older people. Respecting performance, they changed the appointment to an afternoon rather than a morning appointment and did not show up until 3:30 pm. The work that was done was good but the workman had my wife sign what she thought was confirmation of the 2 hours work done on an ipad. On the ipad the prices were not readily visible or pointed out, if they were there at the time. After speaking with one of the owners no adequate accommodation was offered. I do not know if this is a franchise, but, I would not use or recommend the use of this company to an enemy. I do not know what they pay their workman employees, but it is apparent to me that their real business is to market to an older population that needs handyman services, is trusting, and is perhaps not as sharp as its members once were. I dont know how real the company positive reviews are, but, I find the company pricing outrageously expensive. While every effort in the initial contact is made to help the client feel secure, no effort is made to be sure that the client understands just what the services will actually cost, which, again, amounts to $952 for one man day of 8 hours.

The majority of our customers are repeat customers, and our honest, on-line reviews speak for themselves. We clearly state our pricing on each call, which you had heard from the recording we provided to you. We also have our customers sign an invoice on the day of service (which your wife did and provided to you as well), before our technician starts the job, which states the price, so there are no surprises. We may cost a little more, but our customers believe that having a company that is licensed, bonded, and insured, has an office staff to handle scheduling, and warranties their work, is worth it. If you would like to discuss this further, please give us a call in the office."

Drywall Repair
The job was to repair a section of ceiling that was water damaged, including replacing a piece of drywall and painting. We asked them also to repair some vertical blinds on our sliding door that was sagging. Both repairs were done quickly and professionally.
