Fast Moves

I was not provided with a written estimate, but against my better judgment, I deferred to the reviews. Because no one came prior to the move, there were some unexpected items the movers were not happy about (a chaise that was in the master). Additionally, they were in a rush because one of them had to get to softball. Minor complaints such as not reading labels (kitchen boxes were in the bedroom, living room boxes in the kitchen) would have been dismissed. However it was compounded by wrapping left on furniture, leaving plastic toothpicks everywhere (still finding them), not attaching my bed frame - it collapsed the first night, cracking a framed picture and the big one- my baby grand piano getting damaged. They sent out an estimator who agreed with the damages and discussed remediation options. I never heard from the owner or the estimators again. That was 6 weeks ago. I can not contest the charges, I paid cash so the owner would not get hit with cc fees. So much for trying to help small businesses. What a huge disappointment. After all is said and done, the few hundred I might have saved by using a local company has been eaten away by the damages I have to fix myself. Never again.

Man, these guys are hard workers and did a great job moving me fast from a 7th floor condo where they were forced to use one elevator and a longe walk through condo garage and down the ramp. It was not easy. But they never complained and were in beastmode the whole time. Their experience showed how they coordinated what they were going to move, worked well together and they were very nice. Big thanks to Mike, Nick and Tony. You guys are awesome and I definetly picked the right company and would recommend Fast Moves to everyone. ~ Sal P

Fast Moves called day before to confirm, movers arrived on time and started work immediately. They were very polite and professional and took care not to damage belongings or property. Price was very competitive. Recommend without any reservations.

They did a good job

The crew loaded items from 2 storage units and unloaded at our new home quickly, efficiently and carefully. The crew was friendly and personable and patient when it took me a few minutes to decide what room I wanted something in. Our long haul mover did not label all our parts and the crew leader was able to identify what parts went with what piece of furniture.

I would recommend Fast Moves to family, friends and colleagues. The guys showed up on time and were very personable. They worked very hard for their money and didn't waste time! They were extremely patient with us as we tried to figure out what would go where in the new house. This was a plus!! They handled our belongs with care and we're happy to disassemble and reassemble things as needed. I was really impressed that they took the extra step of hooking up the washer and plugging in appliances in the garage. My ONLY negative feedback is that better planning prior to the move should have been done, as a few items could not fit in the truck. We will be making several back and forth trips to finish on our own. This was a bummer since it's an hour each way. The price was fantastic. The overall cost was much less than we expected which was a major relief. The moving day went as planned for the most part with barely any stress!

Things are a little crazy this week because of Hurricane Irma. I only wanted a chair moved from one room to another so it was not an emergency. My move was delayed a day because of storm related truck problems for the company. However, yesterday afternoon Randy came out and quickly made the "small" move for me and all is now good. I would definitely use them again.
