Precision Overhead Garage Door

first tech did not have correct seal. tech came back 3 days later with proper equipment,

We recently moved to the house. The garage door sometimes had a loud bang when it was opening or closing. It appears to be the spring releasing tension. Noticed there was only one spring on the door rather than the normal two. Precision came out and checked it out. They noticed that because of the single spring, the tension on the door was being directed to one side causing one bearing to separate. They replace the single spring with two so the door is now balanced. The bearings were also replaced and two hinges that seemed worn were replaced. They did a good job, were on time and professional.

It was a tradeoff, I needed the weatherstrip, but I also had a broken garage door opener. He did not have a weatherstrip to fit, but did have the part to fix the door opener. So, the door opener now works great, but no weatherstrip - yet. He was very pleasent and neat.

It was very good and I spent a little more than the cost of the deal. My wife was here with the garage repair man and I was at work and we spent close to $250 in total. We were very pleased because they solved our problems and they told us what we could do to reduce the irregularities with our garage door.

He went about his business without delay and was very knowledgeable about his profession.

Not sure I needed the wheels but I went with the tech's recommendation. Very punctual and performed services as described. However, I was emailed the invoice and saw a $20 fuel charge. I live in the advertised area and he fixed everything on the spot without having to come back so I am pretty unhappy about the charge. I drive 60 miles roundtrip per day for work and do not charge my employer for gas. I do not use companies that do and would have called someone else with as good a rating had I known. Fuel cost is the cost of running a business. **Update** company saw this post and refunded surcharge and gave me a discount---since I was unaware of the charge and not 100% satisfied, they called me and made it right. Awesome.

They were excellent. The garage door was in very bad shape and I knew that it needed extensive repairs. They came in and did the repairs on the same day that I called. They were very efficient and very professional. Everything about the work that was done was a straight A work all the way through. The one nice thing about it, after the day that they left, I happened to receive one of the booklets that Angie's List offers and it had a $50 worth coupon for garage door repair from this particular company. This was after I already had the work done and I sent them a note and said, "You know, I just got this," and they honored it retroactively.

Technician was very nice. Showed up on time to perform work. After examining my garage door he determined his product would not work because of age of my door. Advised me to contact Angie's List for refund.

It went fine. They actually showed us where we needed quite a few more things done so the total bill ended up being $640 but they applied the $89 coupon with that, so we were happy with that. They actually gave us a keypad at cost because they said that there was another deal that included the keypad so they basically tried to honor that as well with ours. They called before they came and they were very thorough with their explanation of what they thought we needed to improve the garage door. They worked well and they worked on it for about an hour. They made it so that it was not loud and obnoxious. We were satisfied with the job. I did not really do any computer shopping on the service so I do not really know how much all the things that they did would have come up to.

Showed up in the window on time and did the work quickly.

I couldn't even open the garage door to get my car out to go to work this morning. A spring broke on the garage door and it was too heavy for me to lift! I went to Angie's List to look for a repair company and ran across Precision. They had an A rating and the most comments. They also had a nice coupon that caught my eye. I called and within 2 hours they sent a residential technician by the name of Mike Boyle, a wonderful young man who has been with Precision for 8 years. He had the door working like new within an hour and a half. He was friendly, polite, knowledgable, and professional. Overall experience was phenomenal. We've lived in our house for 13 years and this was our first problem with the garage door opener. Thanks Precision!!!!

Replace rollers with nylon, checked tensions, springs, chain. replaced garage door sensor. I had nothing to judge price by as tech found door did not close due to a bad sensor which he replace for $119. If that was a fair price then I saved the cost of a service call and had rollers replaced which led to a quieter operation

I was very pleased with the service from Precision Overhead Garage Door and would use them again. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. I stood by while the work was being done so that I could learn what to look for and how I can do some of my own maintenance going forward. In addition to the normal maintenance, the security sensor was replaced and that's why my cost is a little higher. The old sensor was clearly broken because the wire connection was damaged and it was completely my decision to replace rather than repair it. I would absolutely call them again.

It worked out great. They came within a few weeks after I purchased the deal to do the work and we spent a total of $150 for the 2 deals we bought with them.

All went well and even checked 2nd garage door. Put new battery in my remote and it works beautifully again -I thought it was broken. That date of service may not be right but grades of A are.

Great. Showed up on time. Very professional. Discussed what is included in what I purchased from Angie's List. Showed other items to be aware of ( we just bought an existing home). Gave me a good price on changing out the worn wheels along the track with newer ones. Door is much quieter now.

I called the day before and made appointment for 12 to 4 the next day. At approximately 10 AM they called to let me know that they were ahead of schedule and asked if they could come in 15 minutes. They arrived on time. It took less than 10 minutes to diagnose the problem. The work was done in less than an hour. I would definitely call them back in the future.

Precision was awesome. My torsion spring broke on my 2 x car garage door and they showed up the very next day. They repaced all torsion springs (per my request) and installed new rollers and brackets (better than the original hardware). I also asked for 2 new remotes for my single car garage door (lost the originals) and the ones they provided actual will open either door (very nice). I asked to replace the single car garage door opener because it was over 10 years old; however, they inspected it and said it was in very good shape and just adjusted the chain and tweaked a few things (at no additional charge); saved me unnessaryadditional costs. My thought was that while they were they that I wanted them to do whatever needed to be done to bring everything back up to specs. They were very polite and the customer service was outstanding (my number one criteria for a company). Although the price may not be the lowest, you get what you pay for and they charged my at a "tune-up" rate which saved me money and it gave me a 5 year parts and labor warranty basically for doing the same service I originally asked for. I will recommed them to anyone.

Replaced springs and rollers. Added a brace that was bent. Our door is now quiet and we are happy.

They took the old weather sealer off and installed a new one. It was fast and efficient.

I was prepared to spend the money to basically overhaul my garage doors, but could not get the local companies to take care of it for me. I scheduled my tune up knowing I needed work.
