Had an issue with a light switch, they responded within a few hours. Dave was outstanding understanding my situation and sent Tony out to rectify. Tony arrived in a short period of time as David had stated. Found the issue and corrected it. Outstanding company

The man who came out to fix the light above my vanity was very nice and said it needed a new fixture inside besides the wiring was not good. Said it could have started a fire as the light kept going on and off. I felt bad for the man though as he was in pain due to a kidney stone, but even cleaned out the exhaust fan for us. But the gentelman who was supposed to put in a new exhaust fan from Mr. Electric did not understand what we wanted. We asked for a bigger fan but he said he would have to cut a bigger hole in our attic and put boards up there and we said no. We told him to just get a new exhaust fan with a light. He went to the store but just dropped the fan off he bought. It ended up being just a fan without a light. He never came back and the man who fixed the light above my vanity took it with him. Never heard from anyone again.

They were gone 2 hours then came back and stayed until later at night. Left holes and the supervisor didn't come back to check the work. Then asked me to give the check to the guy who was working without a signature of completion or receipt.

They did excellent work. They didn't finish the job because it was getting late. They did 80% of the job. I made the mistake of paying for the job in full on the promise they would return to finish. They never came back. Didn't return multiple phone calls and emails.

Hired them to come out a fix a circuit problem. Did not show up during the day and did not notify me until 7:45pm of the day. They sent a tech out the next day and checked out a circuit breaker and basically said he didn't know what the problem was. This was Mr. Electric from Naperville.

I would give them a zero if I could. I can't fault them for the work as they did a great job, just lack ethics. I lost complete power the day before Memorial day, and it was about 95 degrees. So on Memorial Day I called this guy, and he showed up within an hour which was great on a holiday. He told me it was a power surge and we could do it through insurance. Great news again. He was there 30 minutes and left. The next morning, I signed the work order for them to start work. Up to this point they mentioned nothing on price. They spent 8 hours replacing the breaker box, as they diagnosed it, and everything worked great. I gave them my deductible and off they went. Then a week later the insurance called. This guy charged $8800 for 8 hours of work to replace a breaker box. My insurance checked in the area and found the max bill for this work was $2505. They charged $1000 for "emergency services" because I guess he was at my house for 30 minutes on Memorial day. He charged $550 for OFFERING me a power strip (which they needed for light anyway) from a generator to plug in the fridge I had already removed my food from. I plugged nothing in. Another $800 for some electrical test that was probably just BS, and other questionable charges. The insurance sent me a check for their quoted amount, and I will be sending them another $1505 for a total of $2505. After that, who knows what they'll try for the other $6000. I hope they're reading this, and know who I am, so they know that I record all my phone conversations. One of them was bragging about how "the insurance company will usually cover whatever they put in the bill" over the phone among other questionable material. They won't see another dime from me, and if the $6k is more important than the business, they're welcome to take me to court and be laughed at. Once again..... work was great, fast, and solid. I just don't see how ethically you can charge $1000/hr in labor for replacing a breaker box.

I had a large amount of work done, including installing 24 can lights, replacing all existing light fixtures, as well as repairing and replacing several outlets and switches. The result exceeded my expectations and I will be hiring them for future projects.

I would NEVER use Mr. Electric of Naperville again. Technicians arrived 3 hours late after appointment. Salesperson only interested if there was an Insurance claim and the claim #. No estimate, waited a month after work to receive the bill. $9,139 to test, replace breaker panel, feeder cables & affected circuits in residence. Actual workers on job did do a great job. Insist on a written estimate and check your contractors before hiring them
