Dawne B. This is the second repair that I called Dr. Appliance to my home and both times I am so glad I called them. Mr. Eric knows what he is doing and does it well I had no doubt about anything he told me he is honest and to the point NOT a rip off or scam. He gave an estimate that was accurate and fair on both jobs. I did have to buy a new washer but there was nothing he could do it was the main board that went bad. I bought the washer with the house I don't know how old it was or if they had anything wrong with it so I bought a new one (LG). Then I bought a used refrigerator also LG I won't say where I bought it but when I got it home it would not cool or freeze so I called LG and it would have cost $125.00 to come and diagnose and then labor would be $250.00 and they couldn't get to me for 2 weeks. So I called Dr. Appliance remembering he worked on LG when I called he couldn't get there over the weekend but he could come that Monday so I took the appointment. His office called and said they could come Friday and I said great I'll take it. Mr. Eric was there on Friday on time and fixed my fridge in about 1 hours time and it is running ever since and all I had to pay was a little parts and labor. When I told the place that I bought the fridge from they were glad that I didn't make them replace my fridge even though they were ready to do that they had another fridge held aside for me like they knew it wasn't working But I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Appliance I won't call anyone else for my repairs and I give his card to anyone that needs a repair done. I am so glad I found them

Did not respond to Angies list message. Called and got a secretary. She said they did not service Lehigh Acres. At Angies List it says they service Lee county. That is not true.

He was clean organized and professional

Came out right away ,ordered part and installed quickly. Serviceman was personable and friendly.

Referenced Angie’s List for a repair service. Noted high marks for Dr. Appliance so made the call. Service tech was able to come the next day, promptly diagnosed the problem & ordered the part. He arrived within two days (over a weekend), installed the part & all is well! What impressed us was his suggestion to purchase an appliance surge protector (cost: $10) which would have alleviated our electronic board burn out caused by a power surge. Tech (Eric) well versed on maintenance and offering suggestions!

Control circuit board needed to be replaced. Ordered and came in a few days. Fast installation by their Cuban service man. But what impressed me no end is how he went Beyond the Call of duty. I had another provider come out more than 3 weeks previous. He made the same diagnosis and same price collecting half up front. For the next 3 weeks I called, texted, emailed and filled out that provider's online contact form. He would not answer his phone and would not return my contact attempts. Eric at Dr. Appliances knew him and was concerned that something bad might have happened to my missing provider. He called his office to report and ask if they had heard from my previous provider. They said, yes, he was in here a couple of days ago. So we breathed a sign of relief. I have NEVER ever in the past seen a provider concerned about a COMPETITOR. Hats off to Dr. Appliances!!

Hans was terrific. Installation was very fast. I have used Dr. Appliances several times in the past. I have always found them to be honest, knowledgible and cost effective. In fact I have referred them to a number of people who live in our development and will continue to do so.

They advertise that they service Lee County. I live in Lee County yet they said my "location" was not on their service list. I would say that is false advertising.

On time, professional, and took the time to explain what the issue was and how it was going to be fixed. Also took the time to show tips how to program useful settings. I highly recommend D.R. Appliances!

Quick diagnosis, had to order part, quick install 2 days later. Professionally done.

Eric was awesome. Explained repair vs replace and cost involved. In the end, we determine was better to replace. On time, professional and best prices around. Will refer this company to everyone in need of appliance repair. We have found our go-to company for our repairs. Thank you, Thank you.

Eric called prior to coming to get more information on the unit, ordered the part that was not working, and was punctual on coming the day after tomorrow to fix the unit. Eric did a superb/efficient job in fixing our dryer comparing it to the previous technician we had the year before fixing the same problem, you could see the difference that he knew what he was doing. Will definitely rehire Eric for any of our future appliance needs.

The technician discovered the problem and a non functioning part replaced quickly. The actual ice-maker module had not only cracked but was appeared to have mold on it. After the repair, the ice maker made ice once and then quit though. A second service call was needed. On the second visit it was determined another part-the infrared sensor-had failed but this was not related to the module that was replaced. Before he left, the technician ran the ice maker through a manual cycle to be sure it was a working. All total, the replacement of the ice-maker module plus the separate infrared sensor, cost less than $350. Ice maker works better than it did before!!

Eric, from Dr. Appliance, opened the lid, pushed down on the agitator and knew immediately that the stabilizers needed to be replaced. Eric had to order the parts, and once he received them (it was just a couple of days) he came back and installed them. Eric was very knowledgeable, friendly and very efficient. Great experience, we would call them again if we need appliance repair!

Fixed problem. Recommended installing maintenance kit. Will do when we return next winter.

The company,s website indicates they cover Lehigh Acres, FL. The customer service representative that answered the phone informed me they did not cover the area. If you lie about what you do, you probably lie about your performance. Change your wed site to be correct!

A technician came out on January 8th to determine why my ice maker was not making ice. After about 30 minutes, he told me I needed a whole new ice maker and the total cost would be $216.60. He said I had to put half down to order the part and it would take about 2 weeks to get it in from the manufacturer. So I paid him $108.30 on my credit card. Two weeks later, on Monday, Jan 22nd, I received an email (NO PHONE CALL) saying that a technician would be at my home at 6:00 pm the next day. He showed up at my door without warning at 3:30 pm. Fortunately I was at home all day that day. After about half hour, he told me that the first technician had ordered the wrong ice maker and he would have to take it back and order another one. Well...I told him I was not going to wait another 2 weeks without ice and that I wanted a refund of my deposit. He talked with his supervisor on the phone and then told me she would call me regarding my refund request. A week went by and no refund and no call. So I called and asked for the refund of my $108.30. I then went online to Samsung and ordered the part myself with a two day (NOT 2 WEEKS) shipping. Then a representative called my back and said they would refund all but their $59.00 service fee. I told her that was unacceptable because they DID NOT FIX MY ice maker. She said she would consult with the owner and get back to me. She called back and left me the message that said the owner said he would NOT waive the $59.00 service fee and a check was being sent to me for the remainder. She also said that owner said the PAID SERVICE FEE WAS GOOD FOR A YEAR and they would proceed to fix the problem or otherwise would not refund the service fee. I don't feel that is the right thing to do. If the first technician is incapable of looking at a model number and ordering the right part, why should I have to pay him a $59 service fee to inevitably do without ice for 4 weeks??? I now do not trust this company and would NOT recommend them to anyone if they do business in this manner.

Our tech Hans had to order a part and come back but everything was reasonable (including price) and performed as promised. Hans was very professional and courteous and we would not hesitate to hire DR Appliances again and would recommend them to friends or family.
