Precision Overhead Garage Door

He arrived on time, ran the garage door and provided a breakdown of the services he recommended. He was very professional and obviously knew what he was doing. He completed the work in a two hours, cleaned up and the garage door has never been quieter. It was nice to know that the motor didn't have to be replaced and he said that it should last many more years.

We are very happy with the entire process. I called Precision at 8:30 a.m. to make an appointment for someone to come out and fix our garage doors, it would not open. Tom arrived at 9:30 and was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Within an hour the garage doors were fixed (rebuilt) and were like new. He replaced the two large springs, the bearings and all the rollers . He applied the Angie's list discount and there is also a five year guarantee for any issues that should come up. Excellent tech, John, explained everything, arrived on time, same day. Will definitely use again when I replace the keypad.

It was very good. They came on time. They did what they said they were going to do. When they left my garage door opener which had been malfunctioning, it was functioning perfectly.

All adjustments were made and I plan on not needing service again for many years as the old parts were 12 years old.

They were prompt, professional, and did what they said they would do. They also gave me an estimate for a new garage door. I am planning on using their services to do this in the future.

They have been out three times on the same related issue and have tried to fix the bump the door makes when going up, which began after they serviced and replaced one set of bearrings and pried the main spring bar back, as it seemed warped a bit. Now they tell us the lifetime warranty only covers certain parts and not labor, which was NOT what we spent $900 for to get that warranty.

They respond quickly, do a good diagnosis of the problem and explain what work they recommend very clearly. In our case, it required a new garage door opener and they gave me a number of options from which to choose. I made a choice that I was comfortable with and that they ensured would be a first-rate product. I was certainly not disappointed. Technician rebuilt/replaced all worn out moving parts of the garage door. This thing is amazing! Unless you're in the garage, you can't hear it operating! Technician "Doug" was very professional and knowledgeable, and explained all aspects of work to be preformed. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a new door opener.

It worked out fine. They came out within the first few weeks after I purchased the big deal. It was fine. He came out, he was polite, he did his job and we were happy with it. We had to buy another part but it was fine, it wasn't like he was hustling. He showed me the worn part and I agreed that I needed to make another purchase. The part cost me $50.

The repairman was really nice and of course found other things that were suggested that we repair. We are senior citizens and not knowing very much about garage doors, we went along with everything suggested. Our total bill came to over $500.00 plus the $89.00 special. Our door is working fine so they must have done a good job. If the door needed all of the suggested repairs we are happy with their service.

I have a very old garage door. Keith Allen, Precision Door Service Technician, was working on a garage door across the street when I opened my garage door and it made so much noise he told me he could stop the noise and gave me his card. I called and made an appointment and requested Keith Allen. He came and did exactly what he said he could do. It was in pretty bad shape and he did a very good job.

It was fantastic. They responded right away. Our garage door was stuck in the down position, couldn't get it opened. They came out that very same day. My motorcycle was outside and it was getting ready to storm and they came that day and took care of it.

It went great! They showed up when promised and did the work quickly and completely. They explained everything they did and went above and beyond to replace the broken part on one door and do some preventive maintenance on another. Friendly and articulate and VERY professional, I will call them again if I need their services!

The service worked out very well, there were no problems at all. The services were excellent, every thing worked out, and the price was right. The interaction with them was very good, and the work turned out good. I paid additional charges.

I needed some repair work on my garage door and found a special deal on Angie's List for just what I needed as described above. Tom called ahead and arrived within the promised window of time. Tom was very nice and professional as he explained exactly what he would do and the outcome I could expect. Everything was done quickly and exceptionally well and I'm tremendously happy with the job. I'm going to need my garage door replaced within the next couple years or so and I will certainly call Precision to do the job!

I've used them in the past and I would use them again.

It took them a while to figure out how to un-install the existing seal on my door. But they figured it out and installed the new seal. I must say that the quality of the new seal did not seem to be as good as my original seal; the rubber is not as thick. But I figured that's what you get for a "Deal". They performed the inspection and immediately started saying that my door was not working correctly, previous tune-ups weren't done correctly, before too long I would not be able to open my door, etc. They provided a worksheet with all the items I "really needed to replace" (such as the springs and other parts). I told them that I did not want to replace anything at that time. I also told them that I could purchase an entire new door for not much more than all the repairs they thought I needed. It has been 5 months since they were here. My door is working fine.

Blake and his teammate did an excellent job. They came to give and estimate. We were satisfied with estimate so they did the job in one hour. We did not expect that. We will use and recommend them to others. I hope I have the right one on this survey. Great job!
