Precision Overhead Garage Door

It was a long-awaited maintenance and glad I did it.

I purchased this item on a "Big Deal of the Day". I have used Precision Overhead Garage Doors before and was comfortable using them again. They do good work, are professional and timely. I will use them again if I need garage door service.

I had originally arranged to have precision come out and tune up the garage door. I had no idea how long it had been since any maintenance had been done on it. When they came out, they were on time and professional. Their technician had me look at some problem areas and even though it was expensive, I bit the bullet and had the spring and bushings replaced and the whole thing tuned up. I appreciate being shown the problem areas without feeling like it was a hard sell.

Everything turned out fine. They were able to come out shortly after I had purchased the big deal and scheduling went well. They were here when they were supppose to be. They were true to their word and the garage door works fine.

Precision did an excellent job. Arrived within the stated window of time and had the old door down and new door installed in about 3 hours. Works great....Very professional.

On a Friday night my garage door broke trapping my car inside. Using Angies list i quickly found Precision Overhead Garage doors. I was impressed by the number of very positive reviews. A few clicks and I was chatting online with a service rep from Precision and quickly had a technician on their way to my house. Upon arrival I learned why Precision has so many positive reviews. The rep Matt had the problem resolved, checked out my overall system and recommended a few minor maintenance items. You could tell from dealing with them that they are good people and committed to customer service. I recommend them highly.

Our garage door which we purchased two years ago from a big box store was no longer staying closed but automatically reversing. The warranty on the door was only one year and when we called the original installer, they gave us a time frame of two days to come look at it. Precison Door came the same day, showed us all the parts that were plastic that had been installed. Explained that they used hard rubber which lasted longer and would give us 5 year guarantee. I no longer remember the young mans' name that serviced the door for us, but he was terrific and we were thrilled!

They were prompt, they did the work for the price that was quoted, and they did a good job. I thought the price was fair and the quality of the work was good.

In and out in less than an hour for the whole job.

It was good. It was just a routine thing and it was fine. They did a good job.

Bought the tune up which included replacing the rollers. What a difference! We also went ahead and had the springs replaced - we could see how the existing ones were not holding the door. Frank was very professional. I would highly recommend this company as we felt the service was excellent.

The technician did an excellent job and was very informative and make some recommendations based on inspection. I am very happy wth results.

They came the day we asked and on time. They also completed the job when they said. The cost estimate for the additional work was accurate and the price was fair. Overall, we were very pleased with the service.

Mike Boyle arrived on time, after being courteous by giving me a call saying he would arrive shortly. Mike examined the broken springs, and determined that the broken springs had been the wrong size for the garage door. Mike, using graceful proficiency and a very sound knowledge base, made quick work of installing new torsion springs of the right size for my garage door. Mike also adjusted the door, and pointed out a few areas of wear that would be in need of repair in the future. Mike will be requested for any future garage door needs. Thanks Mike, for being prompt, professional, and reliable!

It was great. I paid more than the "Big Deal" because I upgraded, I bought additional equipment.

the Guys were pleasant and professional the rplaced the rubber on the bottom of Garage door also repaced the button on the wall which I was having trouble with and oiled so it didn't make noises , I have uses Precision before and I think they are great, they always do a good job and I would deffinatly use them again

Well, as I had mentioned above, precision door arrived promptly at the appointment time. He was very courteous & informative. When I provided the copies of my two deals, he went on to explain what he was going to do. Well, this is when I realized that one of the deals was for a garage opener & mine was working just fine. So this is why I requested a reimbursement today. The precision employee was honest enough to educate me rather than allow me to have paid for a working component on my garage door. He did perform the weather seal and went beyond his job and straightened out my garage door base for no extra charge! So I would highly recommend Precision Door to anyone interested in getting any component of their garage doer repaired. I look forward to receiving my refund as soon as possible. My experience went very well. The technician was very friendly, prompt and professional. The pricing was reasonable and I was pleased with the outcome of the service. I would recommend this company to others.

We had a VERY noisy garage door upon our purchasing our new home and the squealing were nerve-racking, enough to make us grind our teeth. Not to mention the broadcasting it was doing to everyone within earshot that we were coming or going from our home. So we took advantage of this promotion and, within minutes of purchasing the voucher, we were able to schedule our appointment for the very next day :) The technician who arrived - Ryan - was very knowledgeable and professional and overall nice. So it was good of him to answer all of our questions since we didn't really know the age and expected lifespan of our garage door. He was very honest in his recommendations to help us extend the use of the door instead of pitching us a sales thing...which isn't his job anyway, but some people do that. In my book, he's already gained my respect. He went on to conduct the inspection of the door and supporting components with me there (he mentioned that it's good when his clients want to be present during the inspection for educational purposes) and he pointed out in detail those "must watch areas" for signs of wear and tear, etc. We diagnosed the cause of the unbearable squeal and, while it wasn't rocket science, he explained the underlying cause of it and some other issues that would need attention in the future when we felt ready. He caught the loose bolts/nuts (which was our own personal test to see if he was paying attention, haha) and finished up by lubricating various parts of the components and adjusting the tracks. End result: a quieter door with zero squealing and a set of more educated homeowners. Now that Ryan and Precision helped us establish a baseline for our door's maintenance plan, we are more in tune with exactly how to maintain our door properly. Yes, the work could've been done by anyone who can follow Youtube video demonstrations, but we didn't want to risk breaking something and having to call for help outside of the scope of the voucher (which - by Murphy's law - probably would've happened). We received the services we paid for and are VERY happy with the result. Thank you Precision and Ryan for your professionalism and excellent client service.

Works great. Very noisy before. Hardly hear it opening and closing now. I was a little confused about the savings I was supposed to receive for purchasing the $89 dollar deal. I thought I was supposed to receive $150 or $200 worth of work for $89. They did apply the $89 towards the $650 and didn't charge sales tax. No worries. Work was done fast and good.
