The Precision Overhead Garage Door Service technician arrived during the scheduled time frame to install the Keyless Garage Entry Pad. Note: The technician sent was pre-aware that two (2) separate deals had been purchased, and as requested, was ready to perform both jobs during the same service call, which was greatly appreciated. Also, there was the possibility of a repair on my current external remote system and what would work best with the new Keyless Garage Entry Pad to be installed. I chose the option to purchase separately a new External Receiver and 2-button Remote to replace my old remote system. All work was completed efficiently and all devices tested for proper functionality. The work was performed and results reviewed with me and my questions answered. A report was emailed to me for my records. I would use Precision again for my garage door needs.

The technician was courtesy and professional and explained what he was going to do. The old seal was removed and the area cleaned before the new T-Rail Bottom Seal was put into place. The work was completed efficiently and tested for functionality. The Seal functioned as described. The Door Tune Up was performed and results reviewed with me and my questions answered. The report was emailed to me for my records. I would use Precision again for my garage door needs.

My garage door is over 20 years old. I wanted a weather seal to keep the grass from coming into when the lawn was being mowed, but he told me a weather seal wouldn't help with that. He did a look over on the door, and said it needed a new spring. He did a good job, and left me a lot of information in case I needed any help. He said he would come out and take care of it. Because I didn't end up needing the weather seal, he took the $89 off of the final price.

Work was done as per Angie's List contract and some additional work recommended by the Technician.

The estimate proposed a new direct- drive opener as opposed to a chain-drive, which we had. "Doug" installed the new direct drive, and set the code. Then he replaced the springs (also in the estimate) and explained that the age and weight of the door with the hurricane braces on it required new springs. Then he started lubricating and tightning the door runners, the channels they run in, and every moving piece working on that door. He then installed a new security panel on the inside of the garage, set it up, and then replaced the security panel on the outside of the door and set up the new code. We could not believe the difference in the sound (or the lack thereof) when he engaged the door!! We thought the door had been replaced! Doug is a very meticulous installer and did an excellent job replacing everything we had agreed to (which was everything he had suggested.) What do we know about garage doors except to push the button. Now we know a lot more! He was so kind and professional and did a wonderful job. We are extremely pleased with him and everything about Precision Over Head Garage Door Service. The price was 'right on' with the new equipment and the service provided.

Mike showed up early for his appointment, waited patiently while I arrived from work, all the time keeping in contact with me. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He tuned up my garage door (which is very old) and gave me some pointers as to what to do in the future. I needed a new garage door opener which he had in his truck and was completed in no time! Would definitely recommend Precision to family and friends.

They did a good job. He tried to push me to buy other stuff. I didn't like that part. The price was good. It was a good offer.

It was okay. There was nothing special. Their prices are extremely high. I just wanted to get a new garage door opener. They wanted $600 for off-brand. So, I bought a top number one brand new one for $277. The guy was okay. But, there is nothing to brag about. The guy was nice enough. I had no problems. The prices were extremely high and I decided to go with somebody else.

I have been a customer of Precision Garage Door Service for over 11 years and is the only company that I trust to handle my garage doors. Today, I had my Garage Door tuned up (tracks and rails adjusted, opener limits and force set, belt tension adjusted, balanced springs, replaces missing bolts/nuts, lubricated door and opener, installed nylon rollers with bearings, and torsion cables replaced) and had my springs replaced (warranty). Setting up an appointment was easy and John T (Senior Technician) arrived on time and gave me a courtesy call ahead of time. John was very friendly, professional and did a great job. He explained what he was going to do and did the work efficiently. I will continue to use Precision Garage Door Services in the future and continue to recommend them to my family & friends. Great job as usual!

He showed up when he promised and was very professional throughout the time. Work was done efficiently and quickly and we've had zero problems with our door ever since. I would highly recommend him and use him again if necessary.

Excellent company! Extremely professional. Let's you know ahead of time which one of their techs will be at your home and a time range. The tech was on time and very professional, explaining the complete workings of my garage door. There was no pressure to purchase other services other than the "tune up" that I contracted for. I would definitely use this company again should I need a new garage door or any repairs.

The tech was wonderful. Expaining as he went.And always giving us options. He felt our door was sound, and didn't need replaceing and had all the parts to fix the garage door the same day.

Installer really went the extra mile! Picked up a foreclosed home a few months ago and the original garage door was replaced, but the Genie opener was left as-is. Eventually, the opener died and I contacted Precision based on their extensive Angie's list review history. Once the replacement work had started, it became clear that the company used by the selling bank to replace the original garage door (not Precision!) took several shortcuts during their install. Ultimately, the door's spring pad needed to be replaced, as did the low quality, pin-style door rollers. Precision's installer showed me exactly why these replacements needed to be made and allowed me to observe as he took care of the replacement. He tensioned the door spring and ran additional anchor bolts on the spring pad, to ensure the install was secure. The door is quieter and smoother in its operation than ever before. Could not be happier!

Precision Overhead Garage Door Service did a superb job of assessing our garage door and opener. They uncovered a problem with our old opener and offered several options to address both the immediate problems and potential future risks. We elected to replace the opener and other worn hardware, and we accepted enhancements that will make our door more hurricane resistant. Throughout the service, Bob & Sean were very professional, knowledgeable, personable, and efficient.

They were right on time. He tried to up sell me. He did the job I asked him to do.

We came home last night to a garage door that wouldn't open. The door had also been getting progressively louder Bob from Precision Overhead Garage Door came out the next evening. They could have come out sooner, but we couldn't have anyone home. They were also nice enough to give me a 30 minute heads up that they were on their way. Bob explained that the garage door opener was old. He said we didn't have to replace it, but if we didn't, it would keep doing the same thing and it was barely functioning. He also explained that a coil was coming undone because it had started to unravel. He also said that we needed safety eyes and that it would come with the new opener because the law requires them. Bob clearly explained our options and the pricing. We chose a mid-level garage door opener, which ended up being upgraded. The door opener is very quiet and works well. He replaced the pad on the wall, and now we have light whereas we did not before. They installed a pad on the outside of the garage that will allow the garage to be opened without a remote. I can't give enough credit to Bob. He's a real asset to this company and was professional, kind and knowledgeable. He is a great example of what every service person should aspire to be. Overhead Door should be proud to have him as an employee.

The tech was on time. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I showed him the gap between the ground and my garage door that I was trying to eliminate with the weather seal and he went the extra mile to make sure the weather seal fixed that. He recommended additional repairs, but did not pressure me to decide while he was there. I would definitely recommend Precision.
