Our unexpected service! We’ve been doing a lot of home upgrades lately and our experience with “ArmorTech Windows and Door” has been wonderful. It’s expensive to install category 5 hurricane safe windows in our home. But, with 8 grandchildren visiting often and clearly living in a time when Cat5 storms will soon be the norm, we wanted the extra protection and savings with electric bills. We expect good service. We got Great service. Our sales person, Kevin, was informed, personable, and presented a no pressure information visit with us. Our installation team, Brian and Chad arrived exactly on time each morning, helped move furniture away and back, completely cleaned up after each work day, and were funny, hard working and professional. When we realized the small bathroom window did not have the glazed glass we requested we called “ArmorTech Windows and Door” and were pleasantly surprised to hear, “we are so sorry….our mistake, it will be corrected when we return to install your doors next week.” With all our current home renovations we’ve had some troubles to put it lightly…and not once have we heard the other contracts take responsibility. Blame is always deferred to a “sub contractor” or how we the customer didn’t understand how it works, or we the customer didn’t make “that” request clear when setting up a date for work to start. This is simply a well managed business. “ArmorTech Windows and Door” have arrived when they said they would, kept us informed on the process, and the owner Dave Yount even stopped in to double check measurements when he happened to be in our area. We are so pleased with “ArmorTech Windows and Door” and would recommend them highly to friends and family.

Wouldn't give a quote until we closed on the property. We wanted to get a quote so we could move forward ASAP after closing and this company will not do that. Based off that I will be going with another company that doesn't have this business practice.

All of our questions were answered promptly and we had a LOT of questions. The team arrived on time and finished work the same day. We asked that they replace a specific window first so we could lock the cats away from the work area & they did so without issue. Additional visits were needed to repair a stucco window sill (broken long before the windows were replaced) & to install screw covers on the slider windows. Both tasks were accomplished to our satisfaction. The inspector signed off a few days before Hurricane Irma arrived. (Talk about good timing.) With the new windows, we couldn't hear the wind until it reached peak levels. The windows look much better than our old windows + we're much less worried about storm damage.

My wife says not to use them. She the boss!

Salesperson wasted 3 hours of my time giving "presentation". Project included 7 standard windows (35 by 60 inches), double-pane, double-hang, impact resistant. Quote: over $25k (TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS) STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS !!!

Got a fast and reliable estimate for high quality windows that met Florida Bulding Code requirements. They came and measured while we were gone and the windows were ready for installation sooner than they estimated. I flew down for the installation, but did not need to do that, as the installation went without a hitch, and the clean up was great.

I received an estimate while the representative was at the house. After going to the show room I decided I would like the Simonton window vs. the PGT so asked for a new estimate. I never got the estimate. Called back twice and then just went with another company who was responsive and competitive prices.

Good. Some work still needs to be finished but the Crew that came out and installed the windows did an excellent job. Some windows that were installed need to be replaced because Defects were not caught at the factory's Inspection line apparently.

If you would like an easy professional installation and to be treated with respect, Go To Another Company!!!' As this is not what you get when you use ArmorTech Windows and Doors, especially when dealing with its owner David Yount. These are the things that happened to us! Don't let it happen to you!! We had $20,000 worth of Windows and sliding doors installed. The window were promised to be installed on a certain day, they were not. The date changed 3 times. Finally, the installers arrived and while installing the windows broke my hurricane shutter. I asked the installer not to keep pushing the shutter up, he did it anyway- cost $598.00!! The sliding doors were also installed directly onto the concrete without any concern that floor tiles were going to be installed. Needless to say we did not have any room to install floor tiles. A direct result of installing the sliding doors on the concrete floor was that my new hurricane sliders leaked when it rained!! One day after a really bad rain I came home to a flood in my living room and bedroom!!! As I complained to the owner and told him I will not make another payment until he rectified the situation with the broke hurricane shutter, scratched doors, and water leaking into my condo, David Yount yelled and threaten me. He tried to bully me with a lien on my property if I did not pay All of what I owed him!! At this point the doors and windows were not even inspected yet, had some damage and were leaking!! It took him 6 months to finally rectify the situation after I hired a lawyer. This install has been a nightmare and David Yount is a bully and a liar who takes no responsibility for his incompetent installation team and poor workmanship!! He always manages to turn things back onto the consumer. I was just standing up for myself and refused to pay until all issues were corrected! Do not put yourself in this position as there are so many other respected companies who stand behind their work without yelling at their customers and without any problems!! Please, see the pictures of the work done. Pictures do not lie. In addition, maybe he should get his facts straight before commenting about my contractors.

Outstanding! I received same-day service and they arrived right on time. They explained possible charges to me on the phone before I set up the appointment. The provider was very professional and explained everything he was doing, and why. He was very thorough in his assessment. I would definitely use their services again.

My experience with Armortech Windows & Doors was excellent. The salesman was through, windows came in as promised. The installation crew were uniformed, neat and cleaned up after themselves each day. This is what I was promised, and they delivered. My big concern was the installation of a new window in my block wall. The installer was perfect. He cut a new hole, reinforced the wall correctly, installed the new glass. He refinished the wall inside and out so that it looked like it was always there. The company called before crews came out, they arrived on time. My questions were promptly answered on the phone. That being said, I cannot recommend Simington windows for a small opening. The large vinyl perimeter frame is ok on a large window, but its the same size on a small window. It takes away a lot of glass area on a small window. On October 15th 2015 I signed an agreement for a sliding glass door with installation with Armortech. My sales person was Andrew. Andrew was professional, informative, and had ready answers to questions. There was also a follow up meeting with the business owner Dave Yount, after I signed the agreement. The work commenced after the custom sliding glass door arrived to their facility at the end of January. The installation team (Matt and Chris I believe) were good and worked well together. Pat who does the cement/ stucco/plastering work was OUTSTANDING! He is a creative artist in cement and plaster finish making the house look like the exterior was never touched! He really takes pride in his work. Using Armortech was a good experience and the price was good as well. I highly recommend their service! Thank you

It was a drawn out process. We were quoted in April and they finished in November. They shouldn't have drawn a two month project into a six month project. There was a month that we didn't talk. They wanted all of the money and I told them we agreed to pay half upfront and the other half when the job was done. I said no, they needed to honor the agreement.

From the beginning of our contact with Armortech, which was with Russ Strack, through the completion of the entire project, everything went well. Russ guided us through the proposal and final decision phase for the windows and doors. He provided recommendations and why he believed his suggestions provided a superior project. Brian led an installation crew that varied from 3-5 workers to remove and replace 12 transom windows, 1 eyebrow window, 10 sliding glass doors, 2 fixed windows, a double front door, and a bathroom exterior door. At the end of each day, the clean up was such that you would not know they had been here all day. Within 5 days all the replacements were done. A week later 2 workers were on-site for 2 days doing stucco bands around the sliding glass doors. The stucco work was outstanding. Two weeks later, after the stucco cured, the painter was out to paint the stucco bands and doors. We had a concern about the height of the interior threshold for the new double doors. Jeff, a co-owner, came out. He listened to our concerns and made proposals to address our concern. Within a couple of hours he had constructed a threshold that not only met our needs but improved the overall appearance. Throughout the remodeling process when we had a concern or question, everyone we dealt with listened and readily handled our issues. From start to finish we are pleased with the craftsmanship and professionalism of everyone from Armortech.

We chose the Simonton windows. Superior quality windows and superior installation. Front door is beautiful and very happy with the installation. It took a few visits before it was complete due to inspections but all in all I give them an A for service and installation. My neighbors next door have asked your salesman to come out to give them a quote.

We had pretty much decided they would do our windows, but did have several questions before committing to the job. We would email the sales rep back - and get no response after days went by. We always had to contact him several times before we got an answer, and would usually get an excuse as to why he had not followed up with us. Finally, after several weeks of this sales approach, we lost confidence in the company and their approach to sales and concern it would carry over to the conduct of the project. .

Dave Yount, the president came out to the house to provide options, and measure the windows and doors himself. He invited us to come to his showroom to see and feel the differences in the glass, e-ratings, colors, and to look at sample decorative doors. And are we glad he did!! We fell in love with a decorative glass door in his showroom (more styles were also available in the catalogues), and it now hangs in our doorway!! Communications have been easy, responsive, and always professional, friendly, informative and courteous (in person, phone and on-line). Timelines are reasonable, as are prices. Dave was able to make well-informed recommendations about current design and products for our home, once he ascertained our general requirements, yet was willing to follow our overall desires. The 2 gentlemen that came to install our windows and doors, Brian and Zach, were professional, friendly, skilled, and tidy! Their installation was seamless, demonstrating quality craftsmanship. We plan to continue to have Dave and his company back (including Brian and Zach as installers) as we gradually replace the remainder of our windows and external doors. This is a quality company, with quality products, providing quality craftsmanship. We heartily give them a well deserved highest recommendation.

The job started in May 2015. All windows and all but one slider was installed during the week allotted. The final slider had the wrong part and they were going to come back to complete the work in approximately 2 weeks. The week they were supposed to come back and install the final slider, I went into labor so we had to reschedule for end of August. They came out and Ron installed the final slider (per our request, Ron was by far the most professional, most efficient, and demonstrated the most consideration for our home). When that was completed, there were still many little details that needed fixing including drywall damage, stucco damage, paint touch-up, nail holes that needed to be filled, and minor damage to the slider doors and frames. I have called multiple times to get these final details completed. Many of my calls go unreturned and so I have to call AGAIN. I've talked to 5 different people in their office regarding my issues including the salesman we purchased from, Mike and the OWNER of the company. Today, they sent someone out to repair my stucco (he is excellent by the way) but arrived 30 minutes early and I had to bring my daughter to school. No one from the office communicated that to him. Luckily, I was home and he could get started. But, the paint and nail hole touch up person was not with him. So the job is STILL NOT DONE. I was going to wait to write my review until all work was completed, but now it is going on 5 months so I figured it is what it is. Bottom line, the windows are excellent quality, the installalers are top of the line, most of them are very considerate of your home. BUT, the communication between installers and office is extremely poor, so much so, that one day someone showed up and we didn't even know they were coming. There are some installers that do not demonstrate pride in their workmanship and that will leave the work area a mess. If you can constantly call them and babysit to make sure your work is complete, then use them. But if you are going for any type of efficiency, not the company for you. We are very disappointed.

I can't say enough about the professionalism from start to finish. From the first sales call to the installation the experience was tremendous. They may not be the lowest cost provider, although competitive, but when you use Armortech you have certainty in a job well done and confidence in the product. Armortech took more time in explaining the product and process to me than any other bid I received. Most importantly everything they promised they delivered!! Not only was the installation crew the most hardworking and professional contractor I've ever encountered but they went above and beyond, without being asked, to complete the job. If you are considering replacement windows and doors this is the company to work with!

The people I dealt with at Armortech were very professional and helpful. The came out and measured twice. The installers were on time and had the job finished in a day and a half. They showed me how the windows worked and how to clean the windows and screens and advised me on what to use. They answered all my questions and were very pleasant. After they were finished with the job they thoroughly cleaned up any mess they created and then washed all the windows they had installed. I love my new windows and would highly recommend this company.

It went great, the first day I had two of their teams of installers at my house and the second day I had one of the original teams come back and finish the job. They were so professional I felt comfortable asking them to lock up my house for me. (I had a funeral to attend.) I would absolutely use them again because the entire experience was nice, from sales to final installed product. Great Job!!

After ordering, and windows came in arrived on scheduled day and completed work in two days. Neat clean up after both days. Windows are beautiful and quiet. Area with leak remained dry after big downpour dyas after fixing. Everyone involved was professional and personable. I would recommend Armortech to replace windows to anyone that asked.
