Precision Overhead Garage Door

It was great. Made the appointment, they sent me an email confirmation with the technicians name. I received another email reminder the day of the appointment and a phone call from tech. The repair is great, my older door is so quiet now. Ben, the tech, went over everything with me and suggested future replacements. No pressure. I have used them in the past and will use them again for replacement when necessary. I also received an email copy of invoice and copy of inspection.

Precision scheduled me within 36 hours of my initial phone call. Staff was polite and confirmed my appointment - even called to check if an earlier time was more convenient when the technician finished a near-by job earlier than anticipated. The repair technician quickly ad efficiently repaired my garage door (only one hour for spring and coupler replacement) and provided some very helpful maintenance information. I will call Precision again if needed.

This was an urgent issue. My door was stuck open and I could not leave for work. The technician, Ryan Goodman, arrived within an hour and fixed the short and explained what to do should this happen in the future. He was very professional and courteous. I will call this company next time I have an issue.

It never fails that on a holiday weekend our garage door springs decided to snap Sunday evening. We immediately pulled up Angies List to see who had weekend 24/7 service. Prevision, unfortunately, couldn't accommodate us but did say they could have someone out first thing in the morning. We were so fortunate to have Bryan Stewart some out. He called before his arrival and immediately evaluated what had happened. Of course the only car stuck in the garage was the new car so he patiently waited while we had to adjust some things so he would have space to work. We had also mentioned that the door was squeaking really loud when it would go up & down and asked that he also checked the bearings. He replaced the springs in no time and did show us that the bearings were also starting to show some wear. He never "pushed" product like some companies do - which was much appreciated. So while we asked that he replace the bearings we also asked if we would replace the rollers which it turned out was where the noise was coming from. When all was said and done you couldn't even hear the door go up or down. Plus, Bryan took the time to explain what he was doing and showed us how to keep the door in good shape. We are so impressed with the professionalism, workmanship and service we will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Bryan for a job well done.

Precision will come out for an estimate but refused to provide same day service. POOR customer service. Let me be precise, I will definitely need a new door but it wont be from Precision.

I had Precision come out to repair a broken spring. The tech arrived 15mins before the 2 hour window which is great. he was polite and professional another plus. he did his "assessment" and then proceeded to try and "up-sell" me almost $700 worth of stuff i didnt need. they first tried to sell me on an additional spring... oddly enough the single spring i had worked fine for the last who knows how many years. then they tried to sell me some high quality powder coated spring for 3x as much. he then told me he couldnt use the old plastic bearing which has worked fine for the last 20 years and that i must buy a new $85 center bearing. then he proceeded to try and up sell me on 2 new outer bearing and a new track(it had a few minor dents in it) again all things that have worked fine for the last however many years. non of these items were impeding the performance of the garage door. i told him to just do the spring and the center bearing and that was it. he then proceeded to try and slip the track replacement into the work and luckily i caught it before he did the work. They offered no angies list discount nor military discount. The work was done in about 15mins. everyone ive talked to has been surprised at the $234 price tag, including me. they were nice and prompt but i can see how someone could walk away with a WAY higher bill than needed with this company. next time i have garage door issues ill try someone else.

Very professional, courteous service. Would highly recommend this company. Called ahead, arrived on time, explained everything including cost up front, completed work in the time he said it would take and then explained the operation etc.

I started with a squeaky, creaky, 15 year old garage door that closed with a loud bang. The door itself however was in good shape. The external keypad had stopped working. Blake from Precision garage doors arrived on time and work quickly but thoroughly to complete repairs on my door. The door now goes up and down like a hot knife going through butter; it didn't work this well when it was brand new. I'm very late getting this review submitted but I'm still very satisfied with the door's operation 11 months later. I used an Angies List deal for the new bottom seal.

He found several problems which required attention and dealt with them.

The Service Engineer arrived on time, was very smart and polite. He inspected the garage door installation and informed me that replacement of the rollers was unnecessary, as the ones installed were in good condition and designed to minimise noise. The Operative appeared a little embarrassed that I had purchased a package for $89 that was not required. The existing rollers were replaced (even though this was not required), installation of the door checked and lubricated. I cannot fault the Service Engineer but was a little disappointed that a package sold and promoted through Angie's list proved of little or no value. Precision should have at the very least provided a rebate on a service package that turned out to be totally unnecessary. Angie's list should be saving me money not encouraging expenditure on superfluous work.

They were very responsive, showed up on time and had great communication. The quality of the work is great and overall result is better than I expected.

Quick service and very professional

The company was very prompt and professional. They explained every service in detail and provided us what was needed to get the garage door working properly again. We also got some good tips on continued maintenance. Considering what was needed on the door, we were happy they could give us a price that was reasonable.

This was for a new home I am moving into. The worker arrived on time and completed the work according to the Big Deal I had purchased. I found after the work was done that the garage door is only about 8 months old. The tech should have realized and told me the work didn't need to be done. Because of this lack of complete honesty, this company wouldn't be my first choice if I had a future problem, although I wouldn't rule out calling them in an emergency.

They replaced weather strip on bottom of garage door. It was an excellent price.

We set up a call for repair not expecting that Mr Frank Soto would be able to take care of everything that very afternoon which he did. Precision has the trucks prepared to handle almost any repairs including replacing everything needed. There was no mess either after the work was done to clean up.

We were very happy with them. They were prompt, professional, and very good. We'll use them again.

I had some issues with them and I had to call them back out. They did come back out. They removed all the stickers from the previous company I dealt with, to try to prevent me from calling them instead. There were nails coming down off my door. They fixed it. All my popcorn started coming down but they said that's happening everywhere and they didn't address that. There was actually a hole in the middle part of my garage that wasn't there before they came in. He fixed the door, but they tried to get me to do more. I did some things but not others.
