Jeff did a good job, however, once he had most of my money he lost all desire to finish the project. 6 months later my valance fell I called him a couple of times and texted. I told him I just needed the part and I will install it. He still has not responded. Disappointing.

We had Jeff do Storm/Hurricane Shutters for us. Jeff arrived within a few days to give us a free estimate and delivered the product to our satisfaction within a very reasonable time frame. He not only gave us the best quote but the earliest delivery time. Jeff is true to his word, great to work with and deliveries complete satisfaction. Highly recommend, especially since this is suppose to be a busier than usual hurricane season. Hire Jeff you won't regret it.

Jeff and his team were great. He responded to my initial request right away and came out within a few days for a free quote. He educated me on products and options and was very professional. His installers were at my house for a very long and hot day. They were careful of our belongings and really explained how to use our new shutters and how to store. This was a great experience that we had been putting off for years. So glad we have the new shutters.

Everything went well. We were told it would take 3-4 weeks and that is how long it took for the hurricane shutters to be installed. Everyone was very professional.

I made the decision to get shutters after the new year so there would be plenty of time for ordering and installation. I went online with HomeaAdvisor and chose Shade Solutions by JK Studio. Jeff came out the next day to help me determine the most cost effective and easiest shutters to use for my home. It took exactly 19 days for the Accordion shutters to be installed. They are the Bertha shutters and provide protection against Category 5 hurricane winds and are approved by both Dade County and the Florida Building Code.

My awning was supposed to be installed before Christmas. It is stilled not installed and I was never notified that there would be a delay due to the manufacturer taking the month of Dec. off. I had to email Jeff twice before I received an answer. Now it will not be installed until mid Jan. I'm not happy. I cannot answer the last 3 ?s honestly due to the delay,

Jeff explained the different shutters available and demonstrated to my wife and I on a miniature version of the accordion shutters that we purchased how everything would function. Jeff stated to contact him personally if we had any questions. That is a great feeling. Installation went quickly and Jeff showed us how to lock, unlock and secure the shutters. Great Job!!

Everyone was very polite and understanding. Wanted to make sure I got what I needed not other items which would have been more expensive. Even spoke to my wife to make sure she was happy too. Looking forward to my next project with them.

This is an addendum(correction) to an earlier review, in which I had given a much lower rating.I would have held up the original review, had I been informed earlier about what he planned to do. Job was completed at the quoted price; even though I doubt that he anticipated a crane rental in the original quote. Main deficiency here was clear communication about what was involved. I would have understood about additional time for crane rental, scheduling,etc., if it had been explained to me earlier. The earlier review might have helped expedite the matter, however.

I contacted this firm and contracted with them in Oct.-Nov. of 2018, to have 2 Bahama shutters and 2 sets of hurricane panels. After a lengthy wait of 5 months, they finally showed up for the installation. The panels installation was completed; but the 2 Bahama shutters are still sitting, leaned against a stone wall in my driveway-for 3 weeks. Only 2 men showed up, with a crank hoist, to install the Bahama shutters. They are to be installed on 2 second-story windows. Obviously someone seriously underestimated their capacity to complete the job. I contacted him by e-mail 8 days later; he said that it would be 2 weeks(from original job date) before completion. We are now at 3 weeks and count. Hurricane season starts in almost a month! I have no experience with hurricane shutters; hence, had no real idea of weight. Otherwise, I would have suggested splitting each awning into two separate ones(because of weight and difficulty in installation-lifting,etc.). They are the professionals; I am not! At this point, I am extremely disappointed in this firm. Another side note: Jeff insisted that I get the building permit for this project. and COMPLETELY LEAVE HIS NAME OR HIS FIRMS off the permit.

Jeff honored his quote even though his materials cost had increased $800 over his quote. I did not like the standard hardware used to attach the storm panels to a rear door, Jeff worked out a solution that required him to make several trips to the hardware store and he was able to solve my concerns. Thank you Jeff.

JK Studio Designs are fabulous and offer top of the line products. We are very pleased with our sun shades and would use and recommend their services in the future.
