He came to look at the project to fix some switches. He took the plates off my switches and left for an emergency and never called or came back.

My issue unfortunately was a simple fix, my breaker was no correctly marked. But, when I received my quote the previously day I agreed to pay a diagnostic charge because the representative stated that the problem could be complex. The electrician that came charged me $200.00 for flipping my breaker. I would have been happy to pay for mileage and travel. I guess building trust and customer retention clearly not the companies goal.

Great customer service, i called Mr. Electric and had a electrician And a service manager at my house in less than an hour. The quality of work is great, but i did feel like the price was estimated in a rush and was pretty steep. But overall i was very satisfied.

The original quote was $450 to replace two ballasts and replace a light switch panel, including parts. I ended up providing the two ballasts, which he had quoted me as $40 or $50 each, although I purchased them for $15 each. The work took an hour and a half and then he said the total was $550!!! I reminded him the original quote was $450 and that I had provided the ballasts. I ended up paying the $450 but I feel like that was way too high to begin with and then should have been $80 - $100 less because he didn't have to purchase those materials that were in the original quote. The work was good and timely but I feel like I paid too much.
