Extra Space Storage

I used their storage space during my transit when I moved to this city. I had my things there for six months but I don't have their storage space anymore. They charged me $50 per month. I moved my things a month ago. Their price was the best for the space. Overall, I found them to be very responsive but had a problem with the insurance as there was a conflict. I would caution the other members to not use their insurance in case their home owner's insurance will cover the cost of the contents in the storage unit. They would try to add that to the bill and once it is added to the bill, it is not possible to take it off. They were in a lot of different locations throughout the country. They made it seem like insurance is required and it may in fact be required to have some sort of insurance but it is certainly not required to have their insurance. They will add an additional of $5 a month for the insurance. If the home owner's insurance covers the contents in the storage unit, they may require a statement from the insurance company stating the same which would not be a problem. There was a problem with their online payment system. I had paid in advance but when I went to their website and hit the pay button, it looked like nothing was happening. So, I would hit the button again and again. I would be charged every time that I hit the button. It is ok if you had a good credit card and if you could get the charges reversed. I have actually been waiting for the May charges to be reversed. It is fine but if in case you forget. It would have been helpful if there was a little bit more connectedness. They were nice when they got to know and corrected the problem. If they had a storage unit in this area, I would consider using them in the future but it would still be twenty five miles away. They gave me some extra space overall and their facility was very good. They seemed to have proper water drainage. All the walls were either built of metal or cement and not drywall as there would have been a security issue if they had drywall. The walls went all the way up to the ceiling. They were very steady, well done and a new facility. My storage unit was 5-by-10. I have used them once before.

They are very clean and neat. The personnel have been extremely helpful. They repair the mechanical gate quickly when it stalls due to its excessive use, and they are always good.
